This Cottage is perfect for 2! One bedroom one bath Cottage. River front property with beautiful views of the cliff. Fall River is a spring fed river that flows through Hot springs, Evans Plunge and empties into the Cheyenne river. Sit on the deck and enjoy the sounds of nature! Perfect getaway for 2. Snuggled along the Fall River beneath the red cliffs of Fall River county. It has a Carport for parking, garden path to the cottage & beautiful views. This cozy cottage has 1 bathroom with shower, 1 bedroom and an open living room & Kitchen layout. The deck is equipped with 2 rocking chairs for you to enjoy the views and sounds of nature. Downtown Hot Springs is only 3 miles. There you can shop our unique little shops or walk the Freedom Trail through town to view all the sandstone buildings our town is known for.

Stop looking for your place to stay in Hot Springs! This is it! Great place to rest your mind and body. Very comfy and homy. My dog is never really comfortable away from the house but he took to this place like he was home. Owners are very accommodating if you have any requests. Also a must for my wife and possibly yours....This place was very clean and my wife is a professional home cleaner. I would suggest this stay to anyone asking. Thanks again for a home away from home!!

This cottage was adorable and so relaxing. It had everything we needed, was in a quiet setting off the highway and everything was kept up very nicely. We’d come back again for sure!

This place is a gem. Tucked back from the road and other properties-A perfect couples cabin that is clean and modern with just enough charm.The natural beauty can't be captured in words because there is a river in the backyard framed by mesmerizing red rock cliffs. A cup of coffee on the deck with the gas fire burning was pure heaven. The cabin is stocked with everything you can think of and we enjoyed 2 nights of meals made in the kitchen and on the grill. We easily visited Wind Cave and Custer. My only wish is for a larger more comfortable bed.

It is very cozy and relaxing. Sitting on the deck you listen to the Fall River flowing, and watch the turkeys and deer come into the yard. It is centrally located to many attractions in the area. I highly recommend staying here, you won’t be disappointed.

This is our second stay at C&D's cottage. We were here last year around the same time, and as soon as we left we had already decided to come back! We travel cross-country on a motorcycle and this place is one of our favorites. We love riding in the Black Hills/Custer area and coming back to the cottage after a long day of riding is just what we need. Sitting on the back deck listening to the birds and the river is so relaxing. This year we were treated to nightly visits by a group of turkeys who like to roost in the trees. Just an awesome place all the way around. We will be back! Thank you Janice and Jarvis for hosting us again.

This is a quiet and relaxing place to stay. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay and the cookies! The back deck was the best part as so many other reviewers have stated. Clean, quiet, cool, cozy, relaxing, what more could anyone ask?

Beautiful Setting

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful setting. So convenient to explore the Black Hills and Fairburn area.Cottage was well stocked and clean.We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again if in the area.

Stunning, tranquil and everything you need - close to all the things you want to see. The cottage is clean, completely stocked and has lots of thoughtful touches for comfort. We will absolutely stay again if we come back this way.

Great Stay

This was the perfect cottage for our stay in Hot Springs. Adorable cottage with all the amenities. Jan and Jarvis are great hosts. We have plans to ultimately build a house in the area, and Jarvis was so so kind to offer advice for us. We can’t wait to come back and stay here again.

winter get a way

It was perfect for two people. Very clean and cozy. It seemed private, even though the owner lived right next to the cottage. It was next to a busy road too, but the sound of traffic wasn't really noticeable. The cottage sits below the level of the road with a beautiful deck facing the small creek and stone bluff. We would love to go back.

20+day stay - explored everything!

We stayed in this adorable cottage for 20+ days as part of a 6month road trip and we had such a wonderful time. We explored everywhere possible and it was so nice to come home to a cozy, well appointed cottage by a river. The property is situated well off the road with the creek running through the level backyard, perfect for hanging out with your family. Our dog loved it! Keep your pups on leash though.. we were surprised many times by wildlife right in the yard! While there are great activities relativity nearby (Wind Cave NP, Moccasin Mineral Springs, The Mammoth Site), many of the other things you come to see near rapid city will be at least an hour away. The drive is worn out though, as we saw Buffalo daily. The hosts are incredibly kind and can answer any quotations you have. If you choose to stay here, check out the steam coming off the creek in the morning.. it's part of the mineral springs system and was warm in the 30 degree mornings. I would stay here again!

Amazing time

Our stay was wonderful. The place more than met our expectations. Very clean and up to date. The deck overlooking the bumbling brook was amazing. One of the most relaxing trips we have taken. I highly recommend this property. We met the owners. Wonder kind couple. We will return another time.
