この施設について

Beautiful cottage near Lake Michigan.

The Crane's Nest is a beautiful 3 bedroom, one bath cottage near Lake Michigan and located in the Lake Michigan Beach area. Newly remodeled. We want our guests to feel a range of emotions when entering The Crane's Nest. Cozy, comfortable, relaxing, nautical and romantic. This cottage is fully stocked with supplies for campfires, grilling, cooking and games for the whole family. We are one mile south of Roadside Park (public beach) and one mile north of Hagar Park (public beach). We are perfectly located between St. Joseph (9 miles south) and South haven (12 miles north). With so much to see and do in both directions.
The Crane's Nest is a Family friendly cottage. We are not large enough inside or outside for parties. We rank very high on decor, cleanliness and activities.

***********If you only need a Two bedroom, one bath, we also have Chip's Place next door. In the listings, you will see a flagstone colored house with a bear on the deck. The listing number is 2039216*****************

We enjoyed our stay. Had a cozy feel, well stocked with essentials and things that were nice to have like games, first aid kit, and spare toiletries. We would stay there again. It centrally located between St. Joe and South Haven, which was nice for exploring both towns.

This cottage is so cozy, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. Dawn has thought of everything her guests might need. The deck was private and had a nice table and chairs for dining and a grill. We are already making plans to rebook next summer.

Clean and inviting house was perfect for our "sisters vacation"! The couches looked new and were comfy, as were the beds. Kitchen was well stocked and Dawn was kind enough to leave some snacks and breakfast treats (individually wrapped doughnuts, etc) for us to enjoy. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood and we were easily able to travel to several of the shoreline cities from our home base. Would love to come back again!

Mrs Dawn was amazing. There was a bad storm that came through the day before checkin knocking out the power. She kept us informed every step of the way and that power came back on 30 minutes or so before we arrived. She was there finalizing cleaning and cooling it down. The care and attention she gives is crazy. From the coffee bar that was prepped and ready to treats like donut bars, coffee cakes and granola bars, to even having stuff for snores ready for the fire pit. For the price, location, time and attention from the host, I definitely recommend your stay here.

Wonderful accommodation, very close to public beach accesses.

Lovely cottage, personal touches and available household items were greatly appreciated. Constant four wheeling in front and around the house was a bit much at times, other than that we enjoyed our stay and will recommend to friends and family.

I was never informed of a problem with the neighbors. A simple message to me would have taken care of the problem. This is why communication is important between guests and hosts. I dont believe a 4 star rating was fair since I had no knowledge and therefore no control over the situation.
