Citrus Cottage in Old Town Orange near Chapman U & Disneyland

Spacious stand-alone guest cottage in the heart of Old Town Orange. It’s a great place for parents of Chapman students to stay while visiting their kids. Within walking distance to the Circle with so many great restaurants and bars that it makes it difficult to choose where to go. The bright and airy décor reflects the charm of Old Town Orange. Street parking is available. Arrive to something refreshing in the refrigerator and wake up to hot coffee.

Orange is loaded with history. Walking around the streets enjoying all the unique home styles is part of what makes our neighborhood interesting, with most of the homes built a 100 years ago. Located minutes away from Disneyland, 15 minutes from John Wayne Airport, 20 minutes to Newport Beach, 3 minutes from Chapman University and a short walk to great dining in the Circle.

Old Towne Orange is a great walking town. We are conveniently located off of the 55 Freeway. If visiting Orange County for the first time you are centrally located to almost everything.

The little home can accommodate up to three people but it is best suited for 2. Not suited for small children.

Please note.... we have two units on the property, a front house and a back cottage. The cottage is the one available for stays. We are in the front house and available if needed.
The City of Orange has a newly adapted policy on Short Term Rentals (10-01-2021). Each reservation will be required to add on a 10% Lodging Tax, similar to the local hotel or motel reservations. This fee goes directly to the city. If the fee is not collected at the time of the reservation it will be required prior to checking in. Unfortunately, we are required to charge this and wish there was a way around it considering we have always tried to run a "mom and pop" type rental. We are licensed, permitted, insured and pay taxes on our rental unit. Considering all of this, our hope is that you will still stay in our cottage and get that feeling that you are staying with extended family while away from home and fully enjoy all the charm that Orange has to offer.

SUCH an amazing property!

This was the best stocked property I have ever stayed in! And the host was lovely, super nice and offering help whenever needed! We will definitely plan to stay here again for a longer stay next time. We walked into downtown Orange, it was about a 10-15 minute walk, all on flat streets in a beautiful neighborhood!

Everything is great about this place!

Everything was perfect from start to finish. The Hosts were amazing with communications ! The cottage was spotless and very clean! Perfectly decorated and everything you’ll need for a very pleasant stay! Very quiet and slept like a rock ( which is rare for me). Definitely would stay here for every visit to the area.

Our nearly 2 week stay at Citrus Cottage was terrific. The home was lovely and equipped with everything we could have wanted. Home away from home!

This property was just perfect for a 3 week stay! Christina was so welcoming & has thought of absolutely everything that you could possibly need! The backyard was private & perfect for a morning cup of coffee in the comfy chairs. The neighborhood was so cute & just a short walk to Orange Circle where there’s tons of restaurants & shopping. Cozy Old Town Orange CA Cottage

Perfect!!!! The cottage is close to Old Town Orange for a wonderful stay that only requires walking and very short Uber rides. The hosts are very friendly and responsive to communications. They provide almost everything you might want or unexpectedly need during your stay. I stayed at this perfect cottage twice and will always check on its availability when I visit Orange CA.

Beautiful, Quiet & Cozy!

Christina & Daniel are the perfect hosts! Their beautiful cottage sits behind their home in a quiet neighborhood blocks from the circle. The cottage was cozy, clean & wonderfully stocked with more than what we needed for our weekend stay. Keurig, water, breakfast bars, hairdryer, nice linens & bedding, books, puzzles, etc. We slept well & enjoyed our morning coffee while looking out at their peaceful backyard. We honestly could not have asked for anything more! Looking forward to our next stay.

I love chatting with anyone. My favorite sport is people watching on a busy street corner. I can not live without my family which consists of my husband and two daughters. We are empty nesters so traveling to new destinations is top on our list. When I’m on a trip I do not cook because I love adventurous dining. I just need a coffee pot to start out my day.

We have lived in our home for almost 30 years. We love Old Town Orange and all that it has to offer. The cottage is in a great location to visit Disneyland, Chapman University, catch an Angel's game, go to the beach and so much more. We love hosting people in our cottage when our kids or family are not visiting. I love hearing why people come to Orange for a visit. We will treat you just how we like to be treated when we are away from home.

The cottage is tucked away from the street and separate from the main house. You will feel very secluded from everything else in your one bedroom, one bath fully stocked home. We are just next door if you need anything.
