Le Rivat - House for family

Le Rivat is located just a few minutes from the famous Village Vacances Valcartier, the Valcartier military base, the Hôtel de Glace, and many other tourist attractions.

Waking up in the heart of nature every morning, visiting Old Quebec in the same day, returning home to dine with friends and enjoy an outdoor fire or the fireplace inside the house—that’s the agenda awaiting you!

Le Rivat is spacious and welcoming. You will find all the amenities for cooking, as well as bedding and bath towels.

This country-style house can comfortably accommodate 12 adults and 2 children (futons upstairs) in shared rooms.

Surrounded by towering trees and near a river, your stay will be the perfect balance between outdoor adventures and urban life. Just 30 minutes from Old Quebec, you can easily drive to the must-see heritage sites while enjoying the natural setting of your vacation home. Ideal for groups of friends, families, or even business retreats, the house is spacious and allows everyone to either enjoy solitude or have unforgettable group vacations.

When you rent a chalet or house, you help finance this organization’s mission: to restore hope to struggling youth, giving them confidence in their abilities and their future!

Like a resort, the Vallée site features several other houses and chalets, gathering spaces, access to the Jacques-Cartier River, and canoe rentals for your enjoyment. Additionally, there is an adjacent wilderness-style campground. The site is peaceful, ideal for gatherings, exchanges, and unforgettable moments. Every visitor will feel as though they are living outside of time, even if just for a short stay.

Access is easy by car, and you can quickly drive to Old Quebec in 30 minutes. Moreover, you’ll be just a few minutes away from the famous Village Vacances Valcartier, a tourist attraction with an indoor (Bora Parc) and outdoor waterpark in the summer, and tubing in the winter. A few minutes by car will also take you to many resort experiences, such as a day at Le Castor golf course, a visit to the Hôtel de Glace, a rafting adventure, or a day at the magnificent Aroma Spa. The Valcartier military base is also accessible to visitors via Le Castor center.

Please note that this chalet is located near neighbors, and it is essential to respect them. Therefore, events and parties are not allowed at this chalet.

BBQs are available only from May 1st to September 30th.
The river is open for swimming and fishing during the summer.
