Beautiful recently remodeled house in Hanalei with big Lanai with ocean views. House is equipped with everything you would need. Perfect home for our family trip and would definitely stay again.

Perfect for family getaway

We had the most amazing time here. We were able to walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops. The view was beautiful. The house was super clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful home!!!

Our large family had an epic stay at this beautiful beach house. The home itself has everything you could want or need. Very short walk to the beach. The team at Makana properties is excellent. They were kind, thoughtful and professional. We vacationed here in Hanalei when our children were younger and now they are grown, married and we are grandparents. This vacation will forever stay with me! With love and many thank you's, nana xx

Listening to the birds and counting the rainbows. Bedrooms and beds were very comfortable. The only downside was there was a gas leak and we had no oven or stove top to use our entire 12 days. We were told the night before we arrived. They kindly provided portable oven's and hot pads but they really didn't work well for our needs. they kept blowing fuses. We wanted to cook most meal's at the house because we were traveling with a 6 month old but that didn't work out. if the kitchen issues get fixed it is a wonderful place to stay and we highly recommend.

Dream House in Hanalei

We had such a wonderful time at this property in our favorite place! The location is perfect and the home is simply beautiful. We have no negative complaints whatsoever about the home, however there was quite a bit of rooster noise throughout the nights that kept us up. The chickens are native to the island so it comes with the territory! We can’t wait to come back!! 5+ stars

Best place to stay in Hanalei

This property was exceptional in every way. The place is very large, beautifully decorated, a well stocked kitchen and tons of beach supplies too! The location though could not have been better. The walk to Hanalei Beach is one minute away, and about 5 minutes to the town. It is a great base for everything but we never wanted to leave!!

It is spacious, comfortable, beautifully furnished and the kitchen(s) are intuitively designed and well equipped with everything one who enjoys cooking could need (except for a garlic press, our only negative comment!). Also tons of beach chairs, towels, boogie boards, umbrellas and a wagon to carry it all!We have previously only stayed on the ocean side of Weke Road so we were unsure if "steps to the beach" was really accurate, and it is. It is only about 100 steps from the front door to the entrance to the beach. Literally maybe a 90 second walk.We LOVED this home and can't wait to go back.

Perfect spot on the Bay!

This home is beautiful and in a dreamy location! It’s a short walk to the town of Hanalei and an even shorter walk to the beach. With three lanais and a view of the beach and mountains, you won’t want to leave! The property managers could not have been more accommodating and responsive to our needs/questions. All six adults as well as the one and a half year old loved our time on Hanalei Bay!

Fun was had by all!

We had an absolutely amazing time at this gorgeous home in the perfect location. My boys walked to surfing every morning while I jogged around the quaint town or drank coffee on the comfortable deck. Many family dinners and games were shared about the large dinner table. The house was very well stocked and clean. We loved it! 🌺🏖️🏄‍♂️🌊🍹

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been visiting this property since 2010, almost annually. It is a wonderful property and a great location. Unfortunately, the new management company has nearly tripled the cost of the rental moving forward. This puts this property out of reach for future stays. It is also a shame that Hanalei is turning into a tropical Aspen, where only the super wealthy can afford to stay there. It changes the entire vibe of the town and the beach. It used to be a hidden gem, very local, with a Hippie vibe. I fear it may now be changed forever. It's certainly not an affordable locale.

Super clean upon arrival. Never a need to contact the management company but I will say that they were way out in front of things with communication prior to our arrival. If you are looking for a rental that has everything (toys/TV's/kitchens/wonderful beds/AC) and is walking distance to the beach and town...this is your place! Hanalei...still one of the most beautiful places in the world!
