Welcome to The Hickory House!

We LLOVE LLANO and are thankful for this home that allows us to share our slice of Heaven and zest for interior design. Come and enjoy this newly updated, 1930's Craftsman home that's within walking distance to the Llano River, and the heart of downtown. This open concept space, and original woodwork has been designed for you to relax and reconnect. It is nestled in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of natural lighting and a south breeze. With high ceilings, large bedrooms & top of the line bedding you will cozy up and enjoy it's charm. The front porch is perfect for your morning coffee and the private back patio is a great spot for an evening BBQ.

This house also comes with free 24/7 access to Core24, the local gym. The key to the gym is attached to the house key.

We also now offer SlingTV! Stream all your favorite tv shows and sports games on us.

Free High-Speed Wifi is available as well.

Hickory House is blocks away from downtown Llano, giving you easy access to plenty of shops, restaurants and nightlife.

The square offers a historic courthouse, a creamery, a vodka distillery, a coffee shop, a craft beer pub, boutiques and the Historic Lantex Theatre.

Best Place to Stay in Llano

This is a wonderful place to stay in Llano Texas. The home is clean, the kitchen well stocked. We have stayed at other places in Llano and this is our favorite.

Great little house, well stocked for a comfortable stay!

The house was really nice, decorated well, had all the necessary items and extra well stocked kitchen for cooking. There was also a nice backyard with a bricked in area with grill and chairs - great space to relax! It is close enough to walk to the down town and the river.

Hickory House

Hickory House was one of our favorite rentals we have ever stayed at. The house is nicely decorated and the beds are very comfortable. Our favorite part was the porch swing on the front porch.

Beautiful house, they thought of everything

Very well stocked house, clean and felt new. Also liked the town of Llano, very friendly folks at draft beer bar walking distance. Drove across the river to The Barrel House and saw great live music and friendly folks. Wildflowers were fabulous this year.

Quaint and Peaceful

We stayed at the property for 2 nights, and enjoyed it. We didn't spend a lot of time at the house because we walked around town in the mornings and spent the days out at the Ranch. But for when we were there it was comfortable and quiet.

Hickory House

We had a lovely stay at Hickory House for a 2 night family trip to the Llano area. Bri was very responsive. The home was welcoming, comfortable, and well supplied. A perfect “base-camp” for exploring the town and surroundings. We were also greeted with a Summer Sausage which was equal parts quirky and perfect. Would highly recommend and will return to it the next time we are in the area.

Charming with modern touches, very clean and inviting

Charming house, modern touches with a cozy feel, extremely clean, well-appointed, and super-soft linens. The back patio is private, inviting and perfect for sipping morning coffee or hanging out & doing some evening grilling. This was the perfect place for four adults in town visiting family. We will definitely stay again!

This cute Craftsman home has been a fun project for my son and me to restore & bring back to life. This was a rare find for us in 2017, and God's timing was right on. Our main focus is to make your stay exceptional with numerous added amenities. We hope you enjoy your stay and please don't forget to sit on the front porch and soak in the sunshine and South breeze.
Questions?...just ask! We enjoy getting to know you & responding quickly...we know the area quite well.
