Oceanblock & Downtown Bethany - 2 bed / 1 bathroom with Private Sun Porch

Oceanblock, and one block from Bethany’s main street, this newly renovated 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom unit is perfect for your next vacation.

The apartment is at the rear courtyard of 116 Hollywood Street, a mere 200 yards from the beach, with no need to cross any major roads or highways to get there. A washer dryer is free to use in the building’s separate laundry room, which is shared with the downstairs apartment. The building also features an outdoor shower (also shared with the downstairs apartment).

Just renovated for the 2021 season, this unit sleeps up to 5 guests (with pull-out sofa or, as an alternative, a host-provided air mattress in the living room), and features a well-equipped kitchen, living area, and private sun porch—perfect for morning coffee, afternoon reading, or an evening cocktail.

With two included street-parking passes, you can park your car and simply walk to the beach, boardwalk, and Bethany’s downtown shops and restaurants.

Children are welcome! Guests provide their own sheets and linens, and we are happy to recommend linen-rental companies.

This apartment can be rented along with the main house and an additional unit at the rear of the property--creating up to a 7 bedroom, 6.5 bath compound, with three kitchens and separate spaces perfect for larger gatherings and multi-generational vacations. Discounts are available for combined bookings.

Perfect first visit to Bethany Beach

This was our fist time visiting Delaware and it was an absolute blast. Great place, clean, great host, and you CANNOT beat the proximity to the beach (as well as restaurants, shops, etc). We hope to come back soon!

Small but mighty

We had a great time staying here. Very very close to beach, 1 short block to all the stores, restaurants, ice cream, etc. Parking pass for the street was priceless. Would stay again and recommend to others.

Great stay!

The property was very clean and had all the amenities you need for a fun-filled stay in Bethany! Some beach chairs and umbrellas were supplied, which was very convenient for our group. Communication with the owners was top-notch. Would definitely recommend!!

Ideal beach weekend getaway

The property and our hosts were perfect. The accommodations delivered as advertised. Cute, clean and comfortable. Great location to beach and downtown. For us the weather did not cooperate but the place was excellent family together time which is what we were looking for.

Location!

We really enjoyed our stay at this rental!! Location was perfect....ocean block and only 1 block to all the shops and restaurants. Accurate decription of apartment. Clean and well organized. And Bill was great to work with. Would stay here again!

Perfect Weekend at the Beach

This apartment was absolutely perfect for our beach weekend getaway. Quick and clear communication with William from check in to check out. You simply can't beat the location that is a 2-3 min walk to the beach or the main street with all that Bethany has to offer. The sunporch was an awesome space to relax after the kids went to bed. We will definitely be back!

Friendly beach town

My husband and I stayed in the upstairs apartment which was perfect for the two of us. The beach is just minutes away and a pleasant walk.The town is also very close with plenty of shopping and dining options. We parked the car and never needed it! Our hosts Bill and Ashley were very responsive and helpful. All in all a great week!

Perfect location!

This apt was the perfect spot for our little family. Not only was it clean and exactly as advertised, but the hosts were incredibly responsive and overly accommodating on all fronts! Its a small space, but still worked perfect fine for the 4 of us and you absolutely cannot beat the location. The extremely short walk to the beach was more than manageable for our little ones, and it was awesome being right by the boardwalk. That convenience factor made the location. And, despite being right by the hustle and bustle it was still quiet for our girls’ bedtimes. We will definitely be back!

Perfect Location!

My husband and I booked Bill & Ash’s place for a “spur of the moment” trip when we saw that the weather forecast was going to be sunny & warm for a few days. We are fortunate that this cute apartment was available! It is a breeze to walk to the beach, to gift shops, and to restaurants on the boardwalk. Bill is a personable, excellent host; and he provided very clear instructions for everything. He arranged for an early check-in time and a late check-out time for us, which we very much appreciated. We were the only ones staying at the property, so we were allowed to park in the driveway, which was nice. The beach chairs and beach umbrellas came in handy for us, as well as the garden hose, which we used to rinse our feet before going into the apartment. We enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to stay here again!

Perfect for our little family!

We had a wonderful stay! A very short walk to beach and to all shops and restaurants. Place was clean and had enough space for everything for the three of us. Our young child was able to use their high chair and pack n play, so we didn’t need to pack them. There is a stroller available too, but we didn’t utilize theirs. Pack n play fit tightly in the second bedroom between one of the twin beds and the dresser, but it worked out well! The enclosed sun room was a perk to hang out at night. Their TV has roku, which allows you to log into your own netflix, prime, etc. All of us got comfortable fast here and had a fun time for a week. Part of the time, there were no tenants in the main house, so the owners allowed us to use the driveway. This helped us out a lot with a young child getting in and out of the car on rainy days. Owners were a breeze to communicate with and were accommodating with anything that we had questions about quickly. We made some great memories here and would definitely stay here again!

The location is perfect

The location of this place is great. It’s So close to the beach that You can run back to the house without it being a pain. It’s a short block away from stores and restaurants and mini golf. My family had a great week here. Hopefully we didn’t bother the people first floor too much!

Amazing Home Close to Beach and Town

Our week away at the beach was perfect. The house was super close to the beach. It was so close to town too. The house was perfect clean. The home owners were very quick to respond. Look forward to renting the home again!
