OFF SEASON SPECIAL thru March. Prices are slashed! “THE DEPOT” located next to the tracks at 202 south 3rd street Guttenberg Iowa. Located in the heart of guttenberg this 1000 sq ft 2 bed 1 bath home is 3 blocks from the river. Extensively insulated and remodeled. Central air, Fully furnished, WiFi, washer and dryer, bean bag boards, outside patio, outdoor covered area with tv, fire pit and grill. There is a golden tee arcade game for kids and adults to enjoy! Living room has seating for 6, master has a pillow top queen bed, 2nd bedroom has 2 pillow top twin beds. Roku TVs in the living room and both bedrooms. Plenty of Parking outside for at least 3 trucks with trailers with an outdoor water hose for cleaning your boat off. This home will not disappoint!

Everything was great and consistent with what was advertised. Home was spacious and clean, very comfortable! Easy check-in, close enough to walk down to the river, and nice outside set-up. If ever in the area again would definitely stay again!

Very Good Choice for a Guttenberg Stay

The property was very clean and stocked with the necessities! Our stay was very comfortable. We have stayed at many rentals in Guttenberg and this has been the cleanest thus far! We would stay again and recommend.

The Depot was adorable!

We really enjoyed staying at The Depot. It was clean, lovely decor and anything you could need was right there at the property! We highly recommend staying at The Depot if you visit Guttenberg!

Memorial Day Weekend

Spent time with family. The Depot was very well refurbished and very comfortable for 3 adults. The trains were nice to us on Saturday but Sunday night they were a little more frequent. Overall great experience.

Updated, clean property

Property is very clean and updated. Nice central location. Very close to train tracks, but you hear them everywhere in Guttenberg so not a big deal. Great communication with owner.

Enjoyed our stay at “The Depot”

We love Guttenburg but this particular trip was for a fishing tournament for our boys. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. It’s in a great location only 3-4 minutes to the river whether you’re using the main boat ramp or the north boat ramp, close to the grocery store, gas stations, restaurants and downtown.. the beds were comfy as was the furniture. No complaints about anything. Some have mentioned the trains which didn’t bother us. We will definitely be staying here again! Thank you for a great stay!

The place was great. My only complaint was the train and train horn. This was mentioned in the listing but something to consider if you have light sleepers!

Sister weekend

Cute little property with ample parking. Updated & very clean. The house had everything we needed. Plus good water pressure in the shower. Beds were comfortable too. The trains were loud but we got used to it by the 2nd night & we could not get internet in the room with twin beds. Overall, a good experience & we would definitely consider staying again.

Convenient location & clean!

Had several options for fun things to do close by. Place was spotless! ONLY complaint (that can't be controlled by the owners anyway) is the train tracks. We decided to stay here even knowing about the tracks but unfortunately we learned we're not the people to sleep through them! Beds were very comfortable and had no problems with cooking all weekend.

Weekend getaway

Everything was exactly as described or pictured. All was very clean and well maintained. The layout and space was very well designed and more than comfortable for the two of us, and easily would have accommodated a family of four. The proximity to the railroad was no big deal. I rather enjoyed the trains that passed. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if we were to return to the area. A big thank you to the host.
