Great location for rafting

Perfect for a 1 night stay prior to rafting down the Gauley. Easy to get in, great location and host responded fast.

It was such a cute and clean little place. We took a few hikes that were Beautiful and drove down by the the New River Gorge Bridge and walked around. Such Beautiful Scenery.

Birthday celebration

Very clean and spacious! Close to where we needed to be New River Gorge. Staff at Biscuit World was great plus the breakfast!!! Had dinner at Fire Creek and it was delicious!

The Ansted apartment was located on Main St in Ansted, a small town several miles from New River Gorge NP and several rafting outfitters which were convenient for our 3 day stay. The apartment was clean and had all the amenities that a family or group would need to be comfortable. Communication was very good and fast with the host who was able to make several suggestions for us. We would gladly stay there again if we were in the area.

Close to whitewater rafting

We stayed here the night before rafting the Upper Gauley! Really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back next year.

Perfect location

These apartments are conveniently located near New River Gorge's northern end. You are just minutes away from the bridge overlook and practically within walking distance to Hawks Nest State Park. We live in a house in the woods so my kids loved being within walking distance of Walgreens, Dollar General, and ice cream. There is even a hiking trailhead within walking distance. The apartment itself is clean and comfortable with plenty of space for a family to spread out. I was worried about road noise and/or noise from other guests but it wasn't an issue at all. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great place to stay!

This place was perfect for our family of 3—plenty of space to spread out and relax between activities and it had everything we needed. Very clean and cutely decorated. The hosts were wonderful and very communicative. It was also an amazing location…coffee shop, gas station, and Walgreens across the street, Dollar General and ice cream shop within a short walk. It was also close to the National Park trails and Adventures on the Gorge (high ropes and rafting). We loved it and are already planning a longer stay in the future!

Brief stay before whitewater

We needed a place for friends who were traveling from various directions to meet and stay before heading to run the river over the weekend. This place was perfect. Close to Fayetteville for rafting and close to Hawks Nest for hiking. In fact there’s a trailhead within 100 yards from the front door. Place was clean and cozy and well stocked. Thanks.

Great, clean place. Close to a lot!

We had a great time in West Virginia! We picked Ansted as it was close to a lot of things. About 25 minutes to the adventure park we did excursions at, 30 minutes to Summerville Lake and quiet. Only issue was the neighbors coming and going all night kept my teenagers up. Place was spotless clean when we arrived.

Lovely apartment in the middle of everything

This adorable apartment is a hidden gem and is a great home base for enjoying all kinds of things in this part of West Virginia, like Summersville Lake (20 mins), Hawks Nest State Park (5 mins), Cantrell Rafting (20 mins), Beckley (45 mins), Fayetteville (20 mins), ACE Waterpark (25 mins), horseback riding (10 mins), and more. The apartment was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed, including a well-appointed kitchen.

The owners were always available every time we contacted them the people in the town were always nice even the sheriff helped us find the place when we got there it wasn't crowded it was a very nice area we loved it

Excellent place to stay near the new river gorge

This was a great place to stay for a trip to visit the new river gorge. Very clean and secure place within a short driving distance from plenty of activities. Would definitely visit again.

Clean

The place was very clean and loved the setup and decor. As soon as we walked in, it smelled very fresh and clean, which is a must! Nice location and not far from all the adventures and hiking. Only Con Is we had to switch bedrooms because the room closest to the kitchen got very hot at night due to the location of the air. But other room was fine.

Perfect getaway

This was a perfect little gem in a friendly little town! The hosts left a welcome gift which was so sweet! Highly recommend! It was literally 20 minutes from everything we wanted to do! Easy to get in for checkin, convenient to all of the rafting and adventure places. We went on a holiday weekend so most everything was closed in town but we definitely enjoyed our stay and would use them in the future!
