Pet Friendly Carriage House Walkable to Beach

Welcome to P & J Carriage House! A custom built garage apartment constructed in 2018 where a single barn once stood and is available as a vacation rental. This 2 bedroom, 1 bath home sleeps up to 6 guests comfortably. There is a king bed in the master and a queen bed in the second bedroom. The sofa sleeper has a queen sized mattress. The bathroom has a tub and shower combo. There is also an outside shower. A pack and play and baby gate are available for guests to use but please bring your own sheet set up for the pack and play. All other linens (pillows, blankets, sheets, beach and bath towels) are provided for you April through November 15. This private and tasteful structure is tucked away on McCullough Alley; a sneaky side street between Second Avenue in West Cape May and Sunset Boulevard. After a long day at the beach you will be enchanted by the clip clop of carriage horses as they head home after a long days work. Located a short distance to some of the finest dining on the island, farmers markets, public parks, liquor stores, and shopping. You are 3 blocks to Cape May Beaches, a short bike ride to the Nature Trails at Cape May Point AND you may bring your well behaved dog as we are PET FRIENDLY! Please note pets are accepted on a case by case basis and MUST be on flea and tick preventative. If booking online PLEASE be sure to send pet s age, breed, and weight for the owner s consideration. 2 Pet Maximum - PETS MUST BE APPROVED WITH THE OWNER. $165 for the first dog. Contact owner for additional pet fees.There are 4 bikes with bike locks for guests to use. Please bring your own helmets. Gas BBQ, off street parking for 2 cars, and we provide 4 beach tags. Beach Service operates Memorial Day through Labor Day. Owner offers 4 beach chairs and 1 umbrella via Stegers MDW-LDW.This rental operates on a Sunday through Sunday turnover schedule and is professionally cleaned between each guest. This home is rented by Coastline Realty and all bookings will require a lease.Guests may use their own log ins for Smart TV apps like Netflix etc. WIFI provided.This is a Pet Friendly Property. If you are not bringing a pet during your stay, you will not be responsible for Pet Rent. For online booking, your lease will be adjusted accordingly.

Charming 2 bedroom carriage house that was perfect for our short stay. Clean and nicely furnished. Location was also great as there were nearby restaurants and just a short 10 minute walk into the main shopping area. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location for a Cape May getaway! Beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean and perfect location. We appreciated the pet friendly accommodations and off street parking. P&J Carriage House would be our top choice for our next trip.

Great Weekend Stay

We had a great weekend in Cape May. The property was easily accessible and the management team, lead by Holly, was simply fantastic. The house is within walking distance to all the main attractions in Cape May, Congress Hall, Washington Square Mall and many restaurants. We will be back.

Winter in Cape May

The cottage is larger than we expected with two nicely sized bedrooms and an open concept living space. The entire home is well maintained and within a short distance to the town and restaurants.

Weekend getaway

We had an amazing weekend at The Carriage House. It was just as it appeared online. Check in was a breeze. The accommodations were perfect. The house is within walking distance to some of our favorite places in Cape May. We can’t wait for an excuse to go back!

Absolutely loved our stay at the Carriage House. The flow and floorplan of the home were perfect, and loved the decor and natural light. The high ceilings made it feel even more spacoius. Also very much appreciated it being pet-friendly. Our Shelby loved enjoying Cape May with us. The location was perfect - short walk to everything that we wanted to experience. Cannot wait to return.

Carriage House in Cape May

We stayed at this property for a weekend event and it couldn't have been nicer. The unit was really nicely decorated and had everything we needed. The location was great - walkable to the shopping area of Cape May as well as restaurants within a very short walk. We didn't encounter any issues during our stay - and I would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic pet friendly Cape May Cottage

This was a well appointed second story cottage with a great location to explore Cape May. Private two car driveway. All amenities you need are included just as listing states. Great little fenced yard for your dog.

Perfect Holiday Weekend

We had such a great stay! The house was clean and inviting. We quickly realized parking was difficult near the attractions so we just walked into town which was so convenient! It was also really nice to have a small fenced yard for our dog. We walked to breakfast at Dock Mike’s and enjoyed all the holiday decorations across the area. We had such a nice stay. Thank you!

Nice and new

Nicely appointed, new carriage house that worked very well for a couple and our dog. We had everything we needed with the exception of a working microwave. Very basic TV package - just local channels. Some basic cable to watch CNN would have been nice. Easy walk to restaurants and shopping.

1st. time in Cape May

Everything about this get away was wonderful. The carriage house was perfectly charming , modern and exceptionally clean. We had every amenity you would would want and more. Close to the beach , restaurants, shopping , and all within walking distance . There were even beach passes, Steger Beach services for chairs and umbrellas as well as bikes to ride to the beach . I would definitely stay here again with another couple again . Our 16 week black lab was loved and welcomed by all of the local restaurants and shops. There were many who brought bowls of water for her while we ate breakfast , lunch and dinner. *****

Carriage House in West Cape May

Well kept, clean, and spacious accommodations. Fully stocked kitchen with anything you may need. The bathroom was the perfect size! The location was great too! We were able to take our dog for walks in the small park across the street and shopping at the West End Garage! Beautiful property with off street parking for 2 cars. We enjoyed sitting outside each night listening to the live music from nearby Exit Zero and seeing the horse-drawn carriages pass by at the end of their shift each night.

This was a great place to stay. Close to everything we could walk or bikes bikes everywhere. The house was clean. My dog loved the fenced in yard. Great place to stay!
