Welcome to this wonderful vacation destination on the beautiful Topsail Island, NC.
This 3-story townhome has 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths and 5 decks with fabulous views of the Atlantic Ocean, the Chadwick Bay and Atlantic Intra-Coastal Waterway (ICW).
This unit is part of the close-knitted Shipwatch Villas neighborhood, you will enjoy both private community beach access (2-3 minutes walking to beach) and a gazebo on the bay/sound side for family gathering, fishing, crabbing and kayak launching, both with raised wooden walkways.
The two large bedrooms enjoy their dedicated decks while the third room now has one bunk bed (bottom full size and top twin size) and another twin size bed. These enables this property to easily host a group up to 7-8 guests (please note this property is normally expecting 4-5 guests).
While the large kitchen allows you to demonstrate your cooking skills, you may also drive for a short distance to nearby attractions, such as the nice Ocean's Edge restaurant at St. Regis, and the Tiki Bar/Mart close to the north end of the beach. Shopping for groceries and beach essentials can be done with a short drive too across the river at Sneads Ferry or at nearby Surf City.
You may have some opportunities to spot turtle nests and please observe all protection measures for wildlife's on the island.
During summer seasons, guests should normally check in after 4 pm on Saturday and check out next Saturday before 10 am. This will leave sufficient time for the owner to perform a thorough cleanup.

The property was even better than advertized. The views of the ocean ,beach and the intercoastal was superb. Each was even closer than anticipated. The owner was very quick to communicate with me before our trip and made me feel very confident in my choice of property. He was very personable and friendly. The stay was phenominal and I would give higher than 5 Stars if I could. Lovely clean villa.

This is a great location, sound and beach views. The sound has the best sunsets! The unit needs some TLC. If you plan to sit on the back or front deck, bring your own chairs.My family would definitely stay in any of these units again.

Topsail’s family getaway

We really enjoyed our stay, sound side gave beautiful sunsets. Loved all the balconies. The option to use the kayaks were awesome, even though we had brought our paddle boards and just ran out of time to use them all. Decent sized kitchen and dining area on main unit was perfect for our family. Although, my Dad in his 60’s didn’t enjoy the stairs all that much it was worth it.

Great location in North Topsail! Beach access was right across the street and there are several good restsurants in the N Topsail/Surf City area.

Great location

The property was clean, decorated nicely and set up for a family. Anything that is needed was already at the property. It is a quiet and peaceful location, except for the occasional person in a Dodge Charger or a diesel truck woo bowing up and down the little road. The locals and the permanent residents were all very friendly and nice, as were the other guests vacationing as well. That particular part of the island is only a few hundred yards wide, so the beach and the gazebo are literally right there. The gazebo is set in the inlet and offers good fishing and views. We caught pinfish, croakers, red drum and other fish that I have no idea what were. You can see sea turtles, alligators, snakes, crabs, oyster beds, ospreys and other various birds right from the gazebo. I saw some of the other guests catch flounder and blue crabs as well.The ocean and beach was very nice as well. There are plenty of shells, shark teeth and things like that right on the beach. The water is a beautiful blue/emerald color and clear and was about 85 degrees in late July. The beaches weren't overcrowded, mostly compromised of families and people surf fishing. There isn't very much on the island itself besides dwellings and stuff, not a bunch of tourist junk, which I appreciate. The host had good communication and checked on us through VRBO several times during our stay. All in all it is a very laid back and peaceful beach vacation and I would recommend it to anyone and would go back myself.

Location, location, location

We loved our stay and chose this home mainly for location on the quieter North end of Topsail and the home having both inter-coastal/sound access and beach access. Beach was just steps away. Kayaks were a huge bonus. Having views of the ocean on one side of the house and sound on the other side with the most amazing sunset views was also a treat! Kitchen had everything we need as we mostly cooked our own meals, beds were a little firm for our preference but is not a deal breaker in coming back. Jon was prompt and clear in communication. We look forward to coming back! THANK YOU Jon for the opportunity to stay in your home in Topsail and create wonderful family memories

Great townhome, great location, great host!

This is the perfect spot for a family getaway. Amazing views, easy beach access right across the street, a fully stocked kitchen, and room, inside and out, for everyone to have their own space, including a nice yard and a private gazebo on the ICW. Jon makes check in and out seamless and easy and is quick to respond to any questions. My two teens have let me know this is the spot to stay when we visit N. Topsail!

Great property for friends and family. Short walk to the beach and the sound on the backside. Located a way from busy spots but close enough to shoot into town to grab what you need.

Excellent experience!

This property was perfect for our beach vacation. It was a quick walk to the beach (about a min). Was very clean! And, the kitchen had the supplies needed. We cooked in for all meals except one. The ice maker came in handy! Would recommend staying at this property!

Our Topsail vacation did not disappoint, the townhouse was perfect for my family of 5 and my parents. It had amazing views of both the ocean and the sound. Exactly what we needed to relax and enjoy family time. So thankful for this gem!

Wonderful summer vacation

Location was great, easy access to beach and inter coastal waterway. House is beautiful with all basic amenities and full kitchen setup. Jon, the host, was very nice and responsive to questions and concerns. The only downside was the bunk bed. It made noise with every movement. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return in the future.

Best location!

We have stayed in this townhouse community before and it has the best views in North Topsail! This unit is beautifully furnished and updated. Everything is well-stocked and the hosts were easy to contact and super-friendly and helpful. We’ll be back!

A great beach stay!

What a great place! We were a family of 5 + 2 grandparents and we had plenty of room. The property was clean, beds comfortable and the kitchen had everything you need. It is a great location - sit on the front balcony with a view towards the ocean, then out back on the waterways. A quick hop across the street to the beach via the private HOA access point, which meant this section of the beach was relatively quiet. Jon was extremely helpful throughout the process - we had to call on him once for an item and he responded instantly. I would recommend this property to friends in a heartbeat.

Great, quiet location for family getaway!

This home is perfect for a family (I had my two teenage boys with me). The third floor primary suite is heavenly and views to the intracoastal and ocean make the home ideal. A minute’s walk and you’re to the beach. We cooked in for of our meals and the kitchen had everything we needed for our three night stay. The boys used the grassy common area to play and enjoyed the covered gazebo on the intracoastal in the evenings. Overall a wonderful stay!

A great fall week it Topsail Beach

I would highly recommend this townhome and would definitely book again in the future! The location is the best because you are steps away from the beach (not even a block), the road noise is quiet, it is close to Sneads Ferry and Surf City, and you have 5 views of the ocean and sound. This is our second stay at Shipwatch villas. This unit was super clean and beds were comfy. The kitchen is big and has lots of pots, pans and utensils. There is wi-fi and cable (you can plug in your streaming services to the t.v.). Appliances are all new. Floors all look new:) The only thing I might recommend is to bring more hand and dish towels. Square footage is just right and didn't feel small. The beach was not overcrowded. We never heard noise from neighbors either.

Family Beach Vacation

We had a wonderful stay. The location is perfect for beach lovers. Just a short walk across a quiet street and we were on the beach in just 2-3 minutes. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you could possible need to make your favorite meals. Although there is no grilling allowed there is a large electric pan perfect for making hamburgers, hot dogs and steaks. The house was clean and it was a plus that the linens and towels were included and the comfortable beds made up on arrival. I highly recommend this beach house and would stay again in the future. Thanks Jon for being so responsive to inquiries.

We purchased this as our 2nd home for family vacation purposes. We are local to this area. We have been looking for such a property for a long time and finally secured a deal with this unit. We love the unique combination of easy access to the fabulous Topsail Beach and serenity views of the Chadwick Bay / Sound areas. We can go swimming, surfing at the beach, or go fishing and kayaking at the sound areas. If we are tied of the active sports, we can use any of the 5 decks to enjoy the nice views. This property surely will be our family's future gathering place.
