Modern large studio with lake views. Set up for traveling professionals and weekend get aways. Sit on the porch and watch the sun rise and set over the lake. This space was completed in 2021.
Dedicated work space. Well equipped kitchen to meet all your cooking needs.

Everything was just as described. Very clean. It is a garage apartment and as one of the previous reviewers said, there are 26 steps but if you eat like we do when visiting family or on vacation, you need to be climbing those 26 and maybe more. My wife and I are 78 years old, we stayed 3 nights and had no issues. Will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Experience

I had the best experience at this property! The owners were fantastic and super friendly, always open to communication and giving helpful instructions. I stayed here during my summer fieldwork for school, and it made my whole week so much easier. Huge thanks for such a wonderful stay!

The space was large in size and comfortable. Everything was as listed minus a French press coffee maker. The neighborhood is farther out but very quiet. Just a note that you are staying directly above the owners garage and can hear the garage doors open/close.

This is a very nice little place. Bed is comfy, nice shower and place is clean and bright. Note, there are 26 steep steps up to the unit. Wonderful quiet neighborhood.

Very relaxing

Our stay was so relaxing. We’re not in the city but it’s nice and quiet. There’s a few restaurants 15-20 minutes out like the smoke pit and the local room.

Very large spacious floor plan. Its conveniently located close to Concord and Charlotte and is a great stay.

Weekend away

The property was perfect and private. Bed was super comfortable. Rental was very clean. Long stairs up but they weren’t an issue for us. Could be for anyone with mobility issues. Would absolutely rent again.

we were very impressed with this place. it was beautiful and very well maintained. the host was gracious enough to respond quickly to the note I left upon checkout. Highly recommend this place and if we come back to this area, will definitely stay again.

Beautiful very clean community tucked away from main road and noise. Apartment is very comfortable with all daily needs in the kitchen to prepare meals. Host was very easy to contact and responded quickly. Would definitely stay here again.

My daughter, aunt and I loved this charming space to catch up and visit. It had so many things to make our visit more enjoyable and we were able to relax and feel right at home. Absolutely gorgeous and a wonderful view off the porch area. As long as steps aren't a problem for you🙂Would highly recommend!!!👍

Nice and comfortable

Very nice place to stay for my husband and I while we spent 4 days at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The only thing that was a bit difficult is the very steep stairs up to the apartment (especially load in/out) for those of us over 65. The bed was extremely comfortable and kitchen well appointed. The location is very nice and a nice view out of the windows. Thank you!

Enjoyable getaway in the Furr Lake community of Cabarrus County NC

This apartment rental was just right for our 3 week stay awaiting our baby granddaughter's arrival. Baby Lila is perfect. The neighborhood was beautiful and quiet with low car traffic... great for a morning walk. We had privacy and everything we needed. Grocery stores and restaurants were close... 73 & Main a favorite. The stairs to the apartment were no problem... we enjoyed the extra workout. Thank you to Stephanie & her family and to Merlin for his friendly visits!

We enjoyed our stay, only heard the family one of the days and the neighborhood is super quiet. It's easy to get to and conveniently located. We did have some questions the first day that went unanswered until the next day. After stays with other hosts in other locations as part of our trip who were very quick to respond, we found this disheartening. The Wi-Fi information was not listed anywhere in the apartment nor were the instructions for the dishwasher. A cell phone number was posted as a contact if we had urgent questions which also went unanswered. We brought home leftovers only to realize that there were only 3 forks, so we had to handwash them between meals. When booking this apartment, keep in mind that the access stairs are outside. Not only are there a lot of steps, but they are not under cover and got a bit slick on our way out in the rain.

My name is Stephanie and my husband is Jared. We have 2 children Aiden and Avery. Prior to living in NC we lived 6 years in Alaska . We renovate old houses as our business. After building our new house in 2020 we have now added new builds to our business.

In building our home we had room above our garage to allow for a space for travelers to relax. We created this rental in 2021.

Our family also includes a very friendly golden retriever Merlin and 2 equally friendly cats names Pratt and Whitney. We will try out best to keep our dog Merlin up during your stay.
