Our Sr. baseball team players had a perfect place to relax after playing in the hot sun all day. The house is very roomy, and with the three sleeping levels, there was plenty of space to find a quiet place to nap or relax, while others visited or watched TV. The kitchen was perfect, plenty of plates, the coffee maker worked perfect, the fridge is large. A very nice place to take a group, very spacious and relaxing.

We had a wonderful stay and the location was close enough to enjoy Joe Wheeler and Elk River with our grandchildren. We had fun playing corn hole and the large jenga that was provided. The kitchen had everything we needed. Outside patio was nice, could have been cleaner but that didn’t stop us from enjoying it. Overall I would recommend this property and the host was always quick to respond to any questions I had.

quiet and clean

This home was perfect for our family! Lots of beds and bathrooms, super clean, well-stocked kitchen, quiet neighborhood. It's very secluded and about 45 minutes from Huntsville, but worth the drive!

The host was super nice and accommodating. There was a cooling issue with the refrigerator on Thanksgiving morning. The host quickly handled the issue and brought us another refrigerator to the home. Also, the home was spacious and I loved that location was so peaceful.

Lakeside D&D

My friends and I picked this location as a middle ground to meet up with everyone that has moved away. We used this weekend to play a lot of dungeons and dragons in person. The dining table is the perfect table for board games.

Dads 80th Birthday with Family

The house was perfect for the family to celebrate my Dads 80th Birthday. We has a separate area for the kids downstairs and everything we needed was provided. We Gadd a wonderful view of Elk River. The wrap around porch allowed shat for my parents to view the rest of the family playing in the huge yard. The most comfortable beds. My Mom is very picky and she loved the beds. We had a great time! Can’t wait to do it again.

Great house!

Easy to find. Nice quiet neighborhood. Not much traffic so great for taking a walk/run. View of lake is beautiful. Enjoyed sitting on porch with lake view. House was perfect. The kitchen had most everything you would need. Even extra paper towels, dishwasher pods and trash bags. Bathroom also had extras. Bar soap, hand soap. Had a group of 5, plenty of towels. Oh and thanks for having laundry detergent/dryer sheets. Also there was Charcoal and lighter fluid for grill. Beds were comfy. Once the house cooled down from 80 degrees we were able to keep it cool! Check out was at 11. That gave us time for one more breakfast together. Would definitely stay here again. Host was so quick to respond. Thank you, we enjoyed our stay

The property is very nice, the amenities was great, everything you would need was available for you. I had a problem with the temperature being adjusted by the host during sleeping hours. Upstairs and downstairs get very hot and the fans along didn't suffice. The property sleeps 12, initially I had 9 ppl that were staying at the property, I had to pay more money for 3 additional children that was added at the last minute, each child had to pay an additional 20 pp/ per night, for Utilities and everything, we were away from the property the majority of the day time so lights, air, and water was not utilized. The 2nd day we we away from the property from 10 am to 730pm, so no Utilities were used. The water became cold after 5 ppl showered, so we had to wait a couple of hours for the water to get hot again to shower from fishing all day. There was only 1 tower per adult and child, only 6-7 wash/face towels. We had to go purchase more towels (face/towels). I was charged for a 4 yr old and 10 year olds. Never-the-less, we had a great time with each other fishing.
