We are a passionate, adventure-loving family who discovered North Captiva by serendipity during our first visit in 2017 — and we instantly fell in love with the island. Since then, it has become a cherished part of our lives and family traditions.
While my husband works as a landscape contractor in Michigan, I proudly serve as a pediatric RN at the University of Michigan. Together, we balance our careers with our greatest joy — time spent with our family of five children (ages 15 to 36), three sons-in-law, one daughter-in-law, and four grandchildren. Traveling together has been the foundation of our best memories.
We are deeply committed to preserving the beauty and uniqueness of North Captiva. We support island conservation and community efforts, including educational signage, infrastructure improvements, and sustainable beach access projects to help protect this special place for future generations.
