License number: 304402. Find yourself relaxing at the base of Crested Butte and make yourself at home in this efficient condo in the heart of the resort! There is no need to go far to spend all day shredding fresh powder, as you will be within walking distance of the lifts. For some fun away from the slopes, this resort offers a stunning shared indoor/outdoor pool, hot tub, fitness facility, and a plethora of restaurants and shops to explore. When you return to home base, the kitchenette is equipped with a one-burner stove, mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker to make whipping up snacks or storing leftovers a breeze. And, the king bed and Murphy bed will welcome you to get a bit of shuteye as you recoup for another day of fun.

THINGS TO KNOW
This condo is managed separately from the Grand Lodge and guests will need to contact us about everything from requesting additional supplies to additional housekeeping.

This rental is located on floor 3.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Location is great, lodge is very nice, basic amenities are sufficient for a short term stay. The room was just a little outdated with a very uncomfortable mattress on the Murphy bed and large burn in the carpet and draperies were not fastened on one end. Otherwise, for the convenience of ski in and ski out, price and other amenities the lodge and immediate surrounding area offered, it was worth the minor inconveniences.

The stay was great with location and bus shuttles to shopping and restaurants. However the shower ceiling, bathroom sink and shower on/ off water could use some attention. Would definitely stay here again.

Mildew!

Mildew and mold was a over the ceiling of the shower. The shower curtain and the grout of the shower. Shower wouldn’t drain as well and the handle for the shower was very loose. Other than the shower it was a fine place to stay.

By the elevator, and ice machine with a view of the roof mechanics. Dated worn carpet and the shower has mold in it. Not a mountain sight in view from this room. Pass this unit does not meet what I think would be Vacasa standards, very, very disappointed.

Cleanliness is a top priority for us and we will be addressing any areas that need our attention, such as the shower. The photos of this home clearly show the view from the window and guests can see a roof from a mechanical building as well as the exterior wall of the other wing of the Grand Lodge. The carpet is an HOA matter, but we'll gladly notify them about your concerns. We hope to impress you on a future stay!

There was black mold in the shower. Sheets and pillows didn’t seem too clean and had hair left on them. Water fountain was dispensing murky cloudy water and the only vending machine available card reader was broken and front desk couldn’t give us change for a 10 to get fresh water

Wouldn't book it again

Lost of things wrong in our room. The bedding looked dirty on the Murphy bed, the shower ceiling was horrible mold looking, exhaust fan in the bathroom didn't work, the lights on the ceiling fan didn't work, it was located right by the kitchen roof so you could hear the exhaust fan all day and night. The curtain rod was broke and had a hard time opening the blinds but we fixed them.

Needs some maintenance and a deep clean

This unit needs a serious overhaul to be attractive to rent again. Sheets were stained and filled with numerous long black hairs. Drywall was cracked/peeling in the shower above the showerhead. Bathtub drain was clogged and very slow. Blanket for the Murphy bed had a giant hole in it. Carpet is ratty and in need of replacement. Overall not a pleasant environment, and I'm a young male that doesn't have too high of standards for a ski trip. Avoid.

Great Location

The location is fantastic. Easy walk to the lift and right next to the bus station for a trip into town. The unit didn't have a working coffee pot, which was annoying. There was not dishwasher Detergent provided and not something I thought to bring. We didn't have any handsoap until the 2nd day, but there was dish soap to use. There was a piece of wire from a broken plug that was sticking out of a hot electrical plug. We submitted this immediately upon arrival as a safety issue. They were supposed to send someone to address, but noone showed up. This was a flagrant safety issue, that was ignored. However, the pool was great, the hottub was great and the location is great. The unit was clean. Everything is older, but it's clean, so that's no issue for us. The Murphy bed was perfect for our family.

Checkin process was confusing. Email said to check in at front desk and pick up parking pass. Front desk said they could not help me as I booked through VRBO/Vacasa. I texted & called customer service to request an early check in. I was told there was no communication to know if the unit was ready and checkin time would remain 4pm. I went to the unit upon arrival indeed to find it clean and ready. No AC which the listing did mention. The unit was HOT. It did not cool off till early morning. It was cooler outside, in the hall. There was one small window with no cross breeze. Definitely need AC even being in the mountains. The room was clean with the exception of the shower. Once we left the room the door would not lock. Customer service addressed the issue while we were at dinner and had no further problems. The safe was locked upon our arrival. Customer service said they had no one that could assist. We had no safe and left for a dinner reservation with an unlocked door. The location is fine. The unit is okay. You get what you pay for.

Great location. Questionable room.

The location of the grand lodge is perfect for a ski trip to crested butte. It’s steps away from ski rentals and lifts and the town bus stops practically at the front door. Breakfast at the restaurant was good too. The hot tub always had at least 15 people in it at all times and the water was an odd color. The room we were in looked out over the mechanical exhausts and directly into other rooms. So there’s very little privacy and no view. The art above the bed was missing and there was a clear outline from where it once was. The bathroom ceiling and shower curtain both had a ton of mold on them so you leave feeling very dirty. Grand lodge staff are amazing and very helpful. Vacasa never responds to questions on their app and if they do it’s an auto reply that doesn’t help. Hopefully the bathroom issues get fixed asap before they start causing health issues. There was one spoon and one cup for the entire unit and it looks like it hasn’t been cleaned or painted in 20+ years. Even the lamp shades were ripped. If you’re looking for a nice place - this isn’t it. If you only care about location it’s perfect.
