Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Excellent location. Views very beautiful and calming. Easy access to the beach. Rooms clean and comfortable. Any time we had to contact the company they were very friendly and helpful.

Family long weekend

Property has excellent layout for family to have personal space and a great space for being together too! This was our 1st mini family vacation and it was wonderful!

Nice family vacation

As return guests with family ranging from kids to grandparents, we all love the house’s location, cleanliness, comfort, layout and amenities. Unfortunately, during this stay the refrigerator and freezer did not work well, which caused some of our food to spoil. I expect to hear that it’s been repaired/replaced properly from the very attentive property management, and then we will be booking again!

Nice condo

Lovely deck on main floor and a great view from the 3rd floor deck. Convenient location. Our family had a great week there. Great location oceanfront makes it easy to get to the beach in a matter of minutes.

Wonderful family beach getaway

This was our second summer staying here with extended family. We love the comfort, cleanliness, outdoor space and convenient location. Check in and check out was easy. Vacasa was helpful and responsive by phone and text for a check in need. Hope to be back!

Fun family trip to the beach

Adults and kids alike loved the house, balconies, views, pool, access to beach and the outdoor play area. Beds were comfortable, house was clean, kitchen supplies met our needs and there were plenty of tvs and space for a full house. Would love to return!

Loved that the house was right on the beach. Only thing that was missing was a screen door in the back. With the warm weather we wanted to get some fresh air and leaving the sliding door open with no screen door brought a ton of flies into the house.

There was standing water from a storm a few days prior that caused flooding in another home. The water was in the garage and caused a mildew smell throughout the home. Location was amazing though loved being right on the beach.

Awesome Visit

I treated my family to a fun vacation at this location. We had an amazing time, the location is the best part. Being able to sit out on the decks and take in the beautiful views of the beach and ocean was so relaxing, both in the morning and watching the sun set at night. The grandkids had a blast playing out front in the private beach, as we watched them from the very nice deck table. It was so enjoyable to be able to drink and relax as they were playing and we could see them the whole time. As a grandparent this was a big plus. The kids also loved swimming in the pool, the were very happy at having the chance to go to both the beach and swimming in the pool in the same day. Another plus.. they all fell sound asleep from playing and swimming all day. The home is very comfortable, the bedrooms were all a good size and had bathrooms. Another plus !! It was a great visit, would highly recommend this home. Ocean City, Maryland is my favorite shore destination and I am now adding this home to one of my favorites also. ♥️

Worst Stay Ever in Ocean Colony Unit 2

6 out of 12 light bulds out, including stairwells. Not a safe enviroment for people noy familar with the house. Locks on door broken. Lock on children room not working at all. Had to adjust and fix. Washer/Dryer doors to laundry room off tracks. Could not fix. Got locked out from electonic front door lock. Took too long to fix. 3-4 phone calls and vists to 64 street office. Missed my afternoon medication. Towel holder in first floor bedroom broken. AC/ Heat turned off at breaker box. Large screen door to back door sitting in the utility room on first floor. All the childproof gates all broken. Not a safe place for children. Left a day early. The lockout was the last straw.

Communication & follow up with management company poor

The house is a great location for small children. We had several plumbing issues which were called in the day we checked in. I called numerous times and kept being told that mgmt would call me back. They never did. There is also a breakdown of communication from the after hours or central number and the local office. They also said management would call us back and did not. All associates very kind when I would speak to them, however no follow through at all with what we were being told. We will not rent this house again, nor will we rent from Vacasa again. Our issues were never resolved while we were there. Only as we were checking out and my husband and I went to the mgt company in person and insisted on speaking to the manager did they finally speak to us. Hopefully they have fixed the issues and brought the home up to standard for the future renters. Our issues included: Water coming through the kitchen ceiling when bathtub water running, dishwasher not working, outlet was tripped by the water leak, but even when that dried dishwasher would run but not clean, mold on bedroom ceiling, very slow drains in 2 out of 3 showers, screen on slider kept falling off track .Our family enjoyed themselves being right on the beach, pretty property ,however the above issues need to be addressed both the house issues and communication issues. I understand they are very busy, but our issues were valid and should have been taken care of immediately.

Good and bad.

I'll start with the good. House is beautiful and you can't beat being directly on the beach. Nice furniture outside to sit out and enjoy the beach view. Our mattress was good too! Several good restaurants within walking distance. And the bad...some are minor and some people might not even care. We did make vacasa aware after we left. Hopefully they make changes for the next guest. List of bad - Hairdryer is a fire hazard in the middle bathroom. Needs to be trashed GFI outlet in the kitchen does not work. Frying pans are loosing their non stick coating and need to be replaced. This is a health issue Bunk room sliding door is very hard to lock Shower drain in master bath on main floor and middle floor do not drain. Had to plunge several times but still not draining properly. Ad says three parking spots. Then to learn there is only two. But upon arrival there is not parking spots in a parking lot just parking in a garage. Which is not large enough for two vehicles unless you are driving mini coopers. No trash can in main floor bedroom or bath. Coffee pots do not working properly. Only one side of the toaster works Ants on top floor inside sliding door Air filter needs changed Top floor bathroom door doesn't latch. Shower curtain in top floor bath not long enough. Garage area smells musty. There is water laying right outside the garage door but it hasn't rain in days. There is not water laying outside of any other garage door. Sweepers do not work well. Again, minor to some and overall the house was nice.

BEAUTIFUL!

This property is breath-taking! The location is perfect and the sunrise and sunsets through the many windows and balconies are beautiful! The property was well stocked and the beds were lined with Marriott quality sheets and comforters. There is a bathroom in almost every bedroom. TV's are nice and big and have a lot of channels. Also, checking in and checking out was simple.

Not as advertised

This place was FILTHY! The mattress covers were extremely stained. Every single surface was covered in sticky dirt. They didn’t even run a vacuum. We ended up vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning the lent filters in this place. I shouldn’t have to clean a place after spending as much money as I did!

Lovely beach front property

Ocean Colony 2 was lovely for my family and me. We had a total of 8 adults and the space was perfect. The room and bathroom layout offers a great amount of privacy. The decor and furniture is updated and the location in OCMD is wonderful. Would definitely stay here again.
