Serenity Cottage is a newly remodeled studio cottage at Misty Mountain Lodge & Cabins, tucked in the scenic Trackrock area of Blairsville, Georgia. Set beside a quiet brook and pond, this cozy cottage is ideal for couples, solo travelers, or guests looking for an easy-access North Georgia mountain getaway.

Newly remodeled inside and out, Serenity is one of our easiest cabins to reach, with flat parking directly in front of the cottage and only a few steps to the covered porch. Inside, guests will find a comfortable queen bed, kitchenette, two recliners, big screen TV, modern HVAC, and a wood-burning fireplace for cozy mountain evenings.

Step outside with your morning coffee or evening drink and enjoy the covered front porch, peaceful pond, mountain air, and quiet surroundings. Guests also have access to more than 4 acres of manicured lawn and wooded property, including gazebos, grills, fire pits, swings, benches, and outdoor gathering areas.

The cottage is easy to access from Town Creek School Road while still feeling private and tucked away behind the lodge. Misty Mountain is located near Alexander’s Store and Sundance Gallery in the Trackrock area, just minutes from Blairsville, Vogel State Park, the Appalachian Trail, waterfalls, wineries, Lake Nottely, scenic drives, and an easy day trip to Helen, Blue Ridge, Hiawassee, and Dahlonega.

Pet-friendly stays may be allowed with host approval and compliance with our pet policy.

Whether you’re here to relax, hike, explore, visit wineries, attend a local event, or simply enjoy a quiet mountain escape, Serenity Cottage offers a comfortable and convenient North Georgia home base.

Wonderful place to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay over the Christmas holiday. The hosts were really nice and informative. Check in and out was very easy. We will definitely be back soon.

Great Weekend Getaway

This was our second stay in this adorable little cottage. We love the area and the hosts are wonderful. It was also great that we could bring our little puppy. There are some great places to eat in the area and it’s perfect for relaxing. We plan to return again.

Extremely neat and clean. Perfect size for two + a fur baby!

From booking to check-in to stay to check out, seamless. Owners were very attentive and accessible. Loved the chickens and ducks. Definitely will stay again and have already referred family.

Wonderful location!

I chose this property due to other solo traveling females stating how safe and comfortable they felt here, and I completely agree! I stayed in the Serenity cottage, which had a little pond view and private fire pit. There are also chickens and ducks on the property which I enjoyed. It’s a great location and close to downtown, as well as many other attraction locations. I have already recommended this property to many people and would absolutely stay again! Thank you so much!

Anniversary get away.

The cozy cabin was very nice set up had every the you need for a weekend getaway.the area was quite and the chicken and ducks were a nice touch very friendly animals. And when i broke my phone and couldn't log in to vrbo or email i text the Property owners about check out they got back to us in a very Quick reply. I Recommend. Them for a good place for a getaway

Lovely

So cute and relaxing . Very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Property manager extremely helpful. Loved that I was sent information via email of things and places to go. The hands free check in and not having to keep up with a key was wonderful. The binder provided all the information you might need.

Vacation 2021

Misty mountain inn and cottages is a great get away from the hustle and bustle of every day coty life. My wife and i enjoyed our stay very much, the cabin and the property was well manicured and very clean. The hosts Sarah and Bill are very friendly and helpful. We recommend this place as well as " the hole in the wall" in downtown Blairsville for breakfast. We hope this helps you make a decision. We WILL be back cheers The Sisson's

Found Serenity at Serenity

My daughter and I enjoyed our private stay at Serenity. The chickens and ducks, which were let out of the nearby coop daily, were an added bonus. Our Jack Russell and Dachshund were too old to give them much grief, but they sure enjoyed the workouts when they tried. Our senior dogs found their inner "puppy" again! This was our first attempt at vacationing with our dogs, and we were pleased with the accommodations, which seemed to be made for a family and their beloved dogs. The cabins and B&B have a nice "track" around them with with beautiful lush views and a quaint water feature (which the ducks make good use of). We made several laps around the property and had no problem getting our steps in daily. Fireflies are abundant when night falls. The solitude and peace makes all the worries of real life melt away. We highly recommend Misty Mountain. The cabin is only a few miles from Vogel State Park, which is also a perfect place for pets. There are easy-to-hike trails with plenty of resting places. There's a waterfall trail that's well worth the hike. The cabin is also a short distance from Helen, where we went tubing early in the morning to beat the crowds. We had lunch at Big Daddy's where the burgers are phenomenal. We also got to travel the scenic route on 348 and highly recommend that route for traveling to Helen. It has many stopping places for full doggy bladders. (And yours, too). We recommend Misty Mountain. You can't go wrong by booking here!

Short getaway

Perfect. Loved everything about the place. Location was good for hiking and exploring the area. The cottage had everything I needed. I felt safe which is important to a woman traveling alone. Brought my dog with me for her first big trip from home and she did good. I was worried she would bark at noise from outside but we never heard anything. Very quiet surroundings. Checkout was super easy. I can see myself and Daisy Mae returning for more adventures in the future.

Cozy and Relaxing!

I loved the Serenity cottage ! Very homey and nicely appointed. Nothing like rocking on the porch and taking it easy. Great fireplace. Absolutely perfect for me and my dog. Owner Bill very nice and accommodating. Hope to return!

Perfect

The owners of the property were very nice and curteous and even allowed us to check in early. The property was very well cleaned and maintained and we will definately be coming back for years to come and bringing our kids. I would def recommend this property to couples without kids or anyone for that matter.

Fabulous experience!

Thank you Bill and Sarah and their wonderful children for being so welcoming! My stay at Serenity was amazing! The cabin is cute, spacious and super clean! The location is central to everything from state parks, waterfalls, mountain peaks, fine dining and peace and quiet! I enjoyed the added touches from bonfires to walking sticks to watching all the visitors sitting around the fire and kids playing games! I look forward to visiting again! We purchased Misty Mountain with the intent of managing the property as a family affair with all members (all 4 kids included) learning aspects of the business. Our motto is "Rest, Renew, and Trail On" and it is our goal to provide quality lodging for those wanting to enjoy a relaxing mountain setting with numerous recreational opportunities. We want guests to arrive with rest and renewal in mind while they spend time on the trails, lodging in our cottages, and seeking outdoor adventures in the mountains. It is our hope you leave more energized than when you arrived. We look forward to calling Georgia our home and hosting you as our guest.

We love this property as it is close to Blairsville, which has some of the nicest people we've ever met. Misty Mountain is also really close to all the out door amenities this area has to offer. We have the best of both worlds!
