Perfect place

Clean, nicely decorated, spacious. Great location, close to some amazing mountain biking centres. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.

Clean and great location for a ski vacation. We were part of a biathlon team competing locally and it was ideal for what we needed.

Spring break at Stoneham

We had a great stay here. The place is as advertised. The owner was quick to respond to a few questions upon check-in. Definitely recommend for a convenient location when skiing at Stoneham.

This property was lovely, a few suggestions: mattress protectors on beds, and the shower door in the laundry room/bathroom did not close. Kitchen and bbq facilities, and hot tub, were wonderful!

Beautiful house in amazing location

Even though it's 30 min away from Quebec we loved the property and everything it had to offer. Beautiful location and the house was perfect for our group of 12. I wish the owner was more responsive to my messages.

No complaints overall, but the place would need some love. Many little things were broken or in bad shape (shower door that needs a hook to be closed, towels hanger that were missing or broken, etc.). Nothing that prevent us to have a good stay, but enough that we would be reluctant to go back.

Area is beautiful. Home is perfect. Everything was quite new and house was well equipped. Only downside was the windows didn’t have screens. Only the patio doors had screens. We had only one hot day and the air conditioner could not cool down the place. Home is equipped with 2 wall air conditioners. Without window screens it’s hard to open windows bc all the bugs were coming in. But other than that, a very comfy house. Dominic was great and quick to respond to questions. Would stay again in cooler months.

Lovely place but with some minor issues

The area is beautiful and the place is lovely. However, there were issues with a slow bath drain, 6 dinner plates for a home that can hold 14 people (we had to buy paper plates as there were 11 of us), some food was left behind in the refrigerator upon arrival, bathroom shower door couldn't stay closed,... Left notification for host, regarding issues, but never received a response.

Stay away from this host and house

There are many better options than this and host is someone you can’t rely on. He doesn’t respond timely, we had to wait for 45 mins to get check-in details. No proactive communication and doesn’t do anything to fix issues. Home is listed with air conditioning but its only 2 units open areas not at all good for hot weather. Bathrooms are really bad: shower door doesn’t close, shower doesn’t function, list goes on and on.

Excellent Property/Owner

Thanks to Dominic, he was professional and very accommodating. The property was beautiful and clean; we really enjoyed our stay and will not hesitate to book with Dominic again. I am only raising this concern because I think it's important for the travelers to know ahead of time. Here is my one issue with both VRBO and Owners - it will be nice for the travelers to know upfront about the curfew. Having said that, Dominic's curfew is more accommodating and realistic (12 midnight) than other Owners. Again, this is not an issue with Dominic, rather with VRBO (you should let travelers know there may be curfew). Good thing for us, we are not a party type, so abiding by a 12 midnight curfew as easy.

Terrible Host

This host is terrible and believes in forfeit your money. I had a genuine medical condition in my family and I was ready to submit proof from the hospital records, Doctors note, but this host never understood my situation. I was supposed to stay in 2nd week of September and I already notified property manager in 3rd week of August but host was not able to listen and came back with the Lame excuse that i missed the deadline for my advance return. It was my hard earned $850 which host never returned to me. I even requested for date change but that was also not entertained by the host. My family could not make it and now this host had my deposit, I called VRBO few times and they also could not do anything in this. I really had a terrible experience dealing with HOST and VRBO.

Le chauffage dans l’espace principal soir salon, cuisine et salle à manger ne fonctionnait pas. Nous avons contacté dès notre arrivée les deux numéros à rejoindre. Le responsable n’est arrivé que le samedi matin vers 11h30, et, malgré tous ses efforts, le chauffage n’a pu être réparé. Le poêle au propane ayant une minuterie, il faisait constamment froid dans le chalet. C’est vraiment un beau chalet, bien organisé, mais c’est inn acceptable cette non réparation de tout le week end. Le monsieur responsable venu sur place était très gentil et poli, mais incapable de régler notre problème. Résultat : on a gêné tout le week end

We stayed in this home for two nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary. What a good choice! The home is very quiet and relaxing. The area is remote…thus the quiet part…but not too far from QC. The hot tub is wonderful. We will gladly stay here again when we return to Quebec.

Très bien dans l'ensemble et vue superbe!

Tout était très bien dans l'ensemble. Le spa n'était pas propre à notre arrivée mais un employé est venu s'en occuper le lendemain et on a pu en profiter. J'ai trouvé que le plancher du sous-sol était un peu collant mais à part ça tout était propre. Il y a eu aussi un problème avec la porte de la douche au rez de chaussée qui n'était pas en bon état et risquait de tomber.
