Charming Modern Home - close to Downtown East Side
This is a perfect home for any Austin amazing adventure! SXSW, ACL, F1, MotoGP, UT Longhorn football, baseball games and graduations, dive bars, conventions, live music, exploring the amazing art scene and all of the best food, BBQ (Franklin's BBQ is just a few blocks from the property), extensive food trucks. Rainey Street is about a mile from the property and is lined with eateries and bars.

The space:

Welcome Austin visitors. Our modern home is located in a perfect spot on the East side of Austin and offers the city’s most eclectic vibe, with quick access to downtown either walking, biking, via ride sharing companies (Uber & Lyft), car2go or a pedicab.
Our modern style home is cozy, spacious, open, comfortable, and extremely clean. You'll be enjoying 4 rooms ALL upstairs with access to a private 3 full bathrooms. We offer high speed Wi-Fi, living areas, kitchen, dining room, feel free to enjoy the amazing lounging space to relax and recover.
We are situated on a quiet neighborhood with large trees and tons of character but is close downtown, to University of Texas, the State Capitol, Dell Children's Hospital, Mueller trails, shopping, town lake, food trucks and more. Very easy access to several main highways (IH-35, US 290, US 183).
The kitchen is equipped with all the essential kitchen tools, so you can enjoy preparing a meal for your family/friends.

Guest access:

Our house offers clean linens and towels, washer and dryer, office space, wine cellar for storing your libations, entertainment, huge backyard, iron, hair dryer, charging strip, coffee and tea station, (coffee and bottle waters). Private bath, dining room, kitchen, and living areas. Plenty of street parking available.
Enjoy the full use of our space and feel at home. Feel free to use our WI-FI for your enjoyment and spend some time working from home. Ample parking space in front of the house or street parking and you're always just a step away from going downtown on a whim.

Other things to note
Perfectly located for any special event or just to visit and explore. 1 mile from UT and the new Dell teaching hospital. 1.3 miles to the heart of downtown. Easy freeway access and just 10 minutes to the airport. So convenient!
We are 1.2 miles to famous 6th street or a 2 minute cab or ride share from anything downtown has to offer. We are also less than a 100 feet from public transportation. May new retail shops and restaurants across 12th street and a local convenience store is next door.

Great location to be able to walk downtown. Close to plenty of restaurants. Host was great, made sure we had plenty of coffee and that everything was comfortable for us. Would highly recommend for anyone visiting Austin!

Fantastic VRBO in central Austin

This property is in great location and well-appointed with an open floor plan with lots of room. The owner is very accommodating and helpful. We were in town for graduation, and it was the perfect place to rent with our family. I also loved the parking situation and how close you could park to the unit. We will definitely rent it again!

Perfect Weekend in Austin

We rented this for a football weekend as a group of college friends coming from all over the country for an away game in Austin. The place was located for easy Ubers, it was spacious and clean. It was some much better than a hotel! Julien was helpful and respectful. Overall we would use this property again and again when coming to Austin.

Ideal Location!

You can not beat the location if you want to be near the UT and downtown. We could have walked to a lot of the places but had a van or took UBER. The house was one of the cleanest places I have stayed and would definitely come back. Julian was very accommodating with our early check in and check out times. The furniture, beds, linens were very comfortable. AC, gas stove and instant hot water heater was great! All the comforts of home!

Beautiful clean comfortable house

We had a good stay. Julian was a perfect host. The only surprise——and perhaps I did not read carefully enough—was that you have to go through the twin room to get from one of the queen rooms to the hallway or the upstairs bathroom. Otherwise, we were very comfortable. Great location, lots within walking distance. Indoor air quality was excellent, important for me because I am sensitive to mold. Thanks, Julian!

Austin Bachelorette weekend

Julian and the house were great

Julian the host was more than fantastic. The best host we have ever had. Great communication, was out daily cleaning the property. The house was the cleanest I have ever stayed in. No dust, dirt or mess at all. I highly recommend this home and host.

This is the place to stay in Austin!

Great property! There were five of us celebrating a birthday. Julian was the perfect host. He was accommodating, communicated well and checked in via VRBO messaging during our stay to ensure all was well. The property exceeded the listing details. The beds are comfortable, it’s well equipped and very spacious. We felt safe. It’s close to downtown and several popular local spots. As others have mentioned, Quickie Pickie, Rockstar Bagels and Squeeze are all must visits. Having such a comfortable spot to relax after exploring during the day made our celebration all the more fantastic. We would most definitely stay here again.

Modern, Elegant, and Very Comfortable

This house is absolutely beautiful. 1 parking spot is available on the property. Kitchen has all the amenities. Beds are comfortable. Bathroom and very clean. Julian the host lives on the property and is always available should you need anything. He takes good care of the house and excellent care of the guests. Thank you Julian, had a great time in Austin!

Awesome place

Julian was an incredible and helpful host. He accommodated anything we needed and went above and beyond for our group. The photos definitely do not do this property justice- it is extremely large and has plenty of space for a larger group. Julian left snacks and gave us a tour of the home and made our stay extremely pleasant.

Very Accommodating

Great house with lots of space. The host was very accommodating and accessible. He provided toiletries, some food items, and water. The house is very close to so many ways Austin attractions and was great for our group of 9. We were able to fit four cars on the gravel lot in front of the house with some very fine puzzle skills. I highly recommend!

Perfect rental!

Texas Welcome in Austin Style

Spacious and comfortable house in a contemporary, industrial design with top amenities. Julian was very welcoming and made us feel right at home. Proximity to downtown Austin was a plus, as well as off-street parking. Would happily stay here again!

Weekend Getaway with Friends

I had a group of 7 friends (3 couples plus one extra, all late 20's) stay over labor day weekend as a get away trip. We were all very impressed with the decor, the cleanliness and the quality of the home. We fit two couples in the two main rooms, and one couple had to split up into the double beds and the extra on the bunk beds. Despite everyone sleeping on the 2nd floor it still felt very roomy! The bathroom/shower on the first floor was a big help in letting many people shower at one time. There are two parking spaces in the gravel yard in front of the property. Perfect for us since we had two cars! The garage isn't available for guest use. Highlights: The style of the home is even better in person, and all equipment in the home is top quality. Johana herself is also a major highlight, she is responsive and very accommodating. There was a delay on the shipment of shampoo/conditioner so we got there before the shipment. Johana delivered us some shampoo and conditioner herself to ensure that we had some for our stay. We really appreciated that!
