Experience lake life on a 250 feet lakefront with a panoramic lake views on a south facing peninsula. A newly renovated 2000 sq ft lake house staged on 1 acre of private land on all sports Evans Lake, will make sure to accommodate your family and friends; includes 5 bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathrooms and a walkout basement.

Enjoy your days swimming in the clear water of Evans lake or fishing off the private dock; explore the lake by kayaks, available at no extra cost.
Or just sit and relax by enjoying the beautiful panoramic lake view.

Natural lights pour over the open great room with a wall of windows that overlooks the lake. A cozy gas burning fireplace is the center of this space topped with a 70” flat screen tv and very comfortable sectionals for you to kick back and enjoy your favorite shows and movies. Take 5 steps down into a charming all glass summer room with unbeatable panoramic lake views, high ceilings and nature feels.

Bask in the serenity of the surrounding woods and lake views as you step out to your own outdoor oasis. The back porch is the perfect spot for morning coffee! Take two steps down to our private dock.

The fully equipped kitchen is ready to meet all your cooking needs, including a coffee bar, spacious dining room, and direct access to a large high deck patio with stunning view of the lake. This floor hosts 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and a complete laundry room.
The lower level is a walk out basement that has 2 bedrooms, one half bath and a great room; perfect for families. The home is ready to accommodate the youngest of guests with an available pack-n-play for sleeping, high chair for dining and infant tub for bathing.

Amazing Lakehouse!!

Our family came for a week of lake life to relax and play. Joe’s cottage has so much space inside and out with 5 bedrooms, huge living space upstairs and smaller living room downstairs in walk out level. Our family of 6 adults, 3 preschoolers and an infant had the best week here!! The lawn is spacious enough for bocce ball and all your running around. Huge parking space for cars and riding small bikes or chalk drawing. 5 kayaks to explore the lake. We rented a pontoon so we enjoyed the small lake each day and Fished off the dock too. There’s putt putt golf, a state park, winery, brewery and restaurants close by for outings. The home is equipped with plenty of dishes, spices in the kitchen. There’s a grill and plenty of lifejackets in the garage. Plenty of towels for beach and showers. There’s an outdoor spot with fire pit and plenty of chairs. They really thought of everything to make your week a blast!! Joe is easy to reach and very friendly/ helpful. This was our second trip here and hope to come back. Thank you Joe!!

Relaxation and fun!

It was the perfect location for me and my kiddos to be close to family and easy access to the lake. Joe was the best host, checking in to make sure we had everything we needed, helping solve any issues that came up, and even allowed a late check out. The house was the perfect size and came with everything we needed from stand fans and noise backbones to pots and pans for cooking. It was so peaceful and the lake was beautiful and the kayaks were a blast. We cannot wait to come back next year and all the years to come!

Best lakefront on Evans Lake!

This was a wonderful home. It was immaculate when we got there. The yard is absolutely amazing, with two piers and so much room for playing and relaxing. The water is clear, warm, and there are several kayaks to explore Lake Evans. Our host, Joe, was very responsive to any requests. We would be happy to vacation here in the future!

Perfect Michigan Lake House

What a perfect trip! We were in town for a wedding, and decided to stay here and it was perfect! The house had more than enough space and was stocked with everything we needed and more! The outdoor space was perfect for a rowdy 1.5 year old. We would definitely stay there again! Joe was so helpful and quick to answer any questions! We could not give this place enough stars.

Lake Evans House

Our 5 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath house was very spacious. Beach towels and all linens were provided. Many VRBO house don’t do this. We chose to rent a brand new pontoon boat from the owner. The kids went tubing and had a blast. Beautiful lake. Many tv’s and tons of outdoor chairs to enjoy the lake view. Fire pit with wood was also included. We would definitely rent this house again.

Peaceful Vacation

We enjoyed our first visit to the Irish Hills, staying at this wonderful lake home.The home was very clean, with a well stocked kitchen and ample supply of linens. There was plenty of space in the living areas with large, comfortable sectionals.The property was spacious...huge lawn, 2 docks, with beautiful views of Evans Lake. The lake itself is a smaller, quiet lake, which was perfect for us. We rented the owner's new pontoon boat, which was immaculate. Easy to get around on the lake, great for kayaking and fishing. Joe, the owner, was easy to communicate with and always prompt in responding. Would definitely stay again at this location!

Our new forever vacation home

This place had it all. The house is very open and had more than enough room for all 12 of us. The views of the lake while enjoying a morning cup of coffee were a great way to start each day. The yard is HUGE and has a ton of room for relaxing, cornhole, or a wiffle ball game. Evans Lake is perfect for tubing and skiing, and great for swimming. The Hills restaurant right across the street has great food and live music. It's not on the menu, but if you ask for a Big Mac pizza you won't regret it. Joe is the most responsive host we have ever had and we plan on making this our new forever vacation home. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a fun and relaxing vacation.

A Fun Getaway at Evans Lake

Very nice view of lake from kitchen, living room and sunroom. Host was very helpful and accommodating. Pontoon boat was exceptional. Our family of 12, enjoyed every day. Ten stayed everynight with two joining us for day activities. We liked the location: could visit Dairy Bar, Michigan State Botanital Gardens, winery, and two good grocery stores.

Beautiful and Relaxing

Our family of 10 celebrated our mother’s 91st birthday at this beautiful lake house. We couldn’t have asked for a better house and location. Most of our family lives in southeastern Michigan, and since long travel is difficult for our mother, this close by location was perfect. The lake was scenic and perfect for kayaking, and the lawn was perfect for our family croquet and bocce ball games. We had plenty of room to spread out. It was perfect to enjoy watching our favorite University of Michigan football team win, And when we had an issue canceling the trial subscription we needed to watch the game, Joe stepped in and made sure it happened. If you’re thinking about sharing a restful and fun weekend with family or friends, you will love this property!

Great retreat for your group

Everything was as advertised and seems to be one of the nicest locations on the lake with lots of lake frontage and a nice yard. Our family of ten found this to be a nice locations to gather and spend some quality time together. Evans lake is small and very private but just large enough to enjoy boating, fishing or a nice boat ride around the lake.

Fantastic Experience @ Evans Lake!

If you are looking at this property, you should not hesitate. We vacationed here with two families (4 adults and 5 children) and we had a fantastic time. Joe was great to work with and SUPER hospitable. The house was super clean and very spacious for both families. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedrooms and bathrooms were set up perfectly for our families. The outdoor setting was awesome and I'll tell you, the pictures don't do it justice...a full panoramic view from the north end of the lake with multiple places to sit in the sun and the shade to take it all in. The kids had an absolute blast on/off the dock...perfect depth for the younger kids to play without having to worry about depth and my son constantly had a large mouth bass on his line. We rented the pontoon for the week and the kids had so much funny tubing and swimming in the lake. Patriot Pub and Grub was a fun little restaurant that was walkable and downtown Tecumseh is just a short drive for some great shops, antiques, restaurants and ice cream. If you are looking at this one...I wouldn't hesitate...it won't be available long!

We loved this lake house, it was super accommodating. The owner went above and beyond to make us feel at home. We loved the Thanksgiving decorations and the touches they added around the house. We appreciate how caring and attentive the owner was. We recommend this property 100%!

What a find! This beautiful house was perfect for our family in town for a wedding. It was very spacious & clean filled with everything we needed. The host was in communication the entire time during our stay. We would rent this property again!

The view is amazing.

This house was a great place to stay. Clean and comfortable. Joe was helpful and very easy to work with. Kitchen was very well stocked with everything you need. Furniture and beds were very comfortable. The view alone is worth every penny. We also rented a pontoon from Evans Resort next door and they were great to work with too.

Great Lake Spot!

We booked this house for a Labor Day weekend trip and had a great time! The owners were easy to communicate with and super helpful and accommodating not only leading up to our stay, but during it as well. House was clean and had a ton of room. The outdoor space was even better and had plenty of room for yard games and a dock for the pontoon boat we rented. The water right in front of the house was pretty shallow and sandy which was a big plus as well! My only comment for future renters (since this is a private lake) would be to be diligent and check that you can launch a boat via Evan's Lake Marina. We had an issue when they decided to close their launch for the weekend with only a few days heads up and since we didn't rent the boat through them, they weren't very helpful or accommodating. The company we did rent though thankfully had other connections, but it caused some unnecessary panic right before the trip.

Great vacation

The house was exactly as described, plenty of room for 12 people. The kayak and the canoe were a hit for us. Communication with Joe was very easy and he was very responsive, I forgot my Apple Watch and Joe send it to us in couple of days which I really appreciate. Highly recommend the property and we will be back next year.

Great property with all essentials

Joe did a great job setting up this property for a full fletched family vacation. Kitchen was fully loaded. Kayaks and paddle boat were amazing. Lot of extras like beddings, pots and pans were really helpful. Accessibility to reach Joe was prompt. Would definitely suggest this property to my friends.

Would stay here again in a heartbeat!!!

Joe was so easy to communicate with/extremely responsive and the home was exactly as pictured. Our family had a fabulous weekend here and especially loved all the yard space. The house came with all the essentials and included tons of board games, lounging chairs, water accessories, kayaks, and a paddle boat. The neighborhood was quiet and the lake was never too busy. I would highly recommend this house for anything who is looking for a relaxing getaway with family or friends!

Imagine you are in Paradise!!!

This cottage has it all!!! Beautiful interior decorating, comfortable furniture, all sorts of amenities (Keurig machine, infant tub, electric back massage chair cushion, kayaks, paddle-boat)), and stunning grounds!! The scenery is breath-taking!! It is private, quiet, relaxing and a perfect vacation site!!

Wonderful

Very nice stay. We loved having free access to the kayaks and paddle boat and the two docks. There was a ton of space and had almost everything we needed. We felt right at home. Shopping was pretty convenient too!

Great house and location.

The house was great, very clean when we got there. There is a fire place and grill which had both duraflame and charcoal provided. Plenty of sleeping and seating space, fully stocked kitchen, three kayaks with life jackets. Joe and Al answered all my messages very quickly and were accommodating. Great place for groups!

Great place on Evans Lake

This property was beautiful. One of the biggest yards and lake frontage on the lake. House was beautifully updated with some parts still feeling like a lake cottage. Kitchen well stocked with everything you’d need. Plenty of room for the whole family to spread out and relax. Kayaks and paddle boat were a nice touch. Owners were very nice and accessible. All round great place! Would definitely come back.
