Having all the landmarks of an ideal vacation place: beach, sand, view, sunset, and relaxation.

Simply wonderful, our 2 bedrooms \ 2 baths condo, in phase II, on the ground floor of Coronado building with over 2600 square feet of living space exhibits beautiful tile and marble surfaces, including two balconies with an unhampered view of clear and blue water of Sea of Cortez and beautiful pools.`Being on the ground floor and centrally located, it offers a wide terrace area and wonderful open space as well as easy access to restaurants, marketplace, Pool area, and BBQ place. The view from the second bedroom just looks into the hallway and the parking lane. The golf area is a bit distant and off sight as the bedroom is on the street level.

The condo is fully furnished - the kitchen is equipped with all the necessary cooking utensils. The dining room can seat 6 people plus the indoor kitchen bar allows seating for an additional 4 people. Electronic amenities include Smart TV, DVD Player, CD player & Radio with surround system in Living Room and Smart Screens & DVD Players in Two bedrooms.

Las Palomas Beach & Golf Resort is the biggest master plan resort, situated in the exclusive Sandy Beach area of Puerto Penasco (Rocky Point); a vacation destination set against the Sea of Cortez - known as theGulf of California with clear, deep blue waters.

It has an in-situ lobby check-in, two fine dining restaurants, a fitness center, a big-box shop/gift shop, underground parking, spectacular pools with 2-negative edge pools, and swim-up bars. Las Palomas Beach & Golf Resort also comes up with a lazy river and a water slide, a walk-out beach with private seashore huts including drink and foodservice. Another great amenity is the beach towels and lounge chairs that are provided for your poolside enjoyment.

Fun things to do!

It offers an abundance of recreational activities for everyone including Golf at the Links, a series of Pools, Hot Tubs, and Lazy Rivers w/Rafts, El Citron, and La Maria with its Fine Food Cuisine Restaurants, Swim-Up Bars, Lounge Chairs with optional face shields, and Palapas on the Beach. Also available is a fully NEW equipped Exercise Room and BBQs.

Clean place but uncomfortable beds

The unit was clean and we really enjoyed the location of the unit. We were concerned because this unit isn't part of the rental pool which means you have to check in at the HOA office and bring your own towels in addition to any issues with the unit have to be resolved by the owner and not the maintenance staff. The check in was easy, bringing our own towels was a pain and we had to wash daily but at least we knew ahead of time. Bring your own laundry detergent! The cons are that the unit beds (all of them) were extremely uncomfortable and hard, the tv's did not have any local channels, we didn't have enough bath towels for the number in our party, there was no bar soap or anything left, the kitchen lacked certain items and spices, and the dishwasher did not work. The owner provided a couple more towels but did not respond to another request until our stay was over. Overall, we won't be staying in this unit again as there are more equipped units at Las Palomas for the same fee.

Place is bomb, location is bomb, just bummed i had to figure out myself how to check in.

This place is top notch!! I would love to come here again, just bummed owners app wasn't working and had hard time communicating and didn't know how to check in..

Love it

The property is cleaned and organized, the manager/owner Rick is very supportive, I ask for a extension for me checkout time and Rick have no problem with it and let us stay a little later so we can fully rested to drive back out at 3day vaca. Will definitely come back.

Deceptive room description and dirty room

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS OWNER This room is not authorized for rent at the resort, therefore it does not include cleaning service or any other service by the resort staff. Owner stated the room would be cleaned prior to my arrival and it was not. The resort would not do anything about that since it is not part of the rental pool. Owner charges full price as of it were in the rental pool. Room was extremely dirty. Bedding and towels were on the floor. Pizza boxes and drinks all over the kitchen. Dirty dishes in sink. All trash cans full. Counters dirty. I had to clean the first night we arrived. I started washing all of the sheets and the dryer was broken. The room description says 3 bedroom and sleeps 8, but that’s a lie. I asked the owner how I can sleep 8 people and she recommended that 3 people sleep per king bed. I couldn’t believe it so I booked a second room. I had to finish washing the bedding in the second rental, which is not under this owner. I cleaned until 3 am the first night and we were not able to do any vacation activities and the room was not sanitized. On my 3rd night the owner scheduled a change of appliances. The workers were in my room for 3 hours. And the appliances were used. I wouldn’t care about that except for the fact that the refrigerator was dirty and the workers put all of my food in the dirty refrigerator. The owner offered to refund ONLY half of the first night, but then retracted and only offered $100 refund of a $650 per night room. I’ve stayed at las Palomas on a yearly basis for over 10 years and have never experienced this. This is not a reflection of the resort or what they have to offer. Just don’t rent this room from this owner! It’s a nightmare!

Great place to stay!

Had an excellent experience staying at this condo. I have stayed in las Palomas many times and this was my favorite condo yet. Owner was very helpful and nice with everything. Was also very responsive to any questions. I highly recommend this condo for anyone looking to enjoy there time in rocky point!

We arrived at LP and went to front desk to check in. We were told that we needed to go down stairs to the HOA center to check in. The HOA center had our names wrong but with a little discussion it was resolved (they were very hospitable). They would only give us 2 room keys though. our group consisted of Adults and young adults two keys were not enough. HOA gave us wrist bands but we were not allowed to run a table, we had to take a card or money with us everywhere. The accommodations were very clean. We did run into a few issues though. We never found the half bath, there was no patio furniture (we were told the day before arrival there was none) the furniture as shown in the pictures was nice (2 lawn chairs, patio sectional, and concrete picnic type table to eat on) this would have been nice to have for use throughout the days we stayed. All other communication was prompt. The master sink handle was missing, the TVs were difficult to use (Smart TVs, only got 2 of the 3 working), we were unable to find covers for the bunk beds (had sheets), and no spare bedding. It would have been nice to have a binder with instructions for TV, WiFi, thermostat, shower hot and cold locations, hot water heater switch, additional bedding/ cover/ comforters, etc.. A lot of the decorations were taken down and placed in the closets which took up usable space for our items. Overall the stay was good.

False Advertisement with this Property

This is NOT a 3 bedroom it’s a 2 bedroom with bunk beds in a closet as the 3rd room. They only provided 6 towels and some had holes in them. Wasn’t told until the day before our stay that room service or cleaning service doesn’t come with this booking, as well as NO patio furniture that was shown in pictures. Among other issues.. There are amazing rooms at this Resort but this is one I will never book again.

Beautiful and Relaxing!

You can't beat the location! such a beautiful place. The place was clean and the owner was quick to respond to problems we had and ensured they would be fixed for future guests. I wish there was better communication as far as checking in process & location. we waited in a long line in the lobby and it was in a completely different "phase" which we also didn't know there was a phase one and two. they provided enough dish soap to do like one load of dishes so bring your own dish soap. the dishwasher also leaked after using the sink. the screen door wasn't on all the way one of the sinks was missing a handle and you get a brown wrist band so you cant rent out towels or floaties for the kids to use at the pool only people with the green wristbands can. so in short bring your own pool towels because they don't provide you enough towels to use at the pool and to shower with.
