The Space:

As you enter this magnificent cottage, you will notice the beauty and calm that it will provide you. In the entrance hall, you will find a powder room on your right and a closet on your left. To the right of the entrance is a bedroom with a queen bed and a private bathroom with a shower. To the left is the kitchen, dining room and living room with open air. A large round table is at your disposal in the dining room and the living room has a couch, a table, a television, a fireplace and a large window. Next to the fireplace, you will find a bedroom with a king bed and a private bathroom with a shower. The stairs in front of the entrance will lead you to the lower level where you will find a spacious living room with a couch, a table, a television, a library, a fireplace and a pool table. On this floor you will also find two bedrooms with queen beds, one bedroom with two single beds and a bathroom with shower and bath. Outside, you will find the beautiful three-season veranda with a large table with six chairs and a small table and two chairs. On the balcony, you can relax in the hot tub and unwind in the sauna which is downstairs from the balcony. At the back of the cottage, there is a 24 foot heated, private, above ground pool. This is the ideal cottage for an unforgettable family vacation.

This cottage offers a peaceful and secluded retreat surrounded by breathtaking mountain views. It’s perfect for nature lovers and those seeking a quiet escape

The nearest international airport is Montreal-Mirabel International Airport (YMX), located about 26 miles away, with driving time varying based on traffic. Free parking is available on-site.

The host nation ignored our concerns of items that were broken in the unit I really don’t have any energy to give you a respond as it was very disappointing to have a host that kept telling us that the breaker box didn’t work and that we were doing wrong The heater didn’t work in the downstairs bathroom we could turn it on but it didn’t generate heat We also had problems with the sauna which didn’t work every day
Plugs didn’t move which were ignored by host
The unit was tired and dusty
Kettle didn’t work it was replaced with a 1 L unit for 10 people
Pots we’re all worn out we did get a new set

We had a very disappointing stay at this property.The primary issue was not a lack of communication. Management did respond to messages. The problem was a consistent pattern of deflection and refusal to meaningfully investigate concerns that were raised during our stay.There were multiple issues throughout our visit. The heating system was only one of them. When we reported that the heater was not functioning properly, we were told to simply turn it on — something we had already done. We were then guided through additional steps, implying user error. We followed every instruction carefully. The heater still did not work. Despite this, we were told there was “no problem,” and no one came to inspect the system.What made this more concerning was discovering that a guest who stayed two months earlier had reported the same heating issue. When this was brought to management’s attention, it was dismissed as unrelated.The heater was only one example. The broader experience was defined by repeated minimization of legitimate concerns and a refusal to take responsibility or investigate issues in person.Communication alone is not accountability. That distinction became very clear during this stay.

Great Place to Gather & Reconnect

This stay was about being together with friends and really reconnecting. The place was perfect for this. We had so many bonding opportunities - in the pool and backyard, over a couple of billiard games and lots of food. The place was spacious and furnished in a way that invited comfortable gatherings whether around the dinner table, outside or in the basement. Would definitely go back with another group of people that we'd like to spend quality time with. Thank you for having us!

Clean and well appointed property. Hot tub and sauna a plus. Host very responsive and accommodated an early check in. Will be booking fiddler lake again in the future.
