That is the real Big Sand Lake, one of Florida's purest natural lakes you see in the picture, and the breathtaking Sunsets Sunrises from the living room and patio. ...and Disney Fireworks too!

Located in the upscale Dr. Philipps area of Orlando, right in the middle of the 3 main Theme Parks - Disney, Universal, and Sea World.
Our villa is privately owned and managed. No timeshare presentation is involved as we are not part of the Westgate timeshares.

Our Lakefront Villa offers the comforts of your own home as a preferred alternative to a hotel room and lets you live in your own 2-story garden-style townhouse. Tastefully decorated, 2 Bedrooms and 2 Baths, 3 queen-size beds that sleep 6 comfortably, a Patio, a covered Balcony, a living room, a fully equipped kitchenette with a stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, cookware, dishware. Starter linens, towels, and supplies are provided.

In addition to better value, more than a hotel stay, there is complete privacy, the liberty to be able to prepare your own meals at your leisure, and more living space. As our previous guest who returns year after year wrote: 'our kids enjoy their own loft apartment upstairs.'

Be aware of details

This is a decent place to stay, just make sure you bring things like coffee, spices, extra paper towels, extra toilet papers, towels, wash clothes.

Villa 117 was a great home away from home!

Gloria was very responsive both before and during our stay. Very easy check-in. It was a nice setup for my son to have the upstairs bedroom and I had the downstairs bedroom. Both had full baths. The complex itself is a bit old, but the villa was cute and really close to the convention center.

Nice place

Safe & convenient

Stayed during Hurricane Milton. The building is very sturdy and never lost power. Gloria communicates very well and the location is very nice & convenient.

The property was very convenient to Universal Studios. There’s plenty of room and a fully stocked kitchen as well as several refrigerators and ample TV We found it to be just what we needed.

Cute lakeside apartment

Great setup with one bed and bath downstairs and the other bed and bath upstairs. Gloria was very timely with responding. Great location for Orlando attractions. The sunsets and views were gorgeous!!!!

The location was perfect for us. Only complaint would be they need a new couch it's very worn. We didn't spend much time there hanging out so it was okay for our short stay.

Nice place

As good as advertised. It is not a good location if you want to walk to downtown Orlando, because there is an interstate in the way and you have to walk three miles out of your way.

Everything was really good. Just like it was shown and mentioned in the advertisement. It’s location is extremely convenient! We were minutes away from all hot spots. I would choose it again if I needed to go back to Orlando

We could not check in til 5 or there was a 25 dollar fee I didn’t know about we had to be out by 10. All other places we have stayed check in at 4 check out at 11. There were no drinking cups just coffee cuts, no wash rags,soap, paper towels or napkins. It was hot (80 degrees inside when we got there) we were not allowed per the rules I got the day before, to change the temperature inside the house.

Location, location, location!!

This property is older, as pictured. If you’re a cook, the kitchen is a kitchenette, very small. Otherwise the location is perfect! A/C works good and the water pressure is fantastic! Things that matter to me! Gloria was a great host and very easy to communicate with. I will definitely stay again!!

Needs TLC.

The oven wasn't usable, bathrooms need deeper cleaning, AC freeze first floor to keep up with upstairs, and far to may TV remote to understand how to operate the TV. Documentation regarding the property doesn't exist. The property manager was lovely and responsive. It served our purposes.

Horrible, Dirty, Unsafe

This property seemed to be more of an apartment complex, not a condo or private residence. I am not sure that it was even a legal residence to be used as VRBO property. From the initial booking of the reservation (which we were overcharged for due to the unresponsiveness of the owner) to check in, this was a horrible experience. Our employees, who work construction, (so they are not picky) stated that this property is run down, outdated, and filthy dirty. The bathroom was disgusting, and the area appeared to be unsafe. I would highly recommend removing this property from the VRBO listing.

Just what we needed at a great price

The price and location were great. Amazing sunset and wildlife over the lake. The property is dated, which is reflected in the price. Property had been cleaned and bedding was obviously fresh but could benefit from a deep cleaning. Not the cleanest we’ve stayed at but not dirty to the point we were uncomfortable. Couch is old and uncomfortable but does have a cover. Recliner is new. Kitchen is very small but we were able to cook several meals and had some laughs figuring out how to cook with the 6 inches of counter. Smoke detector is very sensitive when cooking. Using the TVs does take some work as cables etc. were disconnected when we arrived and there were multiple cable remotes for each tv (4 for the living room). No tv in the upstairs bedroom although it appears there was one in the past. Nice walking path by the lake but you can only walk on the property, neighboring properties are fenced but still a pretty walk (probably 1/4 to 1/2 mile of walking path along the lake and plenty more paths around the property). This building is the 2nd to last row/building of the complex and the door is in the middle of the building. There is a moderate walk to bring groceries/luggage. We struggled to locate the unit as it was dark and raining heavily when we arrived (5:30 in December). The building numbers are difficult to see after dark but parking is marked (2 stalls). Price was great. Would stay again. Host responsive when we had a maintenance issue.

Convenient & Affordable

I rented this property for over a month and it was a very pleasant experience. Conveniently located close to Universal and many restaurants. The view from the apartment is very relaxing thanks to the serenity of Turkey Lake. The apartment was comfortable and clean upon check in. The complex is quiet and we did not have any issues during out stay. If you’re looking for a place to sleep while you enjoy Orlando, this is a good option. Gloria is a superstar host! She was very accommodating and generous throughout our stay. Any questions I had, a quick text and she answered right away. Thank you Gloria, you made my life a lot easier!

The place was very for for the price point. the bed and bed sheets were comfortable and everything worked fine. It is also in a an excellent location (the midway point between Universal or Disney world). It is also easy to get from the airport to the site. The host was excellent and communication prompt and helpful It is an older, unrenovated property which explains my lower ratings in that category. Potential clients should have realistic expectation. At this price point it was exactly what I expected though. I have not regrets staying there. I appreciated how quiet it was too.

Great Location and price

They are squeezing life from an older property, this is an apartment complex probably from the 90s. Bleachy clean smelling #116B is actually one bedroom and bath of a divided apartment. No thermostat in room. A fan was provided which was nice. The large shower has a flat grouted tile floor. Good wi-fi with small steaming TV. Plenty of electrical outlets. Quiet. King bed is a firm innerspring mattress, not a pillow top. No contact check in and out.

Low cost place to hang your head!

If you are not looking for any bells and whistles, this place works just fine. The cost is well in line with amenities offered. I used UBER a lot to run to all the parks. The TV is really small but it works.
