Amazing place!

Everything was absolutely perfect! Lovely, well-equipped condo with beautiful views and a fabulous hot tub! Communication with host was great, and we had a wonderful time! We will definitely be back!

Best VRBO ever!!

This mountain condo was absolutely perfect for our family of 4! The condo is very cozy and the best equipped rental that I’ve stayed at. Rachel is a phenomenal host and very communicative with detailed instructions and helpful tips. Having young kids we appreciated extra toys in the condo. :) There were plenty of throw blankets and other thoughtful amenities to create a perfect holiday. We lucked out with great snowy weather! Thank you for sharing this awesome place with our family. :))My biggest concern with leaving this review is that this gem won’t be available for us next year!

A gorgeous gem in the sky

My boyfriend and I felt extremely lucky to get to stay here. We decided to run away together for a romantic Thanksgiving weekend. Everything was perfect. We didn’t get to use the hot tub because of high winds, but it felt like a fair trade because the property was just so well kept and organized and clean. Great access to hiking, skiing, tubing, anything you can think of in the mountains. Hoping we will be welcome back!

What an awesome property!

Absolutely perfect place. Great location, close to so much and the views! The place was clean, well furnished and up-to-date decor. Bedding, towels, appliances and hot tub were great quality. One of the best locations we have ever rented.

Annual Family Ski Trip

We loved our stay at this condo! We had everything we needed to fix meals after a day of fun and the hot tub was wonderful for the adults. The furniture was super comfy and great for movie nights. Since the condo is at the top of the mountain, the winds are fierce. I would recommend brining white noise machines to cancel out the wind noise. The view however, was spectacular!!!! We’ll definitely book here again!

First Snow

We really enjoyed our stay and the accommodations made it so nice to relax. The views were amazing and beds very comfortable. Having the 2 king sized beds were perfect for us. The kitchen had everything we needed. The location being at the top of the mountain allows us to not feel surrounded by others and since it was at the end of the road we could take my son out to play in some of the snow that was his first time seeing. We made great memories and would love to come visit in a warmer time to do more hiking and water activities!

Hiking getaway

Came out for a short hiking getaway and this was an awesome location to relax and recharge. Condo was great (amazing views) with great access to plenty of restaurants. The hosts made everything cozy inside and the interactions with them were great.

Amazing!

This is by far one of the best places we've stayed in the NC mountains. It was very clean and well maintained. The beds are so comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. The view is breathtaking and the hot tub was amazing. It felt like home. We will be back!

Clean.. spacious.. 95% ofeverything you need.. all furniture was comfortable from living room to bedroom.. hot tub awesome & private.. beautiful views.. definitely coming back !!

AMAZING PLACE!

From the second you walk in the door, your jaw will drop because the view is just AMAZING! This condo has everything you need, and more. It's clean, well stocked, comfortable, and communication with the owner is easy, if needed. We loved it so much, we even stayed an extra night! We would've stayed longer, but, sadly, we had to get back to reality. We highly recommend this property. 5+ stars!!!

Everything you need and more

All the amenities you could ever need. Quiet and comfortable. Great bed, deep bathtub. End unit was quiet and private. Wonderful views on either floor. GPS took us right to the unit. Bring your own coffee pot, all they have is an older Keurig. Two flights of stairs to lower unit. Easy access to Banner Elk, Grandfather Mountain, numerous hiking paths. Will consider returning.

Another great stay!

This was our second visit to this property and it was, once again, fantastic. Great sunsets and views from the balcony (of course), comfortable, clean, and homey interior, and the hot tub was perfect for relaxing after our hikes. Everything worked perfectly and Rachel was quick to respond to questions and concerns (power went out during the ice/snow storm--she notified the power company, told us where the flashlights were, and confirmed we could use the gas fireplace for emergency heat. Outage was only a few hours but we appreciated the support). So, all told, another great stay!
