Winter 2025 Rate Drop! 2BR/2.5BA Dog Friendly, Near Playground

Saltwater Joys is the perfect 2BR/2.5BA townhome escape from the day to day grind that will allow you to enjoy all that Cape San Blas has to offer. Located across from the playground and overlooking the State Park, Saltwater Joys is less than 4 minutes to the beach! It has recently been updated with new flooring, new living room furniture and updated décor.

Barrier Dunes is a gated community that offers paved streets, stocked fishing ponds, pickleball/tennis courts, 2 swimming pools, and 4 beach accesses. This is the perfect get away for a couple, kids or the entire family!

Saltwater Joys offers all the amenities you need for a perfect stay at the beach! All you need to bring is your favorite beach towel and sunscreen! The spacious deck is perfect for reading or just enjoying private 'down' time. The decor is all about comfort and relaxation. There is a 47' flat screen tv in the living room, sleeper sofa and love seat, oversized coffee table (perfect for playing games), and overstuffed chair.

There is a full washer and dryer on the main level, half bath, dining area that seats six, and well stock kitchen with a window over the sink with a view of the playground, perfect for watching the kids play!

The primary bedroom is beautifully decorated with a king bed, full dresser, tv, end tables and deck that overlooks the State Park. The primary ensuite bathroom has a separate shower and tub, double vanity and private water closet. The second bedroom has a queen bed, nightstands and lamps for reading, ensuite bath with shower, private balcony overlooking the State Park and large closet.

In the carport area you'll find an outdoor shower with hot/cold running water and a nice long driveway to park a boat/trailer.

There is an additional fee if you decide to bring your dog! Barrier Dunes is very accommodating for your favorite 4 legged friend and we allow a maximum of 2 dogs with the $150 non-refundable pet fee.

50% of balance due is due at booking and the remaining balance is due 60 days prior to check-in.
All reservations require sending in a copy of your government issued ID for age verification purposes.

Good vacation stay

This was a nice place to stay for a quiet beach vacation. The house was clean and the walk to the beach only took a couple of minutes. The only complaint would be the black stone grill. It’s offered in the listing and we thought it would be clean but it was extremely dirty.

Saltwater Joy - Cape San Blas

The property description is accurate to relieve your mind on listing accuracy. The property is nicely situated near the State Park for bay access and then short walk to the Gulf beach. There is an outside hose and shower for rinsing sand prior to entering the property. An enjoyable location and accommodations.

Wonderful place

Loved staying here! Walk to beach about 5 mins. Back deck has beautiful view. House is very comfy but could use a small update to cooking vessels and propane was out but greatly enjoyed our stay. Pool is nice and loved the community and amenities. Very dog friendly. Would 100% stay here again.

Perfect family vacation!

This property was clean and perfect for our needs. It’s a short walk to the beach in a beautiful community. Beds are comfortable and kitchen is nice. Would recommend bringing extra toiletries such as toilet paper, towels and washcloths, etc for longer stays. Great place and location!

Great family spot

We has a great time at Cape San Blas in general, and this condo was perfect for our family of 5 and 2 dogs. Everyone had plenty of space, the beds are comfortable and kitchen is well equipped. It is a little bit of a walk to the beach access, but with comfortable beach shoes we made do. Maybe rent a golf cart next time? We hope to come back soon!

Great trip weather was nice

Inside was clean and nice but main balcony needed pressure washing and the gas grill should be replaced. Besides that I everything was great I would definitely stay again.

Great place for family

Having playground right there was nice for kids. Complex was clean and felt very safe. The unit was as advertised and met all of our needs. 1 minor issue and it was addressed quickly. We would certainly come here again; highly recommend for families.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Saltwater Joys. The home was clean and comfortable and included everything we needed. The kids loved having a playground right in front of the house. The beach is a short walk away. Cape San Blas is quiet and peaceful. We loved the Indian Pass Oyster Bar and St. Joe’s Shrimp Company.

Weekend getaway

From the moment we booked up to when we checkout. The communication was on point. We had an issue with the place we originally booked, and they was right on it making sure we had a new place to stay! We came down for Labor Day weekend and brought our dog Andy with us. He had the best time and loved meeting all the other doggies! The location and area is just beautiful. We definitely will be back!

Had A Great Time!

Loved the location, and just a short walking distance to the beach. The carpet in the bedrooms really need a good cleaning or replaced and the bathroom floor mats were bad but we just washed them ourselves. Kitchen could use a few more items as well. But for the price and overall stay we loved it and definitely worth it! And quick response when we needed the propane tank refilled too!

Great Place in Paradise

This place was great. It was in the Barrier Dunes complex on Cape San Blas. The complex was very well taken care of and had multiple pools with easy access to the beach. The condo was well equipped. The furnishings were nice. The condo was very comfortable for my wife and four children. The condo was spacious and offered all that we needed in addition to a balcony and a grill. The only reason I give this four rather than five stars was due to the spots on the carpet throughout the main area. The condo is dog friendly and I am guessing this was the culprit! I highly recommend this condo.

Property was not renovated as listed.

Pots and cooking pans was horrible, left over used lumber in stall of parking, nails protruding out of decking hazard, gas grill rusted and filthy. Coffee maker needs replaced, many lights were burned out. This should have never been listed to rent.
