Welcome to Latitude Adjustment, hosted by Simple Life Rentals. Come enjoy your next weekend getaway here! This home is conveniently located on one of the best recreational lakes that Door County has to offer. Explore the lake with the paddle boat or canoe, or just enjoy time relaxing by the fire pit. This property has 2 bedrooms and can host a maximum of 6 people.

Property Features:
+ Waterfront on Clark Lake
+ Paddle boat, canoes, and life jackets for guest use
+ Fire pit: 2 fire pits along the shoreline to share with others in the condo association
+ Charcoal grill – please bring charcoal and lighter fluid
+ Wi-Fi Internet (due to the rural nature of Door County, WIFI and cell phone coverage and service can vary)
+ Smart TV with DVD player in living room
+ Heat and AC
+ Washer and dryer
+ Fully equipped kitchen (see below)
+ Traditional drip coffee maker

Water Access:
+ Great swimming for all!
+ Rock wall shoreline with sandy bottom
+ Dock for easy water access (water level is about 1-4 feet at end of dock depending on water level)
+ Dock installed seasonally, dates fluctuate typically between Memorial Day and Labor Day
+ Guests can bring a boat with prior approval

Bedroom 1 – Queen bed, ceiling fan
Bedroom 2 – 2 sets of bunk beds
Sleeps: 6
There is a 6 person maximum, this includes overnight guests and day guests. This is a bylaw of the condo association and must be followed.

Fridge, freezer, stove, oven, microwave, toaster
Pots, pans, utensils, dishware, and glassware
No dishwasher

Bathroom:
Walk-in shower, toilet and sink

Surrounding Area:
Clark Lake is the primary recreational lake in Door County providing great fishing, skiing, tubing and boating. Our cottage is located down the road from White Dunes State Park and Cave point County Park.

Our favorite place to eat is at Wild Tomato in Fish Creek for the wood fired pizza!

A must is to hike Peninsula State Park. Also, a great day trip is taking the ferry across Death’s Door to explore Washington Island.

Amenity + damage protection waiver includes:
-Bed linens, pillows, blankets, and bathroom towels. (Please bring your own beach towels)
-A starter pack of essentials which includes toilet paper, paper towel, dish soap, dishwasher soap, hand soap, and garbage bags. Due to septic systems, we do not provide facial tissue. One each of travel size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash per full bathroom.
-PEACE OF MIND Damage protection covers up to $1000 per stay for accidental damage that is reported prior to departure (excludes any pet damage).

Home Truths:
This home is located in a quiet community with neighbors and is geared towards quiet family vacations. Due to the proximity of neighbors, we cannot accommodate parties at the property including bachelor or bachelorette parties, reunions, or other rowdy gatherings.

Lovely little cabin, however sulfur smell in water never went away. Nauseating. Very hard to get in water due to barriers. Too much duck poo and no rake to do away with it. Too much per night for what you had to put up with.

Very peaceful and relaxing. However I was disappointed that goose was not picked up prior to arrival.....it was a huge turn off as it was in grass before getting into lake. Also, way too many rocks in the shallow. in lske

Some improvement needed.

Classic Door County cottage, clean and attractive inside and out. Several issues however. The dock picture which was our number one is not what we had. There were 4 boats on it pretty much blocking the lake and sunset view. The kitchen needs some improvement. No liquid measure cups or tablespoon. First place we stayed that had no shot glass. The skillets were awful, everything we cooked stuck All the dishes are plastic and quite cheap. The only way to turn on the light and fan in the main bedroom is to kneel on the bed. A little awkward for a 70 year old. Probably would come again but with some more kitchenware.

Amazing beauty

This home and experience was incredible and gave my family the most positive long lasting memories. Both my elder parents and teen kids loved it. We never needed to leave our space because this home itself gave us everything we needed for bonding and enjoyment. The most relaxing and fun vacation ever. Thank you for making this available.

Stay at the "Latitude adjustment" in Door county

This property's location is stunning. The serene view of Clarke Lake with beautiful fall colors in the back drop, and absolute calmness and quietness of the atmosphere made our stay an unforgettable one.

Incredible sunsets

We stayed her for our honeymoon and it was the perfect location. Sunsets are beautiful and the flock of sandhill cranes are wild! A great jumping off point for exploring door county.

Relaxing Getaway!

We had a nice anniversary getaway. Our first trip to a Door County didn’t disappoint! Beautiful fall colors and lots to explore! PROS: The cabin was very clean and well-stocked. The views, especially sunsets, were gorgeous! Also, we loved the inclusion of kayaks and a canoe. CONS: We were looking for a private area so the pictures are a little deceiving. There are houses close on each side and with no curtains in the living room, there wasn’t a lot of privacy. The shower also is very small, so it’s a tight fit for adults. HOWEVER, we enjoyed our stay and were able to relax and enjoy the quiet. We spent a few evenings relaxing by the fire pit. We recommend this property for younger families looking for a fun trip with kids.

Peaceful getaway!

Clark Lake is where my love of the outdoors began as a child. It was so nice to get back and relive memories and unwind with hiking, fishing and kayaking! The cooler weather lead to cozy memories!

Clark Lake Cabin beauty

Very nice cabin on Clark Lake, right on the lake at level ground. Small, clean accommodation. We would highly recommend for couples or small families. Close to the things we wanted to do including trolley wine tour and visiting some of the small towns.

Cute cabin

We loved the location of this cabin. Being right on clark lake was amazing! We used the kayaks that were provided for a morning outing on the lake and the kids enjoyed swimming right off the dock. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Perfect quaint cottage getaway

The cottage was the perfect size for our family. The views of the lake was spectacular! We enjoyed all the lake activities. It was also in close proximity to parks and other tourist areas.

Relaxing Getaway

The property was wonderful. The lake view was amazing. Being able to use the canoe and kayaks was a bonus. It was nice having a dock to fish from, and we were able to catch perch and sunfish from the dock.

Great Property

Located on the quieter side of Door County yet just a short drive to the busy side. We loved the hike at Cave Point and the beautiful setting of Lake Clark.

Friend reunion

We had a reunion for our friends.. tye place much smaller than it looks in the pictures.. the bunk beds were too cramped .. I just chose for location.. unfortunately it was very cold and we lost power .. you can’t use toilet when that happens .. which is very difficult when you are there with multiple people. I should have looked for a place with little more space .. in the bathroom as well .

Great lakeside cabin

We had a great time in Door County and it was made even because of where we stayed. 5 of us girls were able to fit comfortable in this house. The location was great, away from the noise, tucked into the forest and lake side. A true lakeside property. Thank you!

Quaint and Quiet Retreat
