Get ready for the trip of a lifetime when you plan to stay at A Peaceful Retreat Whispering Pines 622! Located in downtown Pigeon Forge, this gorgeous second-story, two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo is the perfect place from which to enjoy the Smokies. The Whispering Pines resort boasts an indoor and outdoor pool with hot tubs, a lazy river, a fitness center and a picnic area!

A luxury condo filled with charm and style, A Peaceful Retreat Whispering Pines 622 was newly-renovated in May 2026 and combines comfort with elegance. After a day's adventuring at Dollywood, put on the seasonal gas fireplace and curl up in one of the living room's comfortable furnishings to enjoy a DVD on the large cable TV. The sofa converts to a bed for two guests to use. Don’t forget to post your amazing vacation photos on your social media pages courtesy of the free Wi-Fi. The stylish kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances, gadgets, cookware and dinnerware you'll need to prepare anything from a lavish meal to warmed-up leftovers. After dinner, take a glass of wine out to the private covered balcony to take in a mountain sunset.

With room to accommodate four people, A Peaceful Retreat Whispering Pines 622's two beautifully decorated bedrooms are both furnished with in-room flat-screen TVs, nightstands with reading lamps and lots of little homelike touches. The primary bedroom features a king bed, a twin bed with a twin trundle, and an en-suite bathroom complete with a walk-in shower, while the second bedroom houses both a queen and twin bed and is just steps away from the full-size hallway bathroom, featuring the tub/shower combo. Both bathrooms are stocked with plenty of fresh, fluffy towels, and all bedding is provided. There are even a washer and dryer so you can leave room in your luggage for souvenirs!

The hot tub was awsome where i had knee replacement surgery 7 weeks ago. The family enjoyed the pool also. It wasnt crowded and it was very clean.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was clean and met our needs. The location is super convenient and we love the pool and lazy river. This time we rented from a company and had to keep up with keys. Last year we had a key code which I much prefer. With the keys we had to check in and out. The Wi-Fi was very slow during the day and was not password protected. The rental company had me call three technical support guy who said it was because of an android update. He never added the password while we were there (8 days). I worked some so that was disappointing. Communication through vrbo was slow on the management company side.

Some of the units at Whispering Pines do use a different rental company which may use door codes, so we are sorry that you were not happy with having to use keys this time around, but that is the way most of the units at Whispering Pines came, with regular door locks. We do also want to sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced with the wifi. The reason we gave you our internet provider's phone number is because they can go into each unit individually and find out why they may not be receiving signal. We are very surprised to be hearing that they were unable to help you as that is not the norm and I will make sure this is passed along to our management team and again, we do apologize for this. We are not actually affiliated with VRBO, so I do apologize if communication wasn't up to par, we always recommend booking directly through us so you can speak with the actual staff at the property. We hope that you'll give us another try and stay with us again the next time you're visiting our beautiful area!

Ok Stay

We found the property to be just like the pictures and so in this manner we were pleased. However, we had two problems overall with our stay. The first is that the bedding for the master bed and the pullout couch was very uncomfortable. It is probably time for the mattress in the master to be changed which would lead to a more comfortable night's rest. The second issue we faced was with safety. The condo beneath us was broken into while we were vacationing there. The location of the condo is convenient to areas of Pigeon Forge, such as Dollywood and is affordable. However, the area has transient activity and the condos do not seem to be very private and makes them susceptible to crime. It was hard for us to feel safe after learning of the break-in right below us.

Great condo but noisy!

The condo is very spacious, clean, convenient location with a nice patio area on the back. We had to request sheets for the sofa bed as they were not provided but they brought them promptly. The only negative thing I can say for those looking at the condo is it is not insulated very well, therefore, it is extremely noisy. We heard a washing machine running (I could tell which cycle it was on), someone vacuuming, dining room chairs moving around constantly, a baby crying at 4am and a conversation between a little girl and her dad also very early in the morning (beside us not above). If you are a light sleeper, I would not recommend this unit without earplugs. I realize this is not unit owners fault, I just felt the need to leave an honest review.

Wonderful long weekend

Only issue we had the entire week was the smoke alarm kept going off in the master bedroom during the night so we called the front desk but maintenance never came to fix it.

Perfect property!

This condo was perfect for a getaway! It was a wonderful location and clean! The only thing I could possibly say is our unit could have used some modern updating with the decor! Other than that it was PERFECT! Checkout was a little messy as the front desk girl got an attitude when I said we had only been given one key to the condo and she told me I would have to pay for the lost key ($25) I never got! I am not a child and I feel like if I was given two separate keys to the property I would have kept up with those items! However, the stay was awesome!! We would definitely stay here again!

Sweet view of the mountains and a little cabin! The master bedroom has a bed that is up on blocks. ( high bed) The bathroom has a powerful shower nozzle that goes into a huge jetted bathtub! Nice kitchen and dining room table and family room. Spacious- all around! The only thing I would change is to add plllow top to mattress of the bed. The pool was nice as well as lazy river! Not crowded! Thank you for a great stay!

The beds were company. The patio furniture was perfect to eat out there or read a book. Could use updated and more kitchen equipment. More knives and serving utensils. A Keurig would be a nice addition. The pool and lazy river need their floors redone. We had many kids with bloody toes from the bottoms.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo was nice and cleanCheck in was easy this unit is not for people tha have a hard time walking to use elevator one must walk up or down stairs to get to it

Spring break

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved this condo, only issue we had was there was o basic kitchen spices. WE also have at least salt,pepper, etc in kitchen. We had to go buy everything including paper towels and toilet paper. Neverhad this happen with vrbo. Office staff was incredible and condo was very comfortable.

We do no provide salt, pepper or spices due to the possibility of someone putting other substances in the containers, we do this for guest safety. As a condo resort, we do provide starters for your stay however we do ask that you supply the remaining items needed for your stay. We appreciate your kind comments regarding our staff. Rod Run Birthday Surprise for Hubby

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was of course another great stay. We normally stay @ Bear Crossing, but none available when we called. We enjoy Whispering Pines, just sort of out of the way. We like in town, being able to walk everywhere. Whispering Pines is little further out but still a great place to stay.
