The beach cottage was perfect for what we were looking for: a beach cottage where we could spend incredible family time. I stayed with my teenaged sons and mom and we enjoyed every minute at the cottage. It’s located near kayaking, hiking, horseback riding, beaches. We did most of our meals at the cottage. We grilled outside, watched movies inside. The lake views from the cottage are breathtaking. We will long and fondly remember this trip.

Everything was great. Great location to explore Door County. Small cabin, but space was maximized. Great view of Lake Michigan in the back yard (could be better if weed trees were removed). Would stay here again. Thanks for sharing your cabin!

Nice house, great location. It is easy to get to all places in the northern part of Door County and also a quick drive down to Sturgeon Bay for groceries, etc. The house is nice, well stocked with extra towels and linens, kitchen essentials and even herbs and spices. The owners were helpful and responsive to questions. Setting is gorgeous and private. We sat on deck and drank our morning coffee while watching the sun come up over the lake. Peaceful. Two possible considerations for some travelers. You navigate the house on a narrow and steep set of stairs. I’m in my sixties and it was no problem, but could be for some folks. It also has a bit of a musty smell; that’s very common for lake homes, but worth noting. We very much enjoyed our stay.

We are both architects from Milwaukee and love coming to Door County. We hope you can book the place because we love coming here as much as possible. When we are not here, we open it up to our family and friends. You can always get ahold of us and we are very responsive, and have family and friends in the area. We know you will love our place and will want to come back for a relaxing stay.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

We have been coming to Door County for years. Early in our careers we rented places through VRBO, eventually our friends and family started to move to Door County. We tried for years to find a place and through an extensive search we found the perfect spot. We love this house because of its unique landscape. The land is technically classified as being in an ecological heritage zone, and is minutes away from the famous Cave Point County Park! Our property is larger than it looks, and the house is essentially built into a rock cliff. The design is a mix of old and new. We furnished the house with all new furniture. The stars are typically very bright on this side of the lake and the campfire is soothing. The place is truly one of a kind.

この宿泊施設の特徴

Have coffee out on the deck and watch the sunrise in the morning while swinging on our porch swing. Take a trip down to the lake and walk to Jacksonport! Lake Shore Road and Cave Point Road are know for biking and are on scenic tours. There are many awesome parks in the area. Jacksonport has some excellent kayak rentals as well.
