The Blue Jay's Blue Chalet is nested in a quiet wooded area, close to wonderful hiking trails, and ski hills. The property, bordered by a stream, is an ideal place for nature lovers. Enjoy a great location in a peaceful setting.

The chalet has been fully renovated while maintaining its original charm. One queen size bed and two twin size beds (trundle bed) are available. The bedrooms are accessible via a steep and narrow staircase, undeniably charming but not for everyone. The kitchen has what is needed for cooking and enjoying meals. Linen and towels are provided.

The chalet is close to the Long Trail hiking trail and approx. 600 yards from the Smugglers' Notch ski resort. The chalet's location makes it feel secluded yet close by is Smuggler's Notch, ski hills, hiking trails and a pub, all within walking distance. In the village of Jeffersonville 5 miles from chalet, one can find restaurants, a post office, hair salon, art galleries, canoe rental. The chalet is a 2 minute drive to Smuggler's Notch ski resort, however in winter the direct road over the mountain between the chalet and Stowe is closed, the drive around to Stowe is approx. 50 minutes.

You can choose from a variety of activities in the area ranging from wine tasting, disc golf, canoeing hiking to ziplining. Don't forget to set aside time to rest, relax and enjoy the surrounding nature.
