Thinking of the Sea is a beautiful, modern townhome located in the family friendly community of Prominence. This pet friendly home will make the perfect relaxing getaway for your family (or multiple families). The main level includes the open concept kitchen, living and dining areas with laundry and a convenient half bath. Up the stairs you'll find the 3 bedrooms in the home. The kids will love the bunk room!

In the living area curl up on the comfortable sofa to plan the day or catch up on your favorite TV shows. There's even a desk in this main area in case you have to squeeze in a few minutes of remote work.

The kitchen is built for entertaining with the large center island with seating for 4. The chef in the family will be happy to cook up a vacation feast on the gas stovetop with plenty of surrounding counterspace. Enjoy your home cooked meal (or takeout!) on the dining table. Head out on the patio for your morning cup of coffee.

Sleeping Arrangements - 2nd Floor:
Bedroom 1: Twin-over-twin bunk beds, TV.
Bedroom 2: Queen bed, TV.
Bedroom 3: King bed, TV. Private bathroom with large shower and dual vanities
Sofa in the 1st floor living area pulls out to a queen.

Prominence:
With a stay in Prominence, you'll enjoy access to fantastic amenities including a 5,000 sq. ft. resort-style community pool (heated to 80°F from Oct 1–Nov 30, Dec 21–31, and Mar 1–Apr 30), poolside BBQ grills and outdoor dining, and complimentary bikes for exploring 30A. Located just across the street from The Big Chill (formerly The Hub), you’ll have easy access to family-friendly restaurants, boutique shops, a children's play area, and a covered event pavilion for sports games, movie nights, and concerts. Plus, the scenic 30A bike path is only steps away—stretching over 19 miles from Rosemary Beach to Cypress Dunes.

With all the available space and wonderful amenities that the community of Prominence has to offer, you and your guests are sure to have a stay to remember. The neighborhood has two 5,000 sq. ft. pools that include plenty of cabanas and lounge chairs, plus outdoor grills with a dining area located poolside.

(over $800 in nightly value) Tee off at Emerald Bay or Regatta Bay, zip through Baytowne Adventure Zone, and sail on the Sea Blaster Dolphin Cruise. All in all everything went well. We liked property and very peaceful neighborhood. But apartment need deep clean especially for couch and rugs. Communication worked very good with property manager.

Overall great experience ! House was clean and had everything we needed and was a great location! Slight inconvenience that the pool code was not working after multiple attempts to get in and both trash cans were full of trash upon arrival. Again both minor inconveniences and I wouldn’t base them on affecting our stay.

Great place for a Family!

This home exceeded our expectations! We were a little nervous as previous reviews had some concerns with the cleanliness, but the place was perfect! Our kids loved the bunk room and we all enjoyed the amenities of the neighborhood and home. The management company was great to work with and helped us out with questions and even extending our stay as we were having such a good time. 10/10 would stay here again!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Thinking of the Sea was a nice home, the layout was open and spacious for our short stay. One thing we noticed was that it could have definitely had more TLC in the cleanliness department. The living room couch and chairs had alot of stains, the wall paper near the stairs was torn, there were multiple scuff marks on the walls. Also there was only a one half roll of toilet paper, with no back ups. Overall, the location and family friendly activities was great. If the above mentioned were taken care of, we would stay again.

Thinking of the sea

We stayed during the 4th of July week. We had a great trip. House was mostly Clean (could tell the cleaning company hadnt vacuumed throughly) House is decorated cute! Beds were VERY comfortable and outside area around the complex were tidy! If you want a good place to try near blue mountain to eat is the “local catch” great food! We hit “the hub” across the street for ice cream and delicious bbq. We def enjoyed our stay and hope to be back next year!

We had brought a pack and play but found one in a closet, they also had a baby tub which worked well for our 3 month old. My 2 year old loved the new bunk room. Thinking of the sea

The unit is very comfortable. The third bedroom (bunk room) is not suitable for older children or adults, but we made it work when there were guests a few nights. The tv in the main bedroom wouldn’t work but I did not report it to the management company because it wasn’t all that important to me. Love the location.

Great Location!

The location of this property is perfect. So convenient, to the shops and restaurants across the street. The pool is awesome for families, we really enjoyed it. Some negatives unfortunately if I’m being honest…the kitchen is severely ill equipped, and what is there does not meet the caliber of the home. And then the two large area rugs and couch are in need of some serious cleaning. The walls are also pretty beat up and in need of some attention. Over all it’s a great place and we enjoyed ourselves immensely, it just needs some TLC.

Needs a little more emphasis on comfort

Beds were not the best..mattress toppers would do a lot for comfort. Master bedroom top windows have no blinds or curtains that close so sun blares in at sunrise which is not what you want while on vacation. Could use a full length mirror. Otherwise house is great!

Vacation

Hello! This was our second time to stay at this property. It was great. I could tell that the rugs, couch and walls have seen some wear and tear - the couch is stained and rugs look dirty. There was also dirty pots and pans in the cubboards, soda spilled on the cabinents, and an empty coke bottle under the bed. I would suggest finding a new cleaning crew! Thanks!

Had this been brought to our attention during the stay we would have happily offered to send back our cleaners to the unit. Needs some maintenance

We always love staying in Prominence because of the location to everything. The unit could have been cleaned better. The floors were extremely dirty. I had to clean them when we checked it. The pots were dirty as well and they left towels in washer and dryer. The master rug and couch could use some cleaning. The beds were comfortable and the decor was cute.

Beautiful Property, Great Location!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Fantastic stay for my family and my dog. It was a short walk to the hub across the street and then about a 5 min drive to the beach. House was very cutely decorated and clean. The only negative experience I had was with the early check-in process. It was very frustrating by not getting a call back about early check-in and then had to wait till 2pm for the management company to say we weren't able to. Besides that, it was a great trip.

Beautiful home in great neighborhood!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful vacation staying in Prominence. This was our fifth year staying in this area but first time in this home. The home itself is spacious, great location and good for families with kids! The only negatives we had is the kitchen didn’t have much to use for cooking like pans, utensils for cooking etc. And the overall condition of the home showed signs of wear and tear, dirty walls and floors and dirty couch. That needs to be addressed. But overall we were happy with the location and spacious rooms.

Relax time needed

The overall property was great for our group. Very disappointed to find the pull out couch cover had stains. The floor under the pull out area had trash and dust. The washing machine stained a pair of shorts with what looked like rust stains. The door knobs to the master closet were broken and the garbage disposal needed attention. I will say once it was reported the maintence part of the issues were fixed the same day.

Great Location and Cute Property but needs work on Cleanliness

The location of this house was fabulous and the house itself was so cute but unfortunately it was not clean in some areas. The bathrooms were clean but the floors throughout the entire house were absolutely filthy. We had to wear shoes the entire time we were inside because the floors were turning our feet black. There were dirty glasses put back in the cabinets in the kitchen and the rugs were absolutely filthy and sticky…. As well as the couch! I do recommend this property because overall we enjoyed our stay but they really need to step it up with the cleaning. There are tons of reviews about the cleanliness of this property.

Not our favorite stay on 30a

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was well decorated but bare bones. It was spacious and comfortable (except for the couch and chairs in living room). The kitchen has minimal equipment and no extras (salt & pepper were nowhere to be found and cooking a spaghetti dinner proved challenging with lack of equipment). The location was ideal, close to the pool and right across the street from the big chill. Beds were soft but comfortable. We did have a few minor inconveniences with a clogged toilet and broken bed frame in master bedroom. The bed frame was met with much more urgency than the plumbing issue (which we resolved ourselves) by the management team. The unit was fairly clean, but the floors were not mopped and left your feet dirty if walking barefoot.

Great but needs improvements

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. Very spacious and had pretty much everything we needed. Only thing I felt was lacking was hand soap downstairs- none for the kitchen or half bathroom. I also saw the other complaints about the dirty floors- unfortunately this is true. They clearly don’t mop the floors and the rugs are absolutely filthy. Our feet were black anytime we walked around the house. Downstairs furniture could also use an upgrade- you could tell the couch was worn and dirty and the two arm chairs are super stiff and uncomfortable. Kitchen was sufficient for what we needed for the week, but it comes with zero essentials like oil, salt and pepper, etc. so just be prepared for that. I loved that the unit was walking distance to the pool and Big Chill. Fantastic location. I would definitely stay here again, but it definitely needs some easy improvements.
