Superior Views

Enjoy Lake Superior sunrises and sunsets from the Master Bedroom, Living room and spacious deck. You can spend your days lounging on the sand, swimming, rock hounding and still be near Sault Ste Marie, Tahquamenon or even play a round golf at Wild Bluff. Close to hiking trails and snowmobile trails.

There is a walk out basement. At this time the basement is empty but future plans are to make it a rec room, with bar and a 4th bedroom with bathroom.

There is a shared driveway with our bunk house.

Everything was great!! House was perfect for our group. Plenty of room, wonderful deck facing the lake, very comfortable. We grilled out one night, walked on the beach and swam in the lake! House was well stocked and clean and well maintained. We had a wonderful stay!

Clean, great place for our group to stay for the weekend.The only reason one star is down is the use of scented air fresheners was everywhere - it was over powering.There was also rotting corn on the cob in the pantry....

Great clean property on Lake Superior. We enjoyed walks up and down the beach. Completed amazing engineering projects in the sand. Took day trips to Whitefish Point and the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum, and Mackinac Island. Also went to Tahquamenon Falls and then Newberry for Pizza and ice cream. Owner is great.

Summer vacation

We had a great time! The home is very spacious and Amy has it stocked with anything you could think to need! The property is beautiful! We wanted sandy beachfront and this property delivered! You can walk for miles. So peaceful sitting on the back deck listening to the waves. We cant wait to stay next year! Thank you Amy!

Location was great as was beach. The screen door let bugs in as it was not fitting properly. Both the living room and primary curtains would fall down and it needed to be mowed. Disappointed that the owner was not more faithful in upkeep.

Beautiful view

The house was very clean, the view is amazing. It was a short drive to Sault Ste. Marie, for my husband and sons fishing trip would definitely recommend this property.

Lake house rating

The house was clean and nicely supplied. The lakefront, deck and property were beautiful. Our grandchildren had such a wondeful time on the beach and swimming.

Superior Views

A good stay for our family. Very clean. Some quirks of the property but nothing that really deterred from our stay. The refrigerator was pretty loud. Walking to the water, the steps require you to go slow.

Great location on Lake Superior

Check in was very easy , property manager is very helpful and gave us good recommendations . The house was very clean, beds are very comfortable. Backyard is beautiful with Lake Superior access. Even though the last few steps that led to the lake were missing. We would come back again and will try to do later in summer as weather was cold in early June.

Superior Lodging

8 humans plus doggies. Grandkids. BBQs. Wonderful location with lots of local day trips, hikes and family fun. Property super clean with lake/beach access steps away, fire pit, and deck with incredible view of Lake Superior. Private and quiet. Loved it.

Lake Superior in the Fall

The house is surprisingly updated for such a remote area. We enjoyed the coffee bar, spacious and comfortable deck, as well as the firepit. A tree fell over the entrance to the driveway. While we were able to hold it back to pass through, the owner was out the next day to get rid of it.

Absolutely Beautiful

Absolutely beautiful location. Home has everything you need for a large gathering. We had a group of 8 and there was plenty of room for all. A lot of snow and ice at the waters edge so we weren’t able to spend much time there the view is undeniably amazing! Two of our guests slept on the pull out couches and had mentioned they were not at all comfortable for adults. Other than that small factor we would love to rent again. Thank you!!

Beautiful views

Had a relaxing weekend at this property with a friend and our dogs. We took 4-wheelers and kayaks. You can easily get to trails from the property and we most loved getting soaked in the mud puddles on the trail. We tried kayaking, but there were some pretty big waves. You need ocean kayaks or at least sit on top kayaks. The town had several restaurant options. We spent one day visiting waterfalls in Munising which as not too long of a drive. Best thing about this property is the views and the location. I would recommend.

Vacation Property Review

The property location and beach access is excellent. Everyone enjoyed the beach and backyard amenities (fire pit and home deck). The home amenities were excellent, lots of extras, and washer and dryer was nice. Unfortunately, the home was not cleaned very well. We paid for home cleaning and extra for pet cleaning. The carpet and furniture smelled of urine. I would recommend that cleaning checklist with sign offs be created and be implemented. As well, the property manager audit the checklist to ensure the home is properly cleaned before the guest arrive. Safety concerns; the smoke alarms located in the ceilings were missing and the rear deck felt very unstable ( swayed around a lot) we checked under deck and noticed some braces had been added recently. But I would recommend having it checked by a professional. And… The deck boards were in very poor condition; nails sticking up and etc. Overall, I believe the location and home could be great family vacation get away. But.. the cleaning and potential safety issues must be addressed. Thanks for opportunity give feedback that could help improve the stay for future guests.
