Brand New Lake-House Chalet/Lake Views/Best Location For All of NH-Lakes Region

Brand new (just completed last year; not renovated) 2 bedroom/2 bath lake-house styled apartment. Located directly across the street from Winnipesaukee on popular Scenic Drive in Gilford. Enjoy fabulous lake views and walkable beach access to Ellacoya state beach. All of Winnipesaukees' destinations (The Wiers, Wolfeboro, Meredith, Fun Spot, Drive-in, Golf, Skiing, Mini Golf, Restaurants Gunstock Mt. Alpine Slide) are minutes from this location.

The Chalet is a detached residence, separated from the owners primary residence (250 feet away) for excellent guest privacy. Enjoy the true feeling of a lake/mountain destination for a week-long family get-a-way or a relaxing couples weekend. The unit comes fully appointed with complete kitchen/appliances, large washer/dryer, two TV's, linens, wifi, and gas grill. If cleanliness is a concern, be reminded that this is a brand new residence and is thoroughly cleaned after each stay. The owners are on property for advice/assistance only when requested. Please also note there is a recorded property security camera for the non-rented space focused on the driveway and parking area. This is located underneath the deck to the left of the Chalet entry stair.

MAXIMUM NUMBER FOR OVERNIGHT GUESTS IS 5 (FIVE). PLEASE DO NOT BOOK IF YOU HAVE MORE THAN 5 IN YOUR PARTY. PLEASE READ ALL HOUSE RULES.

Great location right by the lake

The check in process was a breeze and the place was very clean. Great location, super close to marinas, weir beach, popular restaurants and bars. Definitely recommend!

Perfect stay

This place is brand new and one of the cleanest rental we have stayed. It is well stocked with everything we need. And the location is perfect. We enjoyed the beautiful lake view everyday. The owner was super nice and helpful. We will definitely come back.

Lakeside Retreat

Rob and Lynette are wonderful hosts. This is a terrific lakeside retreat with wonderful, elevated views of Lake Winnipesaukee. The furnishings are terrific and the interior of the unit is beautifully appointed. Highly recommended!

The view is absolutely stunning, the house is beautiful and comfortable. Location is perfect, close to everything you need, but also very private. Hated for our time to end.

Relaxing getaway

Rob and Lynette were welcoming hosts to their chalet. The space was beautifully decorated. The large windows facing the lake gave lovely lighting and gorgeous views. While the inside was comfortable and had all the needed amenities we enjoyed many hours enjoying sitting on the outside deck as well as enjoying walks in the neighborhood.

House was located at a wonderful place and ecru clean and well stocked. Rob was wonderfully friendly and helpful. One bedroom did not have bunk beds but a pull out bed which worked fine for my kids.

What struck us most was the fabulous silence!

This was a lovely getaway. The property is gorgeous with a spectacular view of the lake.I brought a small telescope and got some great sky views from the wonderful deck. As city/suburban dwellers what struck us most was the fabulous silence. Robert and Lynette were great hosts, not intrusive but always available to make our stay great! Everything was there to add up to a great stay. We definitely recommend and hope to come again.

Weekend ski getaway

My family (husband and 5 year old twins) and I had a wonderful weekend stay here. It’s a great location whether you want to ski Gunstock in the winter or spend time at the Lake in the summer. Beautiful views of the Lake from the kitchen, family room and balcony in the front of the chalet. We drove up after 8 inches of snow had fallen and the driveway, walkway, and stairs up to the chalet had been cleaned for us. The owners are on property and easily accessible if you have any problems or questions. We highly recommend this rental property and will definitely be back for a future stay!

Outstanding lake retreat

Lake vacation

This chalet has a great view of the lake and is well kept with all the essentials you need. It is located near many good restaurants and things to do in and around the lake. The owner was very friendly and offered any help if we needed it. We very much enjoyed our stay and would come back to this property.

Great location, immaculate chalet

Very clean, new chalet comfortably set back from the road for privacy and still convenient access along the well named Scenic Drive. Just a skip away from Ellacoya State park which we enjoyed day trips more than once in the week. If you are looking for a nicely located vacation spot and don’t need it to be waterfront property on Lake Winnipesaukee, this will do nicely.

I challenge you to find location with a better view. Everything is as advertised. Short drive to slopes or restaurants. Would definitely book again.

We are originally from MA but have been also lived on Winnipesaukee for decades. We built our most recent home here in 2011 and decided in 2021 to build a new detached chalet for rental with garages underneath for our private storage. We currently reside in this Gilford home full-time and will be on property when you rent from us. We love the lakes region and are knowledgeable on what to do and see in NH.

Location, Location, Location! If you want to enjoy all of Lake Winnipesaukee, Gunstock Mountain, or the Lakes Region then this location if perfect for you. The chalet offers privacy and lake views but also easy access to all the great locations in the area. We are located on Scenic Drive in Gilford which is one of the best walking roads to enjoy fabulous lake views.
