The house is in the historic center of Uzès, 3' from the Saint-Théodorit Cathedral, the Duchy, the Town Hall, 5' from the Medieval Garden and the Place aux Herbes. Made of Gard stone, its oldest part dates from the 13th century. Rue du Docteur Blanchard, very quiet, is reputed to be one of the most beautiful in the city. Very long, you will discover the facades of sumptuous residences. At the bottom of the Cathedral esplanade, you will reach the Alzon River, the starting point for beautiful hikes.
Housing
The house, with an area of ​​115m2, is built on 3 levels. A ground floor with 1 vestibule, 1 antechamber with wc, 1 bedroom (140 bed) opening onto a patio. A 1st floor with a living room opening onto a balcony and an equipped kitchen. A 2nd floor with the bathroom, a boudoir-library and TV, a bedroom (160 bed).

Travelers have access to the entire house.

It is possible to park in front of the house while unloading the luggage. 3 paying car parks are near the house (Marronniers, Gide, Évêché). 3 free car parks are located 7min. on foot: Refuge stadium, Escalette, Val de l'Eure. A grocery store with organic and local products, Gaiffier, is 100m from the house.

Charming stay in Uzes

The place was very nice, modern, comfortable and the kitchen was well equiped. Great location with many restaurants, boutiques and food shopping nearby. Our host was friendly, welcoming and helpful. I would highly recommend this place for your stay in Uzes.

A beautifully designed rare historic accommodation

This is an unusually wonderfully designed and equipped accommodation. The 13th century structure has been beautifully adapted as a highly aesthetically pleasing place to stay, spacious and comfortable. It was a pleasure to stay here in the lovely town of Uzes and Muriel was a fine host.

My wife and I enjoyed stay at Muriel's immensely. Her beautiful house is exquisitely appointed, has all the modern conveniences one might need for an extended stay, all preserved in the beautiful architecture of the 13th century. Century. Muriel was very helpful and responsive and we found everything we needed nearby. Nearby. It was wonderful to be able to walk virtually everywhere in the city without worrying about our car. When my wife needed. Medical care of Muriel was very helpful and we ended up staying twice as long as planned even though it entailed additional expense. We highly recommend Muriel's beautiful house for as long as you can stay.
