Enjoy this beautiful 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath cottage situated between Carpinteria`s famous sandy beaches and the beloved downtown area filled with delicious local eateries, breweries, nearby hikes, and fabulous shops. Constructed in 2016, this cottage was built with attention to detail and professionally designed with an immaculate interior space. Prepare a gourmet meal for your friends and family in the well-equipped kitchen which includes a Viking wine cooler, refrigerator, and a stove.



Cook a gourmet meal for your friends and family in the well-equipped kitchen, with a Viking Range, Wine Cooler and Refrigerator. And with a brand new gas grill in the backyard, you have all the ingredients for the ultimate summer BBQ. Or feel free to walk to all the lovely restaurants Carpinteria has to offer, including the world famous “The Spot” Hamburgers just down the street.



Each bedroom is beautifully manicured with custom headboards, designer sheets, and cozy down pillows. And enjoy watching cable television from of the brand new high-def flat screen TV’s mounted in two of the bedrooms. Large closets with built in storage make unpacking a breeze. And every room has a beautiful view of the mountains or salt marsh, but also features black out curtains for your convenience. And with a separate area with a brand new washer and dryer, you can feel like you`re right at home.



This house was designed with a state of the art technology for maximum comfort. An easy, touch key pad door makes a quick walk to the beach easy and keyless. And of course, there is high speed WiFi at your disposal. Also, stay cool on hot days with its new AC system.



Folding beach chairs are on site for your long days in the sun and the outdoor shower makes washing off sandy feet easy! A two car garage with plenty of storage makes bringing all your beach toys easy.

Go for a stroll on the beach just 2 blocks away, meander through the trails of the salt marsh preserve just a block away, or sit out on the front porch and enjoy the sunrise on the beautiful Los Padres Mountain Range.



For VRBO bookings, 95% refund up to 30 days prior and 45% refund up to 14 days prior to reservation. Security deposit will be refunded minus the credit card fee.

Another amazing summer trip!

Such a great stay at the salt creek cottage! The improvements to the front yard was such a nice surprise. We spent a lot of time out there as a family playing cards at the table and enjoying some sun! This house fits all of us perfectly (4 adults 2 kids) and we are already looking to book again! Great location and very clean and comfortable!

Amazing beach home

My family enjoyed our Carpinteria beach week in this well appointed house. It’s the perfect beach house and has everything you need to enjoy the beach and the proximity to town is an added bonus. This is the second year my family has stayed here and we would not hesitate to do it again!

Amazing house for family trip!

Wow we loved staying at the salt creek cottage! My husband and I and our 3 kids (ages 6, 2, 5 months ) plus my in laws stayed together and had an amazing time. The house was clean, so comfortable, easy to walk around town and to the beach, we absolutely loved it! We want to stay here again for sure. We ate out a lot but the kitchen was great and seemed very nice. Bedrooms and bathrooms were great sizes, the “kids room” was so cute and my girls loved it! Excited to rent again!

Wonderful Vacation at the Salt Creek Cottage

We have been going to Carpinteria every summer for as long as I can remember. It has become a yearly tradition for my mom's side of the family. My grandmother starting taking her kids 60 years ago. The Salt Creek cottage was beautifully appointed and perfect for my family. There was plenty of space and the built in closet storage was great for unpacking. The bathrooms were upgraded and large with plenty of storage as well. The kitchen was stunning...I wish my kitchen at home was that nice:) We loved it so much that we are hoping to stay here next year as well!

Fun in the best house!

The house was very clean and tidy. Presentation excellent! The dishes in the kitchen are Royal Doulton! The auto closing garage after 1min was cool! The extra large pristine Viking oven saw some use. Thank you for delivering body wash. I didn't ask for some. Even so, you thought of something that was missing and brought it over. The only thing I thought you could add to the house are coasters. I was worried about rings on the table while drinking my morning tea! Over all a great stay and I would definitely book again. Allison

Home away from home

Even with crazy un SOCAL weather, Carp is a great get away for those who crave simplicity and easy living. This property provides both and nestled between the ocean and mountains, it gives nature lovers everything they seek.

Great place to stay and enjoy Carpinteria

We thoroughly enjoyed our three-week stay at Salt Creek Cottage. The condo was clean, well-stocked, and just as advertised on the VRBO website. The property manager was especially helpful, checking in with us regularly and quickly dealing with a minor issue we encountered. It is an ideal location from which to enjoy the beach and wildlife refuge, and is an easy walk to restaurants and the Thursday Farmer's Market. We highly recommend this home!

Great spot

My family and I had a fantastic stay at this sweet house. Perfectly located near the beach and near downtown Carp. Extremely clean and well appointed. The host was very attentive and responsive. We will definitely return!

FANTASTIC HOME

We loved our stay at this beautiful property! We were in town for our daughter's wedding. We got to spend one morning at the beach which was so convenient being only 2 blocks away. Great House

Wonderful house with an expansive kitchen that was great for a family gathering with kids. Loved being a quick walk from the beach in this quiet, beachy neighborhood that’s perfect for strolls & scooter rides. Colleen was very helpful and communicative. Definitely hope to come back.

It's Perfect!

This is our second year here and my family of 4 love it. I have 2 Kidults and each one takes a guest bedroom. They say the beds are "so cozy". My husband & I take the master bedroom, and it's the perfect size for us. The layout of the house provides for gathering time, yet also alone time. Coleen is a wonderful communicator! Beach fun in style

Our accommodations were truly lovely. The space was perfect for an adult couple and adult son in town for a wedding. The kitchen was well appointed with all items needed for creating meals. The home was beautifully furnished and very light and airy. A short walk to the beach and town made the location perfect to enjoy Carpinteria. The outdoor space was limited but not necessary with the beach so close by. A wonderful stay.

Summer vacation 2022 for Bakersfield family

A cottage worth considering

Salt Creek Cottage was clean, easy to live in and well located between town and the ocean. Coleen was super responsive, friendly, and helpful. While it might be small for a family, it was a great home away from home for my husband and me. We look forward to returning next year.

A Perfect Stay!

A 45+ year old family tradition visiting Carpinteria for Thanksgiving only made better by a perfect week-stay in this beautiful home. Perfect location near beach and walking distance to campgrounds and downtown. The home is very comfortable and quiet with an upgraded kitchen that felt like home. Communication with Coleen was fantastic from the start with confirming our reservation all the way through our checkout. Highly recommend for any occasion!

Wonderful stay!

Colleen was a nice, communicative host. House instructions were simple and clear for check-in and check-out. The house is absolutely darling with all the creature comforts you could want. We can’t wait to come back and stay again!
