A Beautiful, Peaceful Getaway From the City With a Pool the Kids Loved, a Cozy Campfire, and Wonderful, Responsive Hosts

Jose and Jennifer were wonderful hosts. Very responsive and appreciated that they were in constant communication with us. Their house was beautiful! It’s a very peaceful neighborhood, a great place to stay to get away from the city noise. My niece and nephew had a blast in the pool, there were plenty of seats by the campfire. Definitely a place I would recommend!

My family had a great vacation at Old Mallard! Traveling with 2 little ones, this home had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The pool and hot tube were prefect hang out spots for both kids and adults. The lake is quiet and so relaxing. Definitely recommend!

Our family of 7 adults and 2 young children had a perfect vacation here. We enjoyed the pool, fishing, the kayak, the canoe, bbq, fire pit, community beach and pool. Jose was very responsive to our requests. Some updates are needed to justify the high cost. These were communicated to the owner.

They have kayaks and a little pedal boat available, and even though I don’t normally kayak, I ended up taking one out on my own with my little dog. It was honestly one of my favorite moments of the entire stay. The lake is so serene and beautiful, no matter what time of day you’re out there. I can’t remember the last time I felt that peaceful. We also loved seeing the deer casually wandering through the backyard. They were completely harmless and so beautiful to watch. The surrounding homes were quiet and respectful, which made the whole setting feel even more relaxing. The hosts were friendly, helpful, and extremely responsive whenever we needed anything.

The rooms were clean and comfortable and the host thought of everything. ALL your needs are met.
