The ideal location provides a route from door to shore in less time than it takes to put on your sunscreen and flip flops, as well as a path to a delicious meal at Whaley’s Restaurant and Bar. A well-maintained and updated interior will exceed your expectations. From the well-equipped kitchen outfitted with choice appliances to the tasteful, quality décor, everything you could want for an incredible experience is within reach. Numerous cozy porches and decks offer memorable scenic views. The large private pool is the centerpiece for lounging and playing. Any worries will drift away with the sweet ocean breeze as you embrace island time.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Beautiful Home/Pool

The house was very clean, beautiful, and had everything we needed, plus! The pool could use a robotic vacuum, but it was an added plus to our stay for Grandkids and adults alike! Home was in a perfect location. Beautifully landscaped, and easy beach access!

Great place for a large group to stay!

Great place in a beautiful location. Comfortable and quiet. Lots of activities for kids of all ages. We had a ton of room for 4 adults and 5 children. Both the beach and a pizzeria were a block away. Well-equipped kitchen with plenty of pots, pans, utensils, etc. Would love to stay here again!

Overall great house / we had issues with ice maker freezer and no hot water. Property manager got propane tank replaced so we had hot water, appliance repairman checked out freezer and ice maker which will require major defrosting after we left. Our frozen stuff didn’t really stay frozen, perhaps a missed opportunity for a prior renter to report the issues. Home could use s good deep clean including dusting the window blinds. Our grandkids really enjoyed the pool in the backyard. Having the gas grill was great as well as 4 bedrooms each with private bath - worked out really well for each family to have privacy. Nicely decorated cozy home. Plenty of room for 3 cars to park, short walk to the beach.

Excellent Value

We utilized three VRBOs in close proximity to host an annual corporate retreat. It worked great. The houses we're awesome and the weather was unbelievable.

Home is a great location--beware of days traveled during the week as many things/restaurants are closed early in the week. Home was very nice and had lovely features including a top floor deck perfect for early morning coffee.

Great House & Location

This house was very clean and exactly what is represented in the listing. The pool is awesome! The perfect size for younger kids. The location is very convenient and there is plenty of space for a larger family. Everything was well stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms. The only thing we didn't love was the beds weren't comfortable. Especially in the bunk room (so squeaky). My kids ended up on the floor. Otherwise we loved everything about this house and vacation.

Amazing Rental!

Our family (multi-generational) has stayed all over Edisto Island in the past and this house quickly became our favorite! The location is a short walk across the street to the beach at Access 27. House was immaculately clean upon our arrival! Mentionable items that are important to us & may help with your packing list: - There's a toaster oven, Kitchen-Aid mixer, a regular and a Keurig coffee maker, plenty of standard kitchen items (pots, pans, utensils, knives, storage containers, mixing bowls, casserole dishes, large pots, etc), an outside burner for that low country boil, a smoker, a gas grill & two charcoal grills. - Pool is small but perfect for cooling off after a hot beach day. - Plenty of very nice outdoor furniture by pool & on each balcony (2 on main level of home & 1 on second level). - Refrigerator is spacious & never lagged a bit (in our experience they usually take at least 24 hrs to catch up after check in). - Beds were comfortable! - Each room has their own bathroom & there's a half bath on the main level as well. - There are bottles of shampoo, conditioner & body wash in each shower as well as hand soap in each bathroom & the kitchen. - There's an outdoor shower outside near the pool to wash off all the sand. All in all, the house is fantastic & was perfect for our family!

The house was beautiful, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Perfect walking distance to the beach. The beds were soft but squeaky king bed and trundle bed for sure. You can see outdoor seating around what is an outside tv but it’s locked up. In fact this house has tons of locked cabinets. Usually there is at least salt and pepper but not here. Kitchen was ok stocked but a few Kitchen towels and the basic kitchen stuff like tin foil would be nice. Overall happy with the place just disappointing with the lack of access to amenities including the elevator which wasn’t advertised but again would Have been nice.

We knew the property was a block or so from the beach so we were pleasantly surprised to be able to hear the ocean from the porches. The drawbacks are the mattresses were very uncomfortable. We had extra space so we ended up trying a couple of different beds and none of them were great. I would recommend replacing them and finding non-plastic mattress covers.

Great House but Vacasa horrible

We had the opportunity to stay at Good Graces the first week of Aug. Was it clean yes it was beautiful, close to the beach, and the pool was an added bonus. However, this was our first experience with Vacasa. While at Edisto we were in the middle of Tropical Storm Debbie we tried to stick it out but the night the power went out a tornado hit the house in front of us. We all slept in the downstairs living room and half bath with my two year old. The storm was very frightening and we decided we would leave the next morning. The house was very sturdy, but of course it resulted in having broken screen, broken door, and leaky windows. We put our own tarps up downstairs to try and keep damage to a minimum. The roads were flooding, no power, no restaurants or grocery was open so we left. I messaged and called the staff several times to try and reason with them about the storm and having to leave. They wouldn’t allow any late check outs, no credit, and no refunds period. I tried to plea my case with the manager and after giving false hope that the homeowner would be contacted to make the final decision the next day they simply just said this is not an option and we only go by our policy. We have been coming to edisto for years and have never been responded to like this. I hope the town of edisto and the homeowners learn how Vacasa responds to their guests. We plan to never use again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very nice layout, amenities, and location to the beach, which was a short walk away. The location on the end of the island is quiet and away from most of the traffic. The pool is a nice reprieve from the beach and well shaded from the sun. Plenty of parking for guests. However, the house was not very clean at check-in, cabinet faces dirty with food drips, there was about 1/2 cup of loose coffee grinds in one drawer, stove top was not clean and all burners did not work well, the oven also didn't seem to heat at proper temperatures, the ice maker made literally 5 to 6 cubes per day, the cable to some of the TV's did not work consistently, and the saltwater pool was way too salty for our liking. The microwave had a broken fan button, which was fixed promptly by maintenance, only to break again the next time it was pushed. All that aside, we cleaned some things ourselves and made-do with the other noted concerns without involving the management company. We've stayed at far worse rentals in the past and these issues didn't rise to the level of needing to waste precious vacation time dealing with them during our short stay; you have to expect a certain level of wear/tear when renting beach homes. We had a nice stay overall at Good Graces; the house was well equipped for having a good time, it just could use a little more TLC to get top ratings for the price paid.

A quality stay

Good Graces had well appointed and very comfortable rooms for gathering, eating and sleeping. There were plenty of bathrooms, all reasonably supplied. Several very cozy screened porches and a lovely pool area with plenty of seating and shade. There were pool toys, hoses to remove sand and a nice level of privacy. It was very convenient to the beach. The house is well maintained and thoughtfully stocked. It was perfect for a family of adults, providing options for personal space and privacy. Visiting children also had a great time! We loved our stay!

Good Graces Review

Overall the house was beautiful and very conveniently located. We loved the pool and the kitchen had everything we needed! My only real complaints were that it could use a deep clean - the rugs were really stained. The sleeping situation in the "bunk room" was not good as the beds were so noisy both the beds and mattresses!! The trundle bed was very uncomfortable and I still have a sore back from feeling the metal braces. There is no way you could sleep 6 in that bedroom either because if you pulled the lower trundle bed out you could not use the ladder to access the top bunks. There was only one ladder for two sets of bunk beds and the ceiling fan was right above the access to the top bunk of one set. The sleeping situation in that room would definitely effect our decision to stay there again.
