Oasis 1917, formerly known as Phoenix West II 1917



This is a North facing unit with incredible views of Gulf State Park and awesome rates!!!



Be the first to relax and enjoy your stay in this beautifully appointed, professionally decorated three bedroom, four bath condo. Come check out the large custom kitchen and a 60'' HD TV in the living room, and flat panel HD TVs in all the bedrooms. No expense was sparred when we decorated this condo at Phoenix West II.



Upon entering you can't help but let out a sigh, grab your favorite drink and relax. The north facing living room has floor to ceiling windows and breath taking views. A wet-bar, ice-maker and wine cooler will enhance any party. The decor in the condo is exceptional.



The condo's master bedroom has a king bed, the 2nd bedroom also has a king and there are two queen beds in the 3rd bedroom and we have a sleeper sofa in the living room for sleeping up to 10.



Come enjoy our newest amenities that include a new adult pool in addition to the already wonderful and relaxing outdoor pool, lazy river and slide. Kids can enjoy the upgraded, fun and lively splash pad. The grill area has been updated to a large covered pavilion that also includes games like corn hole etc. If you don’t feel like cooking or going out to eat, you can grab a drink and a bite to eat at the on-site cafe and; bar. There is a well stocked souvenir shop as well for those last minute essentials and memories to take home.



The Oasis also offers basketball courts, pickle-ball courts, tennis court and putting green. The heated indoor pool is perfect for those cooler days. Near the indoor pool you will find four hot tubs. There is a great fitness room located on the 15th floor overlooking the beach, with two more hot tubs and saunas on the floor below. You have covered parking in the garage.



For your convenience we have installed a keyless entry door lock so you and your family/friends do not have to keep up with any keys during your stay!



Parking: You must purchase your parking passes upon arrival, they are a one time fee of $60 per vehicle. Any 3br unit you rent at Oasis guarantees you can purchase up to two parking passes, the front desk will sell you additional passes based on the occupancy of the complex during your stay but please do not expect the front desk to sell extra passes during the summer season.

Condo was very nice! Comfortable beds, impressed that the 4th hall bathroom was a full bath for the guests staying on the sleeper sofa if that applies to your stay….4th bath also had a nice washer and dryer. The balcony view was a side view of the ocean and faced the road side but we were not at all disappointed! It was still nice to be up that high (19th floor) and see the beautiful sunset!

My grand daughter thoroughly enjoyed the lazy river and splash pad!! All amenities were excellent!

We checked in on a Saturday and the elevator situation was something to be desired. We waited for over 45 minutes to get on the elevator with everyone else checking in as well as the beach goers. Perhaps there could be staggered check ins. In addition when we prepared to cook for the first evening, the oven was not working. It had an error message. We attempted troubleshooting but was unsuccessful. We made due without it for that meal. We ended up unplugging it and it reset and worked for the next meal. Having everything in working order for the price we paid would be expected. I wouldn’t say that there was all the necessities to cook, but we did make it work. Found a pan under the stove when we pulled it out, otherwise we wouldn’t have had a pan either. Overall our experience was a good one!

The condo is beautiful and the views incredible. However, the kitchen lacks pots/pans/bowls for cooking more than one thing at a time. Had to use one flat pan 3 different times for a big breakfast! We’re from southeastern Louisiana and yes we cook on vacation!! The lazy river is awesome!

The condo was perfect. Everything was clean and looks just like the pictures. My only complaint (which is out of the condo owners hands) is the power went out several times and 1-2 of the elevators were out of service making the wait time for the elevators very slow. The indoor and outdoor were both very nice as well as the splash pad. I would highly recommend this condo.

Slightly Disappointed

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This rental property was okay. It was not as maintained as the others where we have stayed. Couch needs to be replaced (Broken arm & stained pillow) and towels should have been replaced about a year ago.

Well Furnished & Nice Views - Water Heater & 1Hr Elevator waits

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Until was well furnished and the balcony views were amazing looking west of orange beach to gulf shores. However the water heater didn’t work and we had to take cold showers our first night. So we were delayed our first night. We fortunately had an electrician in our family and we had to reset the breaker inside of the water heater each day to get hot water. I hope it’s properly fixed for the future guests. The other problem was the elevators. They only had six for the whole property... so it is a 30-60 minute wait from high traffic times like 9-11am or 4-6pm. No exaggerations.. They split the beach space for people that rent chairs and those who bring their own equipment. So you’ll have to set up at 7am if you want a good spot by the water. Overall we rather stay in a less crowded area with less amenities to avoid fighting for an elevator or beach space.

The pools were great, we really loved the 21+ pool area and pickleball courts. Access to the beach was easy. BUT....everyone should know that the wait times for the elevators can be very long and very frustrating, especially on heavy check-in-check-out dates and every day around 4:30 when folks are coming in from the beach. The parking garage is only from 2nd floor to 12th floor, so any room above that means another elevator ride to your car, which again can be very frustrating (20+ minute waits). If we go back, a must have is a room on the 2nd-4th floor so that stairs can be an option.

General design of condo was great, served my family with kids/grandkids well. The dishwasher is gross and needs to be replaced…. Black mold on the cup holders, even after I washed it empty on high heat. Had to take quick showers because we would run out of hot water (6 of us, would sleep 10). Julia, our host, was very responsive, as much as she could. Front desk and gentleman who provided bandaids for my daughter in law was awesome! Kids loved lazy river! Good trip, condo good, not great…..

However, there were many days that this area was over crowded. The location was nice as well-close to many restaurants and shopping. The only disappoints were the elevators did not accomodate the volume of people using them. Sometimes waits were 15-20 minutes and we were on the 19th floor. The beach space in front of the condo was also overcrowded - people were sitting on top of each other. We ended up walking down and sitting off of property. I would recommend a smaller condo so you may enjoy your vacation and space.

The pool area was clean and again spacious. My only wish was that there were sidewalks yo easily get to restaurants- the bike paths made me nervous walking with kids as it was on a busy road. It would've been nice to have heated outdoor pools as it was a bit chilly, but kids just ran into indoor pool. Overall- fantastic room and resort!

Very Nice Oceanfront Condo - but lacking in Security and Elevators.

The Condo was very nice and spacious for our family of 11, 5 of which were small children. The room was clean upon arrival, and I honestly cannot say anything negative about the Condo or area. Orange Beach is a very nice area with Great restaurants and sites within a short drive! The kids enjoyed the properties amenities, lazy river, splash pad, etc.. and the beach was an easy 20 yard walk down the property provided gated walkway. However; I would not recommend staying on a high floor unless you are patient and willing to wait a long time to go between floors! (It took us over an hour to unload baggage from our 2 vehicles to our 19th floor room - due to elevator availability) This was an issue all week - and others complained while waiting on elevators. One day I had to walk the 19 flites of steps because 1 elevator was down and the line was backed up outside the building! I also was not pleased with the the lack of security or policing of the pool area. Excessive Drinking was allowed in the pool, and I had to remove my grandkids on one occasion due to the rowdiness.. It's a pretty property and our family made the best of the week, but we will not stay again due to the issues mentioned above.

And FOUR FULL BEAUTIFUL BATHROOMS!!! This condo was so well stocked with every kitchen gadget you would need. Keurig AND a coffee pot plus a separate ice maker! The cleaning crew did a fabulous job. The beach was beautiful and the grounds of the pool, lazy river and splash pad made you feel like you were at a resort in paradise! We would definitely stay again!! Our one and only complaint would be the super slow elevators!

This year however the condo did not look like it had been vacuumed or dusted or given the white glove treatment.Also it said it would be supplied with some supplies. There were not any extra supplies either. We thought due to covid condo would be extra clean. It was not.
