This Hale Kai O’ Kihei condo offers a breathtaking ocean view from every room and includes a private lanai that lets you enjoy the ocean’s many moods ranging from a tranquil sunrise to a glorious sunset. Your Maui vacation will be even more enjoyable when you take advantage of the oceanfront pool. The bocce ball area, shuffleboard, and barbecue facility will enhance your outdoor activities, while the beautifully furnished condo, featuring a kitchen, air conditioning, a telephone, free WiFi, cable TV, and a complimentary in-suite safe, will make your stay super comfortable. You'll even have laundry facilities conveniently located on the property, so you can afford to pack light for your trip! The atmosphere of Hale Kai O’ Kihei seems a world apart but it is within walking distance of Azeka Mall, with great shopping and dining options, as well as the post office. Excellent restaurants, tennis courts, gyms, and Maui’s world-class golf courses are also easily accessible. When you stay in this delightful condo, you’ll have everything you need for an amazing Hawaii vacation.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

The place is very nice. The lanai was wonderful and the place was well stocked for cooking and it was really nice to be able to walk down a flight of stairs and be at the beach. This part of Maui has wonderful sunsets and access to many local food establishments.

Amazing stay!!

The view was spectacular, beds comfortable, and closets stacked with extras we appreciated like beach chairs and blankets we used for the sunrise mountain excursion.

We lived for 5 nights, the apartments are perfectly equipped - there is everything you need for a short vacation. Through the windows you can admire the views of nature - the sea, surrounding islands, the beach - a few steps away.the location of the apartments is very convenient - the shopping center is just 10 minutes walk away.

Maui Oasis - Well-Stocked, Comfy, and Perfectly Located

Our first stay at Maui was an absolute blast! The place had stunning ocean views, super clean and comfy beds, and everything you could ever need. It was right on the beach, so we could go for walks and check out the shops, restaurants, cafes, and food trucks. It was well-stocked and well-maintained, even though it looked a bit older on the outside. But inside, it was a lovely place to relax and enjoy the view. It was just the right size for our family of three with two bedrooms with attached baths.

Amazing family beach vacation

Excellent property. Perfect location, on the beach with a great view. Close to shops, cafes , restaurants and food trucks. Super clean and family friendly. Two bedrooms and bathrooms are perfect for us a family with a teen. Highly recommended.

The ocean view was excellent. Property was clean and had extras to make our stay easy (coffee filters, boogie board, beach chairs, etc). Saw turtles on the beach too. Our family would definitely stay here again. Rental agency was responsive and took care of our needs.

Great spot, excellent price point!

First time we have stayed in Kihei and this place did not disappoint. Beautiful views, clean and comfortable beds, all the extras you could want. Quiet and perfectly situated on ocean front beach. Honu’s everywhere! Icing on the cake would be a rice cooker ;-). Love this spot and would definitely stay again.

We keep going back!

I have stayed in this lovely place five times.The beauty of this place is the location: right on the ocean within walking distance of many restuarants and services. This is a lovely, small, quiet 3-story property with an exceptional view. Our lanai provided views of whales and, with a short walk on the beach, you'll find turtles that come to rest at night. Hale Kai O Kihei is a wonderful, low-key paradise.

37 years to get here!

The house is exactly what you see in the pictures. Everything was extremely clean, well stocked, and very relaxing AND had A/C in all rooms. The view, location and lanai was just perfect for sunrises and sunsets. Close to everything and a very peaceful, clean and quiet complex. Couldn't ask for better accommodations. Was just perfect!

Wonderful Stay

This was our second trip to HKOK, but our first in this unit and it was wonderful. The condo is bright, clean and well stocked with everything we needed to enjoy our vacation. The location and views cant be beat. The condo unti and the complex ammenities left us wanting for nothing! We cant wait to return

We have been to Maui a few times, but this was our first time in this condo. Amazing location, spotless, everything that we need (and more!). We will be back for sure and I would recommend everyone to stay here!

Property was pretty great with ideal location, quiet & relaxing vibe, and updated condo. Well supplied and well taken care of. It looks older from the exterior, but it was a very nice upon entering and seeing the view. It was ideal in every way for our family of 4. I would stay here again.

Magical

We really loved our stay at the property. When we first drove in we were a little concerned with the neighborhood with the homeless but after we were there a couple days we realized it was safe. We didn’t let our teen girls out at night by themselves but they didn’t need to really. The property was exactly like the pics. And the beach was AMAZING! So glad we picked that property. The only thing was the door didn’t seal great and little friends came in at night.

Disappointed with VACASA

The place was beautiful and tranquil with exception of MAJOR construction in unit above. We had to vacate one afternoon due to jack hammering. Other days were tolerable but still loud. Last day water poured through our bathroom ceiling. VACASA never notified us if any construction. The place is amazing in a more cultural neighborhood and is exactly as described. I hope the owners are alerted!

Excellent stay! 5 stars all the way!

This is one of the BEST rentals in which I’ve ever stayed. Everything was perfect…from the amenities to the welcome package to the cleanliness and that VIEW! You can tell the owners really take pride in the property and the comfort of their guests and it shows. We used this property as a transition point in the middle of our vacation from one side of the island to another; but after staying here, I wish we had just spent the rest of the trip here! The view was gorgeous, awesome sunsets, loved having the private beach area right outside. It was such a treat seeing all the turtles at sunset too. I can’t say enough good about this property. You won’t regret staying here. We will be back!!! Thank you!!!!

Nice Beach Location

Clean, great location on the beach. Property is not in a great area of town, but the beach is gorgeous. Lots of turtles on shore at night. Not great for swimming. Condo was very clean and nicely updated. Also well-stocked, although the beach chairs are broken so we couldn’t use them.

Perfection!

This unit has been remodeled with a lovely well stocked kitchen and nice bathrooms with walk in showers. Really nice to have two full bathrooms with the 2 bedrooms. Fully stocked kitchen with plenty of dishes and glasses etc. Nice bedding and linens. Lots of built in storage in bedrooms. The view is fabulous, the grounds are well kept and the beach is clean and sandy. Convenient 5 minute walk to several good restaurants, a grocery store, and urgent care (which we needed and was a good experience). This particular unit is really a gem!
