We loved staying at the hidden hideaway cottage! It felt very private and cozy. Our kids loved the fire pit and we liked the connivence of the location to bay beaches and the rail trail. The screened in porch was another highlight of the property. Would definitely recommit staying here!

This property and the owners are exceptional! Just as described… We loved the outdoor shower and fire pit! It was clean and we will definitely be booking with this property again for a vacation next year! The hosts are accommodating… They go out of their way to make you feel at home while on vacation! While we were there there was a windstorm coming so they came in to replace the screens with windows so we would be warm and comfortable… We never even requested this service! We were close to all kinds of restaurants and the ocean of course. We highly recommend!

Very clean, well stocked kitchen. Loved that it felt like a real home that a real family lived in. Host was very easy to communicate with and super helpful when I had a special request. Close to bay and ocean beaches, very quiet. Loved the screened in porch and outdoor shower! Would definitely stay here again.

Not a bad little place to stay in. Off of a dirt road tucked away in the woods so it was nice and quiet. Flat top grill was convenient. Only issue I had was the shower head had a drip that you could hear throughout the entire cottage with the bathroom door closed. Even though there’s a kids bedroom I would recommend this more to a couple rather than a family due to its small size. Overall a good experience though.

The house was exactly as portrayed in the writeup. Easy biking distance to the beach so you save 30/day in parking. Loved the outdoor shower and the screened in porch.

Great location near Orleans, and Welfleet as well as Bay and National Seashore beaches! Would definitely consider staying here again.

Hidden Hideaway is very charming. My friends & I loved the fire pit, & playing board games in the screened-in porch. We took a beautiful walk to the beach. We were here in October, so the summer season may be different, but this is a very silent & peaceful location. It's perfect for a small group of friends or a family to quietly relax.

Cozy retreat

Great location, truly a hidden hideaway, loved having an enclosed porch and a fire pit, and all the necessities, a typical Cape Cod cottage, would definitely like to return for another stay !

Columbus Day weekend

Stayed for a long weekend in the fall. House had the basics, beautiful porch, close to lots of good restaurants and beaches. We will be back for a longer stay.

Comfortable Cape Cod Cottage

Nice location

My family and I enjoyed our stay at hidden hideaway. The nearby beach was closed due to bacteria —so we didn’t get to enjoy but it’s walkable. Cindy and Jim were responsive and welcoming.

Enjoyed our stay for a family vacation. Enough space for a small family. Amazing location. Only thing we didn’t realize was that the road wasn’t paved so the kids couldn’t ride their scooters. Other than that everything was as expected. Cindy and Jim were great and reached out. Check in and check out were smooth. We loved it!

Our family of 5 is from Massachusetts and the New England area and moved for a job opportunity to Minnesota. We still spend a few weeks every year in our cottage and have many good friends and reliable contractors on the Cape who help take care of the cottage.

This cottage was perfect for us with our three young daughters. Secluded, safe, off the beaten path, quiet yet close to everything.

We searched all over the Cape for a few years before fortunately finding this unbelievable place on the best part of the Cape.

Being so close to the Bay and Ocean beaches along with the accessibility to Eastham, Orleans, Wellfleet and Provincetown was important to us.

The outdoor shower was (still is) one of our favorite features ~ even in the Spring and Fall.

We built the fire pit in the front of the property and create many memories with our family, extended family and friends there every year.

この宿泊施設の特徴

The attached screened-in porch and adjacent deck helped us get the kids to sleep and still stay up listening to music, entertaining friends, etc. on the porch without disturbing them.

Being so close to the Bay side beach (Cooks Brook) allowed us to make quick trips back and forth from beach to cottage and back, and made for tons of fun at both high and low tide for our whole family.

We are also able to enjoy the nearby Ocean beaches (Nauset Light, Coast Guard and Marconi) and make the most of our Cape Cod experience every time we're there. We make sure to catch a sunrise or two over the ocean every year since it's so close.

Nauset Ice Cream features unbelievable homemade ice cream and is only 5 minutes from the cottage. This was a definite plus for us ~ along with the incredible and nearby fish markets in Eastham, Welfleet and Orleans.

4th of July on Cooks Brook Beach is a ton of fun where you can watch fireworks up and down the Cape Cod Bay.

The yard is not grassy however it is large enough for running around and family games. Being on a cul-de-sac on a private road allows for a lot of space to play without any traffic. The trees on the property are perfect for relaxing in a hammock!

Last but certainly not least, the SUNSETS on Cooks Brook Beach (pictured above) are absolutely incredible and make for a nice evening walk before or after dinner.
