Your Maui vacation will be even more enjoyable when you take advantage of the oceanfront pool. The bocce ball area, shuffleboard, and barbecue facility will enhance your outdoor activities, while the beautifully furnished condo, featuring a kitchen, air conditioning, a telephone, free WiFi, cable TV, and a complimentary in-suite safe, will make your stay super comfortable. You'll even have laundry facilities conveniently located on the property, so you can afford to pack light for your trip! The atmosphere of Hale Kai O’ Kihei seems a world apart but it is within walking distance of Azeka Mall, with great shopping and dining options, as well as the post office. Excellent restaurants, tennis courts, gyms, and Maui’s world-class golf courses are also easily accessible. When you stay in this delightful condo, you’ll have everything you need for an amazing Hawaii vacation.

Place was very clean. View was amazing and a great place to see sunset. Within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Overall very pleased with our stay!

Everything looks exactly like the photos. Room was clean when we arrived, AC was great, kitchen had most of everything we needed, and the views off the balcony were absolutely stunning. We watched the sunset from the porch every night! Beach access is directly behind the condo on first floor. Pool was great to cool off! We loved it! Highly recommend and would 100% come stay again.

Comfortable condo with amazing view

We loved our time in Maui. The condo was well equipped with an amazing view. We appreciated the beach chairs and towels. The kitchen was well stocked but dated - the cabinets weren’t in the best shape and there is no dishwasher - not a reason to not book, just an FYI to set expectations. We had a fabulous couple of days, wish we could have stayed longer. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Stay

This condo was amazing, and just the right size for my friend and I. The view is amazing, we watched whales breech each morning from the balcony. The amenities in the condo made it feel like home, and the location was quiet, but still close to shops and dining. The pool is lovely, and the property is very clean and well maintained. The beach was not crowded and it was nice to be able to relax, while being steps from the condo. I would stay at this condo again and hope to return soon! Thank you!

Great Location! Great Beach! Quiet Condo!

We have stayed at Hale Kai O’Kihei twice now. This unit had everything we needed, although a little dated. It was perfectly functional and well kept. Beautiful views of the sunsets and walking the beach to see the turtles was our favorite part. We were able to spot whales from our lanai with the binoculars left in the room. Thank you for a wonderful place to be. We will be back again!

Location!!

We spent 8 days in this beach front condo and loved every second of it. The condo’s patio opens up to an incredible view of the ocean. The grounds in front are nicely kept with sweeping palms adding to the beauty of the ocean view and warm breezes. You can’t beat the location, right on the beach!! A smaller building makes for a quiet relaxed atmosphere. The condo itself had all we needed to enjoy our stay. It is a bit outdated but clean and cozy. For us the only down side was no dishwasher and the 2 bedrooms had sliding curtains rather than walls which isn’t great for privacy. We still loved it though and would definitely re book.

First stay with family

Generally unclean door knobs, light switches, dishes in cupboard all needed washing. When we walked in we felt the place was unclean. Floors and bathroom uncleaned. Carpet needs a good cleaning

Not cleaned, outdated,

Unit was not cleaned. Burn marks on counter tops. 2 kitchen cupboard doors hanging off hinges. Carpet very old and worn plus stains all along the edge by sliding glass doors. Unit smells musty. I called Vacasa (property management) and they sent a cleaning company right away. Pool was broken and out of use for 5 days.

Great space for family

I love that immediately upon entering you can drop your stuff in the bedrooms and see whales out the balcony doors! The owner has binoculars on the tv stand that were amazing for whale watching from the unit. Also available were beach chairs, cooler, and beach umbrella, so handy! Laundry is not in the unit, but coin laundry available. The pool is small but perfect for cooling down or for kids to play. You are right on the beach and walking distance from restaurants and entertainment. There is a grocery store a short distance away. We had no problems with air conditioning. There are 3 AC units in the condo and we’re more than ample for cooling. Overall, I would definitely go back and recommend this unit.

This condo was a perfect location to everything in Maui! Centrally located to venture in any direction. We primarily enjoyed the southern part of Maui during this trip, and a sunrise summit on the volcano. The view from the lanai was the reason we chose this unit, and it did not disappoint! We saw whales in the distance while eating dinner, turtles basking in the sun on the beach during the day, and even more turtles on the beach during our nightly walks. This beach is swimmable! The split AC in each room works great! I enjoyed the “home away from home” feel of the condo and the complex. There are lots of friendly locals in the complex and surrounding area. Some things that could use improvement: unit is a bit aged and needs remodeling in some areas, needs more than one hand towel in the kitchen, needs filled bathroom soap containers, and no stains on extra bedding. BUT, these things were small and did not distract from the lovely time we had here. The lived in feel of the condo actually made me feel more at home and less like I was on a glamorous vacation. Also to note, before leaving home we inquired if there was any beach equipment and were told no, so we pre-rented equipment for when we arrived. When we arrived there were 2 beach chairs, 1 umbrella and 1 cooler in the unit. The condo was worth visiting this time and again in the future!

The view of palm trees, beach, ocean, and migrating whales never got old. Very few people on beach, as well as a few turtles. Condo had room enough for four adults and in a prime location to walk to a grocery store, shops, and restaurants. Convenient parking and short drive to beautiful beaches, food truck courts, restaurants, shops(in Kihei and Wailea), fruit stands, and scenic trails. Have already recommended to friends!

Happy Place

Ok honest review here. Upon arrival I was a little disappointed with the overall upkeep on the bathrooms. HOWEVER, I got over this pretty quick. This location is excellent, the view is absolutely unbeatable and the best part is the beach is so private you have hardly anyone there unlike further down towards Wailea. I would suggest water shoes for the beach as there are some rocky areas but not bad at all. Saw 3 turtles in the water that swam up close to shore. A real gem of a property and has everything you could ask for including beach chairs, snorkel gear, fully stocked kitchen and great lanai with dining area to have your meals with a view. Glass doors slide out all the way to have a full open living room facing the ocean. Grounds and property are well managed. Grocery store one block away and restaurants very close. Pool is just below the lanai which I was a bit concerned about but it’s hardly used and didn’t have screaming kids. Would recommend absolutely.

Wonderful wonderful wonderful

We had an amazing time! The location was perfection. Watching the sunsets from the balcony, the location to the beach and pool - all wonderful. Would definitely book again. We stayed for 9 days and wished it was longer. My only two suggestions for the unit would be to add a mat at the entrance and a clothes rack. Otherwise it was magnificent.

Great Place!

We loved our stay. The apartment is really good. The view is amazing. The location is close to everything you need. By the corner of the street there is a supermarket. My only recommendation would be to add real doors instead of curtains to the bedrooms so people can have more privacy. Other than that, I definitely recommend this place and I would stay again.

A view like from the vacation catalogue in guaranteed

The apartment is in the second floor of a three story vacationn rental complex. The balcony has a fabulous view over thermal pool and a small lawn right onto some sand dunes and the sea. Walking down to the beach we saw a large green turtle maybe 100 yards from the property relaxing on the beach. The apartment is equipped with many useful accessories for the beach (chairs, cooler, boggie board, snorkling equipment).

Beautiful view
