You're staying in someone's home, which means it's extremely well appointed. A fully stocked kitchen, extra bedding, umbrellas... anything you could need is there. It makes the location that much more special. You're about a 15-minute walk from all that Notting Hill has to offer. And a 3-minute walk from a gym and practically across the street from a convenience store. The metro is a 7-minute walk away. For our mixed family - from octogenarians to a 10-year-old, this place had everything we could want.Katie was unbelievable as a host. She patiently explained the property details to our group twice (we arrived in separate caravans). She stayed in contact the entire time, offering to help with anything we could need. Not only is the place beautiful but the entire experience feels top-notch.A few notes that we wish we had known before booking: the beds on the middle floor are low to the ground, which meant the 80-year-olds had to stay in the master bedroom on the top level, up to flights of stairs. Not ideal, but we made it work. The "study" area with the futon was uncomfortable for our teenager, but we made it work with an extra mattress tucked away in the crawl space in one of the bedrooms on the second floor. Both of these were minor quibbles in the end. To get a full 5-bedroom place in Notting Hill for a reasonable price, along with all the charm that the pictures do justice to, well, it was a perfect stay.
