Step into a rustic retreat at The Dancing Bear cabin, nestled in the tranquil Trackrock section of Blairsville. This cozy cabin boasts a private downstairs bedroom with a plush queen-sized bed, along with an upstairs loft that features two additional queen beds. Guests can relax and unwind by the wood-burning fireplace or the outdoor firepit, and the front porch is perfect for sipping your morning coffee or enjoying an evening cocktail while taking in the serene surroundings. All bed linens and towels are provided for your convenience.

The fully equipped kitchen provides everything you need to whip up a delicious meal, while the quiet heating and cooling system ensures a comfortable stay year-round. Guests are welcome to explore the beautifully landscaped grounds of Misty Mountain.

Located just 10 miles from Brasstown Bald, 8 miles from Vogel State Park, and 5 miles from downtown Blairsville, The Dancing Bear is the perfect base for outdoor adventures, sightseeing, and relaxation. Love the Loft!

We chose this cabin based on the quaint size and the fact that it had a big loft, which our kids absolutely loved! Plenty of games upstairs, which was a nice touch. The loft area was warm on the cold nights, so we appreciated the fan, and there were enough blankets downstairs to balance out the temperature difference (as expected with a loft). Cabin was equipped with everything we needed - our only suggestion would be to add a USB charging station, but we also wouldn't consider this a negative point. Found the cabin in the dark and didn't have any problems, the Christmas lights were such a cool touch! Got to meet Bill and area resident pup Benji, super friendly & we loved the restaurant suggestion in nearby Blairsville (can't say enough good things about the Mexican restaurant). Very happy we chose this location!

Appalachian Trail Hiking Trip

This was a great property for my family of 4 and 2 dogs. The kids loved having their own bed and space in the upstairs loft. There is plenty of area to take your dogs for a walk to stretch their legs and do what they need. This is a good location to feel like you are away from everything even-though you are short drive from restaurants and necessity shopping. We used the property as base camp to do some day hikes on the Appalachian trail.

Perfect little getaway!

The Dancing Bears Cottage was absolutely perfect! The VRBO had everything we needed for our stay and was the perfect size for our little group of 5 girls! So quaint and cute, we loved the cottage theme! A short drive to Walmart and a couple restaurants, lots of good places to eat nearby. Just a short distance to downtown Blue Ridge where there are plenty of activities to keep you occupied. Everything was exactly what we were looking for!

Lovely

Had a wonderful couple of days with friends. The Dancing Bear cabin was beautiful and we were close enough to hiking, waterfalls and the Helen, GA rollercoaster for lots of fun.

Mountain getaway

This was so much fun! I only booked two days, for fear of the kids getting bored. We ended up staying another day because the kids loved it so much! We will definitely come back! The property is adorable and the owners are super friendly!

Our motto is "Rest, Renew, and Trail On" and it is our goal to provide quality lodging for those wanting to enjoy a relaxing mountain setting with numerous recreational opportunities. We want guests to arrive with rest and renewal in mind while they spend time on the trails, lodging in our cottages, and seeking outdoor adventures in the mountains. It is our hope you leave more energized than when you arrived. We look forward to calling Georgia our home and hosting you as our guest.

We love this property as it is close to Blairsville, which has some of the nicest people we've ever met. Misty Mountain is also really close to all the out door amenities this area has to offer. We have the best of both worlds!
