We had a wonderful stay. Everything was very clean and neat. Everyone we met was very nice. The cabin was close to everything we wanted to do. We drove from Kentucky and we thought West Virginia is a beautiful state. So much to see. We can't wait to go back!

This cottage was a great base from which to explore the Gorge and surrounding areas. Your are about 15 minutes from the Canyon Rim visitor center which leads to the excellent collection of East side sights and just a few minutes from the Cunard boat access area or the Kaymoor Top access areas on the West side. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was amply supplied. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would rent this property again when we make another visit.

The house was very nice and spacious for a 2 bedroom house. It was charmingly decorated with a wonderful color scheme. It felt more like a home than a stay away vacation location. It was very clean and the air conditioning worked very well. The 2 beds were very comfortable and easily fit two 6 footers in one bed. It was a very quiet neighborhood. One night due to strong thunderstorms and tornadoes in the area, the electric power went out, the couch was used as a bed and that too was very comfortable for a 6 footer with a cranky back. It was very quiet and centrally located to all of activities that the kids did. The house had a great nice porch too, we didn’t use the fire pit or the outside grill option. I would highly recommend this house and would stay here again. Overall a great location for the area. Great kitchen with a great laundry too. Nice bathroom with great lighting. The hosts were attentive and easy to work with. This is a highly recommended place to stay, I give it 5 stars out of 5 stars, top notch.
