Beautifully remodeled and updated three-bedroom, two-bathroom condo has everything you need for a perfect get-away. The Donner Skislope Retreat is located at Tahoe Donner with more than 60 miles of trail, private beach, family-friendly ski resort, complete amenity package, and close proximity to Lake Tahoe. You will enjoy an unforgettable vacation all seasons of the year. Have your morning coffees on the balcony, watching daily sunrise over the Carson Range. Have a family dinner with colorful light reflection on the panoramic frame in the backdrop at sunset. Enjoy board games in front of the fireplace after a day of ski.

This property is located within walking distance to Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Resort and within minutes of Tahoe Donner amenities. For winter ski-avid guests, the property is 15 minutes from Boreal, Soda Springs, Sugar Bowl, and 25 minutes from Northstar and Squaw Valley ski resorts. This property is also < 30 minutes to Lake Tahoe, 10 minutes to the Donner Lake and Historic Downtown Truckee.

This property is fully furnished with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths for a group of 6. Master suite has a king bed and en suite bathroom. Two other bedrooms have a queen bed and 2 twin beds. Common bathroom located just across from the two bedrooms. Two-car garage covers your parking needs. Open kitchen design and bar seating allows you to chat with the chef while enjoying your meal.

The kitchen is fully equipped, including all major appliances, coffee maker, oven toaster, abundant cookware, dinnerware, and kid-friendly dinning set. There is Roku for streaming on your own account. High-speed Internet allows for videoconference and remote work.

Enjoy the Tahoe Donner Community amenities, including the Donner Lake beach, ski, snowplay, cross country ski, equestrian, driving range, golf, tennis, pools/hot tubs, fitness center, sauna/steam room, and more! Tahoe Donner guest passes available upon request. Guest passes allow access to community private amenities with a small daily fee. Please feel free to contact the host for more details.

There is a Level 2 EV outlet (14-50R) available in the garage for guest usage with $7/night fee. The guest needs to bring charging cable compatible with 14-50R receptor in order to use the outlet.

There is a ramp leading to the garage. During snow season, guests will need a 4 wheel or all wheel drive vehicle to get up the ramp. As the road and weather condition can be unpredictable around Tahoe/Truckee area, please be prepared for your travel!

We will send you a confirmation once you booking is complete. 2 days prior to your reservation, you will receive arrival information and a personalized entry code. After checking in, on-site managers will be available for questions/inquiries 24/7.

The Town of Truckee Tourism Tax of 12% and the TTBID (Tourism Fee) of 1.25% will be assessed on your reservation.

Great Stay in Donner Tahoe

Our family stayed at Peggy's place for a week and had a wonderful time. There was a huge snow storm as we arrived, which made access to the house tricky, but Peggy arranged to have someone come and plow the driveway very soon after our arrival. Peggy also accommodated our early arrival and late departure requests. Beds were comfy, the showers were great. and the kitchen was pretty well-equipped. We would stay here again!

Super convenient stay

We were able to walk to the downhill ski area which was super convenient. The property was very well equipped and the owner was super responsive and proactive with recommendations for sledding with the kids.

Beautiful Donner condo!

Our family had a wonderful stay at Peggy’s rental! The condo was immaculate and had so many amenities, from all the kitchen appliances to the games for the kids. Very close proximity to Truckee and Northstar! We loved our stay and felt so comfortable 😊

Wonder Mountain Retreat

After a 3 week road trip we were pleasantly surprised by this superbly appointed and spacious condo. Eating our dinners on the balcony each evening enjoying the quiet surroundings and Mountain View was special The unit is well appointed with comfortable beds and furniture. There is easy access to golf, restaurants and fishing. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

Comfortable spot

The place was really nicely appointed and very clean. We were very comfortable. The kitchen was extremely well stocked. The walk from the garage to the front door is a flat stretch, but the garage is not attached. I was impressed by how close the place is to Tahoe Donners ski resort. I would definitely stay there again!

Relaxing Ski Trip

The place is two-minute away from the Tahoe Donner Downhill ski resort. Also sledding place is available next to the house. The host is very accommodating, allowing us to check in a bit earlier than the listed time. The house is extremely clean, well stocked and has everything we need. We will come back next ski season!

Sunny lovely condo by Donner Ski Slope

We thought the condo was brand new when we arrived, it is nicely decorated, the kitchen is equipped with nice dishes and glassware and the appliances top notch. The beds, linens, and towels are high quality and the directions for check-in, TV, pass codes, etc. were well organized in a binder. It is VERY sunny in the morning and gets warm but the condo is equipped with a fan in every room. The area is quiet and feels private, lovely views of the mountains off the front deck. I would recommend for a family wit 2 kids or two couples.

Super supportive owner!

We spent a wonderful week in Truckee staying at this lovely condo. After we got home, I realized that I had accidentally left behind a bag containing some precious jewelry. The property owner was so helpful as we were trying to locate it. She even let us re-enter the condo a few days later to search for it. Above and beyond! You will be in good hands with Peggy.

Old appliances

When we got to the property, we quickly realized that many of the appliances were not working properly. We phoned the owner who was somewhat dismissive of our concerns. It was difficult to open and close the garage and the shower in the main bedroom did not work. When I told the owner about the appliances not working, she told me that I wasn’t doing it properly. We were not able to get the shower in the main bedroom to work, but instead of believing us and sending over a plumber, they sent over a friend to verify that it didn’t work. Once that was done , they hired a plumber who fixed it. This period of time was 2 to 3 days that we had to wait and use the other bathroom. They comped us for the inconvenience. But I felt our conversations with them were not particularly friendly. I would not stay here again.

Can't wait to come back!

We really enjoyed staying here for 3 nights in January (including one during a "severe winter storm"). The communication ahead of our arrival was excellent and everything was as expected. The "ramp" that is mentioned in the listing is a decently long, decently steep driveway with the garage at the very end of it. When we returned home after skiing during the storm, the driveway had 6 inches of snow and we were glad to have our 4wd vehicle plus chains to get up. Overnight there was a blow/blower that came by to clear the snow, which was nice. Despite that our vehicle did slide part of the way down the driveway the following morning because of the ice, so be prepared with chains and 4WD.The condo was great and we found just about everything we could need -- including sets of kids plates, cups and utensils which our 1 year old loved. The single story layout is great for young kids (no stairs!) and there wasn't much I had to worry about the baby getting into. We also enjoyed playing some of the games under the coffee table at night.The appliances all worked well (though the dishwasher is a bit outdated and the bottom level doesn't pull out as smoothly as the top). The washer/dryer appear to be very new and were easy to use.Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Nest thermostat was easy to operate. Fireplace in the living room provided great ambiance and warmth. Space heaters were around if needed. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning next season!

Quiet & comfortable.

Short getaway

I wanted a nice place just to chill for a couple days. This unit was up in hills and had a deck with a view so was a good fit. The place was well decorated, cozy and clean. It is near all the Tahoe-donner hiking trails so easy to go hiking . Owner was easy to communicate with and responded quickly.

Great Location

House was perfect for our family of 3. Very clean and very well equipped. Nice quiet area with easy drives to hiking areas. Communication with the host was great. I highly recommend this condo if you want to stay in Tahoe Donner.

We enjoyed cooking at home in your lovely kitchen with snow-peaked views. The home was comfortable and spacious, with all the amenities we needed to make our stay fun and easy. Being so close to hiking trails, the rec center, and downtown Truckee was great. Thank you!

Well located and appointed

We were very happy with our stay. The apartment was very well located. We were steps away from Tahoe Donner, a very family friendly ski resort, 10min away from Truckee (which had lots of nice restaurants and some amazing coffeeshops), and 15-20min away from Sugarbowl or Northstar, so it was convenient to get to everything. The apartment was clean and well appointed. If I had to make one suggestion to the owner, it would be to provide humidifiers, as it gets really dry up there. Otherwise, everything was really nice.
