Highly recommend this place! The house was spotless and had a great vibe. The neighborhood was quiet, the hot tub was perfect, and it’s close to plenty of great spots. The host was extremely communicative and respectful. Overall, a wonderful place to stay.

Unfortunately, the post on Vrbo is misleading! The house indicates 8 guests-DOES NOT STATE ANY EXTRA CHARGE! Kinda sneaky I would say…… otherwise, the house was accommodating, tidy, well-stocked! This really should have been made clear as owner was notified in advance that my Grand and friend would stay over night 1 night at the end of week.

I’m sorry you feel that way. If you look at when you registered it asks how many guests and you only put 2 when there was really 6 people for 7 nights and 7 people for eight night. There was also a dog not registered. Not only was there a dog without prior approval, there was dog urine and fences all over the house. I have pics to prove it. Also damage and unmovable stains. On bed and bed sheets, vacuum was broken, and the house smelled horrible. It looks like this may have been the first time you guys have booked a short term rental. Look at my VRBO page, everything is transparent. It’s hard for you to know this as I had to work things out away from the app with someone else without access to the app. as you can see from my reviews what you are saying is totally incorrect. Sorry it had to be this way. Take it as a learning lesson. I sure will!

Nice property, unclear terms for pet

Property itself is nice! I can tell that thought went into the layout and furnishings. Loved the firepit (not propane - you need wood.) The owner is extremely responsive and polite—which is a plus. Check-in at the Community Center during a peak time took an hour, so account for that, as the owner cannot control it. Double-check your check out tasks, as they vary in VRBO vs the “Check Out List” posted in the property vs the owner communications. Communication and budgetary planning would work more smoothly if the pet fee were clearly mentioned in the listing—better yet, mentioned where it says “Pet Friendly.” When I booked in November and also when I arrived in December, it was not mentioned anywhere in the listing nor in the pop-up window where all of the additional fees appear.

Wonderful Winter Family Getaway

We booked a very last minute getaway for the kids' winter break. The house is nicely renovated, thoughtfully furnished and stocked, exceptionally clean, well labeled, and close to everything. Steven was very prompt in responding to every inquiry, no matter how tiny. We had a fabulous time!

New house, 30 min drive to many attractions

Property was clean, new and well appointed. 1 mile to community pool and lake. Easy in/out to many area summer attractions and lakes. Owner was super responsive to my questions. Appliances and AC are high quality. Grocery and Walmart nearby. Grill outside kitchen made cooking efficient. Outdoor table as well. Would recommend home to those with or without kids. Community amenities require a daily badge at a minimal cost per person.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

I chose this area for its balance of peace, nature, and recreation. Nestled in the heart of the Poconos, the community offers a safe, gated setting surrounded by tall pines, quiet roads, and fresh mountain air. Mornings here are calm — coffee on the deck, birds in the trees, sunlight filtering through the woods. Evenings bring a different kind of magic: crisp air, starlit skies, and the glow of the fire pit or fireplace after a day at the lake or pool. The lakes, beach, walking paths, and family amenities create the perfect mix of relaxation and activity. It feels private and tucked away, yet close to skiing, waterparks, shopping, and restaurants. I chose this location because it allows guests to truly unwind while still having everything they need nearby.

この宿泊施設の特徴

What makes this home unique is the balance of comfort, space, and thoughtful extras. The open-concept layout with a stunning double-sided brick fireplace creates a warm, inviting atmosphere you don’t often find in typical short-term rentals. The private 4–6 person hot tub, outdoor fire pit, hammocks, and BBQ grill turn the backyard into a true retreat. Parking for up to five vehicles is rare in this community, making it ideal for families and groups. Located inside a secure gated community with lakes, pools, and recreation, guests get both privacy and access to resort-style amenities. As a First Responder owned and operated home, cleanliness, safety, and attention to detail are priorities. From complimentary wine and snacks to starter essentials provided, every detail is designed to make your stay easy, comfortable, and memorable. Oh and the 85” Flat Screen TV with Home Theater system, Netflix, TV Prime, and channels from all over the world doesn’t hurt. 😉
