Another wonderful stay

Came up for another stay at this lovely home. Took several hikes in the area, with perfect weather. Relaxed on the deck in the mornings and evenings. The house is well appointed, always clean and inviting with a good kitchen and comfortable layout. Easy communication with owner - it's a very nice place to stay, to enjoy the Tahoe Donner area - would highly recommend.

Fantastic Place

Great place in Tahoe Donner. Best jacuzzi I’ve ever experienced. So many comfortable sofas it’s hard to choose. Pool table was a big favorite. Quite neighborhood.

Another wonderful stay

My daughter and I enjoyed another great visit to this property. As with two previous stays here, the house was clean, quiet, and very welcoming. Easy to relax, great kitchen, loft, rec room. The area is great for hiking, biking, canoeing, etc. We had almost perfect weather, enjoyed a good hike every day, followed by a quiet rest in the comfort of this lovely home.

2nd Stay

This was our second stay here and once again, we absolutely loved it. The house has everything we needed to recharge after a long day exploring Tahoe and Truckee. The kitchen is well stocked from pots and pans to a full spice drawer. The game room provided hours of entertainment for the kids and the hot tub on the balcony was a great addition since our last stay.

Wonderful stay

Wonderful stay, house is clean and well stocked. The kids had a blast in game room. Communication with owners was great. No a/c but fans kept house cool just fine on the hot summer days.

Spacious and full of amenities

We were here during an intense heat wave...but fortunately the owner was very responsive when we needed passes to the pool/beaches and the house had great working fans throughout. There is a lot of space here for gatherings even though this stay was just our immediate family of 4. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking, the beds are very comfortable, the game room with pool table is a fun amenity.

Tahoe Getaway

Overall the property was nice. Well stocked with kitchen items and plenty of linens. The beds were very comfortable. It does need a little update for summer usage. The jacuzzi needed maintenance and the outside deck and table needed some care as they have suffered from the winter months with lots of opportunities for slivers in their current condition.

Serene Mountain gateaway!

The home matched the images precisely—neat, wonderfully rustic, and nestled peacefully in the mountains. Its tranquil ambiance was a true delight. The kitchen boasted all the necessary amenities for preparing delicious meals, and the game room was a definite hit with the kids. We even got to even see a lynx bobcat!!! Moreover, its proximity to various attractions was convenient, with a short drive to downtown Truckee and the lake. Our experience was fantastic, and we're already planning our return!

Great Family Stay

This is the perfect house!! We would love to stay here again. It has a well stocked kitchen, comfy beds with plenty of extra linens, great bathrooms, an upstairs lounge, a separate games room, a hot tub, a fantastic entryway for snowy boots etc and plenty of outdoor space. All of which are very clean and well maintained. Raymund and Karen have thought of every need, and the house provides so much comfort. Due to a massive snow storm, we lost power the first day, but were incredibly comfortable. The home and games room both have very efficient backup heat, a gas stove and plenty of water. My only recommendation is to include your phone numbers in the House Book in case wifi goes out.

Tahoe Donner House

The house was fantastic. The guys loved the game room and hot tub. The location was great. I loved having access to the neighborhood trails and the ability to access the Tahoe National Forest. We also appreciated the fully stocked kitchen and the many board games.

Through Christmas morning

I am so grateful for Raymund and Karen for making their beautiful home available to us. My parents were unable to join us, but my husband, son and I had a lovely, relaxing time. The house was impeccable and had everything that we needed for our stay and more. Having the two separate areas for entertainment: upstairs, and the game room, was luxurious. We were impressed that all the facilities were turned on and ready for us at the time of our arrival. Thank you again, and we hope you will allow us to stay at your lovely place again.

Second stay at this lovely home

Another stay at this wonderful property. The location is very nice - quiet, with a good mountain feel. The house is very welcoming, comfortable, clean and well-appointed. It's easy to feel at home here. Plenty of activities available within a short drive. The owner was very friendly and welcoming, as well. We would certainly stay here again, and knowing my daughter, probably will!
