River Run Village Condo is Only a Short Walk to Gondola, Shops and Dining!

This 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo sleeps 6 with a king bed, two twin beds, and a queen sleeper sofa. It features beautiful mountain views from the private balcony, upscale decor, granite countertops in the full size kitchen and private / in unit washer and dryer! Ideally located in River Run Village so you’re just steps away from shopping, restaurants and local festivities. Plus, guests can walk to the high-speed gondola. Red Hawk Lodge offers shared amenities including an outdoor pool and two hot tubs.

The entryway has mounted hooks and a bench for your convenience while coming and going throughout the day. The living area features a mounted flat screen HD TV next to a beautiful gas fireplace, ample seating and a sleeper sofa. Additional sheets and blankets are in a closet. The private balcony is just off the living area and offers outdoor seating and beautiful mountain views.

The full-sized kitchen is stocked with all the essential cookware and tableware to make a meal away from home and features granite countertops throughout. The dining area comfortably seats four. The first of two full bathrooms is just off of the living area and has a great shower/tub combination. Both bathrooms are stocked with towels and an initial supply of toiletries.

The primary bedroom features a king-sized bed and a mounted flat screen TV. The en suite bathroom has double sinks, a shower/tub combination and a door separates the toilet area for added privacy. The guest bedroom features two twin-sized beds and a TV located in the cabinet on the wall opposite the beds.

Please note: To reserve this property, the reservation holder must be at least 24 years old at the time of booking.

Enjoy extra soft oversized towels and high quality bed linens that have a subtle satin stripe pattern for a look of elegance. Love the place and location, but encountered several hassles. Bathroom doors was locked upon arrival (Couldn't access), Dishwasher was broken by staff before our arrival and not reported (Hand-washed all dishes), Pool was closed and elevator was shut-down (Turns out there are no stairs to the garage). Even with these issues, it was good to getaway!

My daughter and I loved having a pool and hot tubs to enjoy in the evening. We took full advantage of the hiking and biking opportunities close by. Management was responsive when I texted that I could not get a window locked when checking out.I feel refreshed after the mini vacation.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Property was adequate to our needs. Beds were good, but kitchen appliances were dated. Door latch on master bedroom door was defective, so door would not stay closed. Management company entered the property while we were gone to replace the existing coffee maker (not at our request) and did not send us any notification that they would be coming into the property and left no note that they had been there. This was very disconcerting! Also surprising since I received multiple notifications of my checkout time. Most troubling was the double charge by VRBO and Summit County for trip/damage insurance. Apparently when you try to protect yourself by purchasing travel insurance its an open invitation to be double charged. I will not recommend this property to a friend due to the management company.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This rental was acceptable but certainly not great. The carpets are very stained and gross, the TVs are extremely outdated and awkwardly mounted, there are not enough drinking glasses, and there are some cheap amenities like tiny, low quality shampoo etc that just don’t make sense in one of the premium buildings of the Keystone resort. The lobby lounge area of the building is very used and worn, and one of the two hot tubs did not have any heat. On the positive side, the management company was very friendly and professional. Also the building is in great proximity to the ski lifts. Overall, it is a livable place to stay, but next time I will look for something with more confirmation of cleanliness and quality.

Great Condo With breathtaking Views

It is on a corner, views are grand. The small patio is comfy. The bed is SUPER comfy. This was a bonus. The condo needs an update but not too much. Plates are pretty worn, duvet & bed decor pillows are outdated. No parking instructions, but we figured it out. Loved having our car parked below, inside. Couldn't figure out TV. It would've been nice to have, but we survived. Walking distance to Octoberfest. Super nice! Loved it here. Would stay again.

Overall the place was great. The kitchen was fully stocked (fridge is loud). The trash bag doesn't fit the trash can so it kept falling in, no recycling. The living room is large and comfy. Could take out that nasty white fluffy rug and extra lamps (too much). The couch and pillows have feathers so they poke you here and there. The bed if FABULOUS. Very comfortable. Don't need all those pillows for decor specially when they are ugly. Comforter is ugly too. But the bed itself is amazing. No AC but the fans they provide were enough to keep it cool. Couldn't figure out the TV. Someone left in cable mode and nothing we did would take it out. So, that was a bummer. Outside, there is a strong smell of gas, we noticed a vent close to the patio, maybe it was from there? Great location close to Octoberfest event. No directions for parking garage. Was lucky enough to meet up with another guest that knew how to get there. This should've been detailed out instead of giving the template parking instructions. The good outweighs these little things. Really enjoyed the place. Great views. Needs updating (floor tile on bathroom walls, 90's floor, way too many towels, blankets flared (weird)), but it meets the need!

Our second stay at Red Hawk

The condo itself was very well maintained and had comfortable furnishings. The building itself does not contain noise well and for two if the days we were there children’s we’re running and screaming above us as late as 12am. Also the south elevator that was the main access to our room broke down well over 36 hours. This would’ve been ok but I have trouble with stairs. It was also impossible to control how warm the condo was. I couldn’t get it under 74-75 degrees at night which was very uncomfortable..

Tired apartment, needs upgrading

List of problems- Faucet leaks, we informed management Dish washer is not fixed property Casing on microwave is broken We have been coming regularly over the last 25 years , this is the first time the cleaners did not come in mid week. In the past, they have replenished the coffee and hair shampoo but this time they only left enough at the beginning of the week for 3 days. If they are not replenishing supplies then they should leave enough for the duration of the rental. Overall, we felt that the apartment and the building is starting to feel tired and needs some money spent on it. Having said that, it is a fabulous location .

Unprofessional and dirty

I am so disappointed in this vrbo experience. When we arrived at the property around 7pm the balcony door was wide open and the condo was freezing. It was apparent the condo was not cleaned. The bathroom off the living room had dirty towels all over the floor and no clean towels. There was hair and pee all over the toilet seats, there were dirty tissues on the shelves. It’s just a bummer because we were so excited to have this nice place to come stay at and it was filthy. All we were offered is 10% off our next stay. This is so unprofessional and I’m so disappointed.

Overall, a great experience, great place.

Loved so much about it. Although, the ice maker did not work well at all. We bought ice. And, we lost water for many hours and lost hot water for 24 hours. That was inconvenient and uncomfortable. I assume that doesn't happen often though!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo is at a great location. Has the morning sun & afternoon shade to sit on the balcony & enjoy the beautiful view. It has a wonderful pantry and washer/dryer which few of the units there have. You can walk to River Run Village in just a few minutes. The only thing difficult was the big round table & chairs that takes up a lot of space & a little difficult getting around it in the small area. We enjoyed it so much though that we booked it again for next year. Summit County is a great company to work with. We have rented 4 units through them and they have been excellent to work with every time.
