Cozy spot just a few steps from the pier and less than a block from the beach. The unit was clean and well stocked with towels, dishes, etc. The supplied beach toys were a nice treat and we even took the boogie boards out for a spin on the water. It was quiet during the evenings, which provided a nice recovery spot from days spent out in Ocean Beach. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location

We stayed at this condo for my son’s birthday trip to the beach. It served its purpose well, literal steps from the beach and pier. Within walking distance of many restaurants. There were even beach chairs, toys, and towels available for use.

Great place close to everything

We spent a lot of time at mission beach which is 10 min away. Also went to Sea World and San Diego Zoo which are both extremely close. Host was very communicative and helpful with everything. Check in was snotty and well thought through.

Beach House was perfect

The place is very comfortable. A few things could use repair like the bathtub (drain plunger doesn’t keep water in the tub) and the washer but other than that it was a perfect stay in Ocean Beach!

A very close stay to the ocean

The property was ok. Biggest benefit is the proximity to the ocean. It has been minimally updated to for renting. Since it’s a downstairs unit we got a lot of noise from the upstairs tenants. Unfortunately for us the beach was not year good for kids. Mostly just a surf spot of beach volleyball place. Downtown Ocean Beach has a very large vagrant population now that made being out and about a bit uncomfortable, especially at night.

Good place to land

We had a lot planned during our week in Southern California, and we were looking for a place to sleep, eat, and have breakfast. We had everything we needed at the Beach House to get us ready for our next excursion. It is literally less than a block to walk to the ocean and the pier, so that was fun in the morning and at sunset. We didn’t spend a lot of time in Ocean Beach itself because it didn’t seem like a family destination but there are several restaurants that look fun, and the Beach House is minutes away from stores that had essentials we ended up needing. Our youngest (9) was a bit big for sleeping on the loveseat in the master bedroom and no one wanted to sleep in the living room, but otherwise we were comfortable. We are thankful we were able to do laundry, store and cook our food, and chill with some Netflix in our downtime.

Born and raised in San Diego. Went to college on the East coast but just love San Diego so much I came back to make my life here and don’t see me ever leaving! I am a huge foodie and love craft beer so I can definitely give you lots of recommendations on what’s good to eat and drink just about anywhere in town. On my days off you can find me on the beach or checking out all the many hiking trials around the county.

I am always happy and available to pick up my phone and answer any questions or respond to any request during your stay. Do not hesitate to reach out through Airbnb Messaging or the contact details I leave at the home in a binder when you arrive.

This newly renovated condo has a bright modern feel with cozy relaxing decor. It features a nice little breakfast nook to sip on a morning cup of coffee and look out into the lush and green quiet courtyard. Bring a bike to stroll through the beach and then store it inside the complex dedicated bike racks.

My guests are welcome to use the shared common spaces belonging to the complex. These include a BBQ area for grilling and patio furniture for dining al fresco. There are also bike racks that can be used for safe storage of bicycles.

この宿泊施設の特徴

Ocean Beach is one of the most vibrant communities in San Diego. It retains its communal and small beachtown feel while still providing so many different things to explore from food to sights and sounds. We have farmers markets on Wednesdays, famous restaurants like OB noodle house and Hodads, several local breweries, and one of the best views on the shoreline to watch a sunset. It is also just a short ride away from all the best attractions San Diego has to offer.

The place is within walking distance of everything you could need. Tons of restaurants and coffee spots (artisanal and Starbucks), major banks (Chase, Wells Fargo, US Bank), pharmacies (CVS and Rite-Aid), supermarkets (both small and large like Target). There is a bus stops that takes you into downtown that is located down the street. The home has one dedicated off-street parking spot but there are many paid and free parking lots nearby or the street when available is always an option preferably early morning or late night to find one.
