We had a phenomenal time here! My daughter was absolutely in love with how close we were to the beach. As a mom of a 4 year old, it was also wonderful to have morning coffee on the porch. I could not imagine a better place to celebrate 10 years of marriage!

A Family Tradition

From the moment we stepped foot into your beautiful property, we fell in love with the area all over again! My great grandfather, grandfather, father and I all came to Moclips as children. This was the perfect place to introduce my own children to the beauty of the area. The owner’s attention to detail are unmatched! Beds were super comfortable, kitchen was well-stocked with dishes and pans, and even help came within the hour after discovering we didn’t have propane for the grill. We had a beautiful stay and, once the fog burned off in the afternoon, we built sandcastles and took long walks on the beach and even jumped in the waves briefly before taking hot showers on the property. Don’t miss the sunset! It was gorgeous! We had so much fun and would highly recommend staying here.

Another lovely visit to the Sunset Beach Cottage

This was my 4th visit to the Cottage, and it continues to be a comfortable, cozy retreat, with easy beach access. The neighborhood is quiet and welcoming.My friends and I enjoyed several walks on the beach, and I even flew my kite!The Cottage is always clean and comfortable.

Not exceptional but good

Nice older cabin with a peekaboo view between a couple larger homes. Updated, but still obviously an older cabin, could use a good scrub on inside window sills but mostly very clean. Kitchen was clean and we used the stove for several meals. Nice dishware and drinkware. The blackout shades were appreciated and the bed we slept in was comfortable. Pillows could be replaced. Nice deck and deck chairs but again, the deck chairs need a good scrub with a brush. Private lot, quiet neighborhood and a short walk to the beach. We had an enjoyable stay and would rate this cabin as good, but not exceptional as advertised.

Weekend Stay

We recently stayed at Sunset Beach Cottage in Moclips and had a wonderful time. The cottage was charming, clean, and comfortable, just as described. It was the perfect size for our family, including our son and daughter. The highlight was being just a short walk from the beach, which made it easy to enjoy the ocean whenever we wanted. We made some great memories and really appreciated the cozy atmosphere of the cottage. Overall, it was a lovely trip, and we would definitely stay here again.

Sunset Beach Cottage is a gem

Clean & Cozy. Proximity to beach is great. Lovely sunny deck with great ocean view. Comfortable furniture & a well stocked kitchen. Cute place. My dog and I had a great getaway there.

Spring break at the beach
