LAKE LURE WILL NOT BE OPEN FOR RECREATIONAL BOATING, FISHING, OR SWIMMING IN THE 2025 SEASON. Although the lake is closed and lowered while Hurricane Helene cleanup continues, there is much that our beautiful foothills area has to offer. LAKE ADGER, LAKE LANIER, SHUMONT LAKE, and MIRROR LAKE suffered no damage, so homes and those lakes are available. BALD MOUNTAIN LAKE in the resort is open and beautiful. We are welcoming guests in over 60 beautiful homes to use as a "home base" for visiting nearby towns, restaurants, shops, hiking areas, and seasonal special events in Lake Lure, Hendersonville, Asheville, Black Mountain, Saluda, and Tryon. Golf is open to the public at Rumbling Bald, and local area wineries, breweries, trails, and music are within an hour's drive. Many of the Chimney Rock shops are set up at the Tryon International Equestrian Center Pavilion. Chimney Rock Park is now open!

There is tons of patio furniture with a fire table, porch swings, rocker gliders, a ping pong table, and a brand new HOT TUB on the lower deck! Enjoy roasting marshmallows around the large wood-burning fire pit in the fenced backyard. Convenient access to Lake Lure, local restaurants, grocery stores, Chimney Rock Village, and so much more!
